Allisa Resort Hotel in Q&A

Information is provided based on reviews and may contain inaccuracies.

Where is Allisa Resort Hotel located and what is nearby?

The resort hotel is located right on the seashore, adjacent to the main road, making it easily visible for those arriving from Jakarta. In the immediate vicinity of the hotel, there are minimarkets and various catering outlets where food (such as chicken, satay, and bakso) can be purchased at more affordable prices than in the hotel restaurant. Guests appreciate the convenient location, as there is no need to drive into narrow alleys.

Does the hotel have parking?

The hotel has a spacious parking area where guests can freely choose a spot for their vehicle. Some visitors describe the parking as being quite large, and security staff are prompt in assisting with vehicle placement.

How does the front desk operate and how polite is the staff?

Opinions regarding the staff are divided. Many guests praise the employees, specifically highlighting Mr. Pondu and Ms. Lina for their friendliness, efficiency, and excellent communication when organizing corporate events. However, others complain about rudeness at the reception, a lack of smiles, and a strict approach to check-in time (exactly at 2:00 PM), even if only a few minutes remain. Queues during registration in peak seasons have also been mentioned.

What breakfasts are offered at the hotel and how varied are they?

Breakfasts primarily consist of local Indonesian cuisine, with Western options limited to salads and toast. Reviews regarding food quality are contradictory: some guests find the breakfasts delicious, while others describe them as "warung level" (simple street food) and complain about the limited selection. There have been instances where dishes ran out by 8:30 AM, and the service in the dining area was untidy, with dirty plates left uncollected.

Is there drinking water and a kettle in the rooms?

Some rooms (for example, family rooms) are equipped with an electric kettle, but they are often absent in standard rooms. To obtain hot water, guests must use the common dispensers located in the corridors or the lounge. Refrigerators are also provided in the rooms and function properly, although some guests complained about unpleasant odors coming from them.

What is the condition of the rooms, furniture, and beds?

The condition of the rooms varies from good to unsatisfactory. Guests note that the beds are generally comfortable and clean, and the air conditioners work effectively. However, there are serious complaints regarding wear and tear: noisy air conditioners, dim lighting, rusty kettles, dirty floors, and unpleasant smells from the bed linen or wardrobes. Some visitors noted that the furniture looks outdated and requires repair.

What is the view from the room windows?

The view depends heavily on the room category. Superior or Standard rooms often have windows facing the corridor. Meanwhile, Deluxe, Suite, and family rooms offer magnificent panoramic views of the sea, which guests describe as spectacular and romantic.

How clean are the rooms and what is the state of the housekeeping?

The level of cleanliness is inconsistent. Many guests are satisfied with the cleanliness of the rooms, but there are complaints about dirty bathrooms, hair in the drains, limescale on ceramics, and dust. In some cases, guests found food remains in the refrigerator upon check-in. Issues with odors in the bathrooms due to ineffective ventilation have also been mentioned.

How do the air conditioning and ventilation work at Allisa Resort Hotel?

Most guests rate the air conditioning positively, noting that the rooms remain cool. Nevertheless, there are complaints about loud noise from the air conditioners that disturbs sleep, as well as unpleasant smells from the ventilation system in the bathrooms.

What amenities and supplies are provided in the room?

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning, a television, a refrigerator, towels, and basic toiletries. Bathrooms typically have a water heater for hot water. However, guests note a lack of basic items, such as an insufficient number of trash bins (often only one in the toilet) and the absence of full shower heads in some room categories.

What pools are on the territory and how clean are they?

The hotel has several pools, including a children's pool with slides and water attractions, as well as a deeper pool in the Allisa Cabin area. Many guests note that the pool water is saline (sea water), which may cause eye irritation in children and a sticky feeling on the skin. There are also complaints about cloudy water, floating debris, and peeling ceramic tiles on the bottom.

What is the hotel's beach like and what are the characteristics of the water entry?

The hotel has its own private beach, which guests value for its cleanliness and privacy. The beach is quite narrow, with a small sandy area for games. Entry into the water is characterized by a large number of stones and corals, which can be dangerous for feet and hands. During strong waves, the shoreline becomes even narrower.

Is the hotel suitable for vacations with children?

The hotel is very family-oriented and is considered child-friendly. For children, there are swimming pools with slides, an indoor air-conditioned playground in the lobby, and access to a private beach for playing in the sand. Guests note that children enjoy spending time here very much.

What additional entertainment and services are available at Allisa Resort Hotel?

The premises include a fitness center, billiards, a mini-cinema, and many picturesque photo spots, including a wooden bridge and a café on the upper terrace. For active recreation, water sports such as "banana boat" rides are offered, as well as boat trips for sunset watching. Fishing is also available along the coast.

8/10

Staying one night here with my husband. I will try to describe the plus things, such as strategic location, they also have beautiful cafe (very quiet and ocean view spoils your eyes) and the sea/beach here is very clean compared the surroundings beach/sea (as they make it private), their staffs are also friendly. Now it's the turn of negative points. Disclaimer: everything I mention here is purely our own opinion, could be different with other guests' experience. Actually the hotel facility is quite complete, only everything in less quality. Such as old shower, thin room curtain, poor lock system which disfunctioning lots of time. And about the breakfast, less choices including the fruit. But at least the taste is just ok. My advice: don't expect too much from your breakfast here. Hopefully in the future the hotel management will improve better. As the price of each room is not really cheap and the market is not far from hotel location, I think they can provide plenty food (especially during weekend/public holiday). Thank you.
