Gosyen Azana Hotel Salatiga

Absolutly do not go near this hotel. Live power wires near pool fitting teck screwed to walls in shower shar brackets. Food sub standard.
But the bigguest complait is the lie straight to your face. 5 days ago we booked one night as we had to come back to salatiga. Then my wife cancelled more than 24 hours. Notice then she was told she had to give seven days notice. Der how dumb is this we only booked it 5 days ago. Then he said he will hold our money for 90 days my god typical chinese owned hotel.
Everyone dont go there! 200 meters up the road same price luxury plus is the wahid hotel go go there.

My second stay here. Great place to stay, luckily I got the room with a nice view. Strategic location and easy access to go anywhere from here. Friendly staff. Good food also, but a little bit pricey. I really recommend this hotel.

I chose a more expensive room at 5th floor but it is so noisy as the wall are thin from the neighbor and can hear the mosque prayers. Hotel is smacked right in the middle of the market and nothing much around the hotel. The breakfast spread looks great but I didn't try. The cafe area is surprisingly pleasant. The staff is unhelpful as was asking for ironing board and iron but was told need to wait one hour.

A very nice and pleasant hotel, affordable, the interior was pleasing to the eye. My only complaint is that the breakfast was rather underwhelming, the only saving grace is the spread/variety of the food. Overall would recommend.

Stayed on March 31 & April 1 in Room 208. Housekeeping was very poor. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a dirty mat at the entrance, which was never cleaned during our two days of stay. Upon entering the room, we smelled urine in the bath. The smell went away after spraying water all over the bath. The air-conditioner did not provide standard, adequate coolness. We opened the AC's indoor unit and found out there were no filters inside. That's why it easily got dirty and produced an abnormal noise. We did not get adequate coolness in our room all the two nights of our stay. We suspect the AC was so very dirty. The corridor's carpet was in dire need of deep cleaning. They just covered up the dirt with offensive perfume. What an easy and lazy way! The bath's toilet bowl's pad was not well fastened, causing it to move when we sat on it. The sink's trap, we suspect it was dirty since the water did not flow smoothly. There were so many other issues concerning the housekeeping that we cannot mention them one by one here. Issues that actually could have been solved easily.

Nice hotel. Clean and delicious breakfast food. The location is in the city center.
