I have been using this facility since it was named Hotel Dynasti, then Horison, and currently Java Heritage Hotel Purwokerto. There were many considerations in making this choice, including close proximity to the city center with a calm atmosphere far from noise disturbances, not far from several dining places, spacious parking lot, and last but not least, of course, cleanliness, staff friendliness, and excellent service. On my last visit from May 24-26, 2026, I still found all of these considerations at this hotel.
And there was one very extraordinary thing: since I also planned to do the Arafah fasting before Eid al-Adha, I requested help if breakfast can be delivered to the room for Sahur at around 02:30. And truly unexpectedly, this request was approved by the Chef and the restaurant team; Sahur was delivered to the room at 02:30! I really appreciate this extraordinary effort to meet customer needs. And for this very excellent effort, I can only express my thanks and, of course, will promote other customers to stay at Java Heritage Hotel and continue to use it if I need to stay in Purwokerto. Truly extraordinary hospitality that I have never experienced at any other hotel. Once again, thank you and my regards to the manager and the entire team of Java Heritage Purwokerto.

Room is badly insulated, we can hear room next door having sex at 3.29 am and people who talk loud. Maybe because the hotel give us room with connecting door.
TV is better at other 3 star hotel. Fridge is old and almost broken.
At check in they giving us hard time for wanting double bed, said it is not available. But turns out they do have room with double bed.
Do not get fooled by the stars this hotel have, I would suggest find another hotel.

I stayed at Java Heritage with high expectations due to its good reputation. Overall, the hotel's atmosphere was quite comfortable and the staff was friendly. However, there were a few things I felt needed attention.
The television in the room felt quite small for this class of hotel, making it uncomfortable to watch from the comfort of my bed. Furthermore, the hot water in the shower wasn't hot enough, especially at night. This was quite disruptive to my rest.
I'm sharing these comments as feedback so we can further improve the guest experience in the future. Thank you.
