The Gecho Inn Town

Stayed the night here on our way to Karimunjawa. Friendly staff who were very helpful. They let us check out late when our plans went sideways on us. The room was big and clean, way nicer than I was expecting. Ac worked good and there were a number of TV channels that actually worked.
Docking a star for the bathroom. The bathroom needs some work, the water pressure in the sink came out as a trickle. The shower wasn't much better plus the shower head needs to be replaced, it's falling apart and sprays everywhere. The towel rack, which is oddly located IN the shower was half ripped off the wall.
We would and probably will stay here again.

You can't get the breakfast if you don't stay here and the lady just was not having a good day or something.

This place was so lovely to stay at! It is located close to the port, so is the perfect place to stay if you are going to Karimunjawa the next day. We had such a nice sleep and overall stay here, the room was so spacious, clean and breakfast was included which was great! One of the best value hotels, I’d highly recommend!

It's a budget hotel and the location is great close to town center and harbour. Good place to spend a night if you want to catch the boat the next day. There are not many rooms and it was decent. The place also has a restaurant + sports bar which serve great food. Breakfast is delivered to the room.

It's so far the best food we found in Jepara. We always ate here whenever we visit Jepara. Love their pizza and their variety of food. The place is cozy and homey. I just hope they have separate smoking and non smoking area, because the last time when we were there and there were other guests smoking, the smell was all over the restaurant.

When we drew up at the Gecho Inn it was fairly late and we were quite uncertain because the streetfront was a definitely a restaurant. Anyway, we walked in to discover that our spacious double bedroom is accessed through the restaurant. The decor in the restaurant is decidedly quaint but very entertaining. There were no customers at that hour. A caretaker showed us our room and took our breakfast order.
The furniture is beautiful, the AC functions perfectly, the bathroom was super clean and the bath/bed linen of high quality. It was so wonderful to have a face towel instead of having to use a bath towel for all purposes…
A plentiful well-cooked breakfast was served in our room. Old fashioned and wonderful! Unfortunately we had to hit the road soon after but if we are in Jepara again, we will definitely be staying there again.

Enak makanane + udarane sejuk.

Went there for the seminar. New and nice meeting room. I think the capacity is up to 50-60 persons. The airco is cool. We still can have social distancing. Definitely recommend to have a meeting here.

The rooms are spacious, clean, furniture and bed quality, the bathroom is also good DG price class. Booking overnight jd 2 nights deh.

Very clean bedroom, very nice bathroom, AC and bed. Not very Indonesian or exotic place, good western food and drinks, within a few minutes walk to town centre. Practical if you want to spend a night before heading to Karimunjawa or shopping furniture.

Pros: a small and quiet accommodation. Good location. Nice staff. Descent breakfast options that can be ordered. Good bedroom quality. Clean linen. Good cable TV channels and quality. Clean toilet. Showers only. Mini fridge and an extra pillow are available.
Overall the facilities are showing some ageing, however it's still well maintained. Only four rooms are available for rent.
Cons: Only one car parking spot at the front of the cafe, roadside. No safety issues during our stay, though. Be prepared for the mosquitoes, although they give an electric repellant. Squeaky and hard to open main door. Price and value could be more competitive.
