I love♥️ looking back on the time I spent here with my boyfriend for a few nights.

The room is very comfortable, with a warm atmosphere that feels like staying in a traditional joglo house peaceful, homey, and relaxing.
The restaurant is excellent.

Amazing place! My stay at Tepi Sawah Lodge in Batukaru was nothing short of magical.

You like jungle? Good.
You like the sounds of nature? Good.

These are the best hosts ever. It was my first location after my arrival to Bali and I could not leave the island before visiting them another time. Real Balinese couple very pacient and attentive.

This place is an absolute hidden gem, stunning views, attentive service and clean/well kept bungalows and facilities.

It is a beautiful place, but the 'resort' needs some care and love. When we arrived the water between the rice fields were not running and the swimming pool was not cared for long time.

I had a very unique opportunity to stay here about 3 weeks. The place is gorgeous and quiet and tucked away in rice fields in the mountains. The staff here is well trained and top notch.

This is my favorite place in Bali.

We have not stayed here (yet), we just passed by on a walk. And saw on the sign that they sell Luwak coffee.

Amazing views! So peaceful. It's a very simple place so don't expect much. I'd say the biggest concern is walls are paper thin. I could hear everything from the neighbors room.

My first trip to bali. I flew from Australia and my aunty from India. We were worried when we arrived late at night. But next day with day break we were overjoyed.

A beautiful and peaceful place just inside the Jatiluwih area (entrance fee must be paid). Tent nr 1 is a bit bigger than tent nr 2… No issues with the rain and the frogs at night are soothing 🌄

We booked 2 Cabin with BBQ. Room is nice and clean. Located on top of the mountain, surounded by farm. You can also pick your own veggie with local farmer nearby.

I spent three weeks here in March 2026 to work on a writing project and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Quiet, truly beautiful location and friendly locals. Kadek and Roy, the hosts, were great.

The most amazing place and people who own it. I slept very well and enjoyed one of the rare moments of peace and quiet.

Great place. Dog friendly. Clean, beautiful, separate kitchen, hot water in the shower, air conditioning. Nicely renovated room and shower. Pool. TV YouTube and Netflix.

A good place to stay for a couple of nights, very quiet and peaceful! It is a bit out of the way of things and there are not too many food options around.
