The Elementum

We loved out stay at the Elementum. The staff and service was amazing and was extra thoughtful of my dietary requirements. The room was very nice and we had a beautiful view of the pool and the ocean. There were so many choices for breakfast which we loved and they were very tasty and fresh. There was some construction going on which was noisy but that might clear up soon.

Everything about The Elementum is wonderful! Most incredible and friendly staff, beautiful rooms and a great location. This was the end to our stay in Bali and allowed us to completely relax before a long flight back to UK. Highly recommend anyone to stay here.

We were not even supposed to go to Uluwatu but escaped Cangghu as we really didnt like the vibe. We decided to move for our two last nights to Uluwatu and my fiancee found this available resort. It was the best end of our holiday! A real hidden gem amid the Uluwatu chaos. The hotel is at a great and central location close to the best beaches and shops with amazing view and private cosy terraces. It s a real zen place with beautiful seperate villas. Since there are only limited amount of rooms it made us feel at home. Best was the spotless service of amazing staff and very very good restaurant. We love it so much we ate there all diners. Very clean and hygienic. Thanks so much Elementum crew!

My fiancée and I had the most amazing experience at Elementum. The staff were honestly perfect! Rooms were immaculate and the food was tier one. Safe to say this will be a place a will always come back to.

We stayed at this Place Only for 2 Nights and enjoyed everything. Unique Rooms, quiet Place, great breakfast from 7am to 23pm. You can get up When You Like an get a great breakfast selection. The Restaurant ist very very good. Frech ingredients and a Lot of Love! In 10 Minutes you are at the Beach or at the nearby Shops.

Enjoyed our stay at the Elementum. A beautiful boutique hotel, very well maintained (had cleaners/ gardeners around frequently), lovely infinity pool, and decent food.
The pool is very clean and because it’s such small hotel it was often empty! Plenty of comfortable loungers around. Felt quiet and peaceful. The rooms were nice, clean, good air con, beds & pillows. Bathroom was gorgeous. However the rooms were not very big, the foot of the bed is right by the window, which is less than 2 meters from the footpath/ pool, so not the most private. As you swim or walk from your room to the restaurant, you have to avoid looking into people’s room, or vice versa if you’re in your room!
The restaurant/ bar / reception was nice. Cozy seating, overlooking the view, with the sea in the distance. They offer all day breakfast! Plenty of variety, including fresh coconuts, and they all taste good — would recommend the breakfast burger or any granola bowl, the hot coffees were also fantastic. However they only gave one plate of fruit between two, and it was always watermelon and papaya.
Service from all the staff was also great. We got a nice cold welcome drink on arrival.
I wish there was a nicer front/ entrance, you have to go down an alley to get there and we missed it when we first came. But it is a good location overall; walking distance to lots of restaurants, cafes, shops, and Bingin & Dreamland beach.

Had a wonderful stay at this boutique like hotel, the location is great as it’s in the middle of everything you would want to go visit. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. My only negative comments would be the bathroom has an open air layout allowing insects especially mosquitoes in and the room door has a gap so it was really uncomfortable at night sleeping with mosquito in our ears and I thought breakfast could have been a bit more to choose from, a small smoothie bowl & one breakfast item would’ve been nice to have. Also the fruit plate is only 1 plate for 2 people which is very small portion.

Had an amazing stay at The Elementum in May 2025. Spent five days at the hotel, the staff were amazing! Had excellent service from Nesti, Dee, Joel, Dimey, Kathy, Eddie, and Radit, but everyone was amazing! They were all very helpful in answering questions, accommodation for my husband’s gluten allergy, and planning our daily adventures. The breakfast, drinks, cocktails, dinner, and desserts were so delicious — we tried it all (multiple times)! I would definitely stay again, and recommend this hotel to anyone going to the Uluwatu area! Thank you for everything!

This boutique hotel is such a gem. We were asking since how long they were open as everything (rooms, bathrooms, restaurant) seem fairly new but we were surprised to hear that was already 6 years they were operating. This place is very well taken care of.
The food was delicious, cocktails were super beautifully presented and super tasty. The staff was incredible. We were traveling with two kids and staff don’t hesitate to jump in to help entertain the little ones when we were eating for instance, little help making a huge difference!

Staying at Elementum was a happy accident! We booked our accommodations for the wrong days and luckily were able to snag a room here for one night and are so happy that we found it. We arrived after almost 24 hours of travel and were welcomed so graciously into the space with a welcome cocktail and kindness from the staff. The hotel has the most beautiful infinity pool that overlooks the ocean and each room feels custom and private. It was my first experience in Bali and it was the perfect escape, very relaxing to sit by the pool and nearby to the action in Uluwatu.

The Elementum is a boutique hotel gem. The owners & staff are welcoming. I’ve been staying there for past 3 years from 3 nights to 1 month & still get consistently warm treatment, delicious food that’s leans to healthy. Never.
Have I ever seen a hotel offer all day breakfast included. The drinks are inventive and so refreshing. Everything including decor is well curated and reflects the owners, a couple, experience in hospitality and creating intentional, thoughtful experience. It’s a tucked away place in Uluwatu that I’ll continue to recommend and return to.

We had 4 nights and initially were disappointed by arriving to a dug up entrance with heavy building works going on. But once you pass through the door you are welcomed by the best staff in Bali and immediately feel welcome! The works have to be done in low season to maintain the high standard and they did everything they could to not bother the guests. The welcome cocktail and beautiful room soon made us relax. It is a small boutique hotel cleverly designed around an infinity pool with a lot of thoughtful extras and touches everywhere. The restaurant is excellent and we ate there several times really enjoying the menu. Would definitely stay again and as they are carrying out maintenance it will continue to be excellent for a long time to come.

Our stay at the Elementum was wonderful. There was so much thought put into all the amenities and little touches around the rooms that were so wonderful. I enjoyed the french press coffee available every day in the room. My wife loved the teas. Our 3 year old son loved the pool. It was the perfect size to put a swimming jacket on him and let me swim up and down the length of the pool. It felt like an oasis in the now very busy Uluwatu.

We've been to the Elementum the second time now and the team and the room was amazing as usual.
The staff is really caring and helps whenever you need them.
The food in the Mensa restaurant is also really good and the cocktails taste amazing.
Whenever you decide to stay in Uluwatu, you should try to book a room for at least a few days.
You wont regret — I promise!

Loved our stay at The Elementum! The room was comfortable and the shower area was nice and spacious. Rooms 1 and 2 had a sea view and was furthest away from the entrance and common area, offering more privacy.
Good variety with the daily breakfast as well, and loved the cappuccinos with oat milk (and the coconut sugar! ). The staff were friendly and always went out of their way to see that we were ok (special shout out for the woman from Flores).
Downsides were the shower water flowing out of the shower area onto the floors, and the sink area getting wet when it rains. But this was rectified daily by housekeeping who also sprayed the rooms with mosquito spray at night. The mattress was also quite hard.

Such a great place to be. The rooms are lovely and in pristine condition. The service is exceptional — even before and after staying there. Additional highlights are the signature cocktails and awesome food. The hotel is situated in a calm area but you can reach uluwatu in just a couple of minutes via taxi or scooter (rentable at the hotel). We’ll definitely come back again and can absolutely recommend staying there.

Amazing. It’s the only word I have for the services there, location, view, food, spa. Best hotel I’ve ever stayed, close to all key places and to the sea. Well done, guys!
