The Palms Penida

Worst accommodation I have ever stayed in. The staff are very nice except for the manager and the very young driver who has apparently never driven a car before because he drives with the handbrake on and doesn't really understand how to use the clutch and likes to start off in second gear. The owners are so stingy that they don't even replace the shower hose or the shower head. But the worst thing I found was that the manager cheated me when renting a motorbike. She first told me that I could get a Yamaha XMAX for 150, 000, 2 hours later I got a very old and small Yamaha that has nothing in common with an XMAX. You can get a machine like that here on the island for 50, 000. But she still insisted that I pay 150, 000 per day for it. A complete rip-off. The owners should fire her and invest money in necessary items like a new shower head. I can't explain how the hotel got a 5-star rating, except that they are fake.

We had an amazing time staying here, the location was perfect, the staff are so friendly and helpful. We felt incredibly welcomed by Ayunda! There was also a very friendly dog hanging around the site :) Overall 10/10 would recommend.

Great stay. Owners are incredibly kind. Made us breakfast at 5am and packed it up for our early trip. Location is close to everything, both sides of the touristy area. Room was very clean, had everything we needed. We were greeted with a lovely welcome drink and some amazing dogs which live on the property. 10/10 would stay again.
