The new buildings was great! The location was a bit far from the receptionist but it has pool in front of our room, a cafe, and great surrounding.
The family room was also comfy. And the next day, I moved to the old buildings. It was just OK.
But the great things is, their resto! I ordered food and they came out quite fast and also delicious for price wise.

The hotel has two different options. You have either the older rooms which I do not recommend. For 100k more you can get the rooms at the back which are new with the white bathroom tiles, that's where the pool is as well. Breakfast was ok, nothing special. They could not buy tickets for the ferry for us. Even though it's quite easy for locals because you need a local bank account to buy them. So I had to drive to the port and the office was closed. So I bought it from a tour operator there. A little bit more expensive, but peace of mind. There was no service at the restaurant when we were there in the morning before we left.

Had a super pleasant stay at Syailendra Hotel, a boutique hotel featuring traditional Jepara wood furnitures. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, while the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout the stay. Highly recommended for travelers transiting to Karimunjawa, as well as for families and business trips.
