Alamanda Bingin is a small property made up of a garden surrounded by about ten bungalows. The area is very quiet and peaceful, which is great for relaxing. However, the road outside the property is completely dark at night, with no street lighting at all.
The bungalow itself is very simple and basic (with external bathroom) but I personally appreciated it, as this was exactly the kind of experience I was looking for. At check-in, the staff accompanied us to the bungalow and gave a brief introduction, although their English was very basic. On the day of check-out, there was only one lady available; we asked for information and whether we could leave our luggage, but unfortunately she was unable to communicate clearly or provide any answers.
Another big disappointment was the swimming pool. It is quite small, which would have been fine if it had been usable. Unfortunately, it was very dirty and there seemed to be no maintenance or cleaning. In the 24 hours we stayed there, no one used the pool at all.
Date of stay: 26-27 September 2025 (one night)
This small complex area has so much more potential. The pool area was enjoyable to sit at. The staff just kept to then self (witch we were fine with) there was a nice dog who romed around aswell as 2 cats and 3 little kittens right outside our room. I'm not sure if the cats belonged to the owners of the apartment, but they didn't look well fed, we were putting out water for them that they jumped to very quickly.
The rooms,
The room was very dull, with no natural sunlight coming in. It also had a lot of ants and mosquitos in there, which the net didn't help. We were waking up with multi bites every morning. There were also 3 geckos living in our ceiling, which was a bit uncomfortable at first, but we got used to them. Rooms did get cleaned every day, and towels changed, and the stones in the shower looked nice but were very uncomfortable to stand on. Was also no fridge.
I would like to see this place take full advantage of the setup they have here and do something different to make it a bit more enjoyable.

We really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for accommodation in Uluwatu!
The location was excellent, with local shops just a short walk away and central Uluwatu only a quick scooter ride from the property. The bungalow itself was very spacious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We also appreciated the mosquito net, which definitely came in handy as a few little visitors managed to find their way inside during our stay!
One of our favourite features was the outdoor bathroom. It was mostly sheltered, surprisingly spacious, and felt very unique. That said, the thought of tropical bugs joining us was definitely in the back of our minds 😂, so we made sure to keep things like our toothbrushes safely inside the room. We also liked that the shower had a filter attached, which was a nice touch.
The staff were wonderfully friendly throughout our stay. When we were leaving, they were celebrating a religious festival, and it was lovely to meet some of their family members and learn a little about the celebration and its significance.
Overall, a fantastic stay with comfortable accommodation, a great location, and genuinely lovely people. We would happily stay here again!
