Hotel Surya Indah Salatiga

Yes, the hotel has its own parking area. Guests describe it as fairly spacious and secure.

The hotel staff is described in most reviews as very friendly, kind, and helpful; the manager, Mr. Faizal, receives special praise. Check-in is flexible: one guest was able to check in spontaneously at two in the morning. The staff resolves issues promptly—for example, assisting with room changes in the event of cigarette odors or a broken lock. However, there are occasional complaints regarding a lack of smiles from some staff members and an abrupt cashier.

Guests are provided with breakfast, which is often delivered directly to the room. The main dish is fried rice (nasi goreng), which most guests rate as very delicious. However, some guests note that breakfast portions can be rather small or that the selection of dishes lacks variety.

Yes, drinking water is provided at the hotel; guests note that they receive bottled mineral water daily. A water dispenser is also available in the lobby.

Wi-Fi is listed among the amenities; however, one guest reported that the network signal does not reach the room, making internet access difficult.

The hotel building and interiors are old, and the furniture appears dated; however, the rooms are kept clean and tidy. The rooms are spacious and equipped with air conditioning and televisions. Opinions regarding the beds are mixed: most guests find them comfortable, but one guest complained of worn mattress springs that caused a restless night's sleep.

The view depends on the specific room. Some rooms have terraces overlooking the main road, which offers the added bonus of a beautiful mountain view.

Cleanliness at the hotel is maintained at a high standard. Guests emphasize that despite the age of the building, the rooms and bathrooms are very clean, well-maintained, and free of unpleasant odors.

The air conditioning in most rooms works excellently, providing a pleasantly cool environment. The hot water situation is mixed: many guests confirm that it works properly, but there are complaints that hot water was unavailable on certain days or in specific rooms, or that the shower was out of order.

Towels, soap, and shampoo are provided in the rooms. However, guests note the absence of some basic amenities: toothbrushes, toothpaste, tissues, kettles, coffee, and tea. In some cases, guests complained about a complete lack of bath amenities.
