Bali Camping

This is most definitely the best camping area in Bali. The host Sam really goes out of the way to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need. I travelled with my wife and daughter who wanted to cook marshmallows on a fire which Sam built for us so that they could. He started the BBQ and allowed us to use the kitchen to prepaid our meals. There is no shops in the close vacinity but Sam was nice enough to take us to the local supermarket which was only a 10 minute drive. Please do bring your own meat though as I did not see any there.
The tent was large and comfortable. The toilets and showes are very clean. We loved the layout of the camping grounds which is secluded and comfortable giving privacy to each individual tent site. There is no better place to camp in Bali, if you want to avoided disapointment then this is the place to go.
Over all it was an excellent place to stay.

I’d class this as one of the best backpackers/camping sites in Bali. Yet, it’s definitely cheaper than probably all the rest!
It is far superior to many other campsites in Bali because the camping plots are individually laid out, giving you a good amount of privacy. Other sites often have rows of tents so close that they are all squeezed up together; almost touching!
Bali Camping comes with the luxuries of tents (or a hut) provided; showers and toilets; kitchen you can use; and a bar! Great for meeting other travelers and sharing stories.
It’s located in real rural Bali and is an ideal base to visit natural hot springs, and other sites of beauty and interest, like the World Heritage Site of Jatiluwih (just a short ride away).
I brought my own camping gear (as I had it with me). Met great people, shared food, stories and jokes around the camp fire with people from Russia, Saudi, Italy, Netherlands, Indonesia.
Will definitely be back here again and again.

Had a wonderful stay here. The hosts Sam and Youlanda were exceptionally friendly, was taken for a trip to the near by hot springs and the amazing rice terraces in Jatiluwih. The accommodation was clean and tidy and so was the bathroom facilities (hot water available) the serenity was perfect in the evenings and the sound of distant animals was an amazing way to wake up. The food was deliciously cooked and the outdoor barbecue we had was a wonderful touch. Would definitely recommend this place to friends and family and cant wait to be able to visit once more.
