Even the location is little bit isolated, quiet but I enjoyed this resort,, Huge room, breakfast buffet everyday change, taste good n delicious n many choices,
N the most I like about private beach is under clift, very nice view different from private beach the other hotels.

Superb property! Excellent view of the ocean from the suites with ocean view. It's the cornermost property in Nusa Dua, so it's very secluded and have a private beach area. The staff is excellent. 10 min drive from Bali Collection shopping. We had booked the ocean view suites which also offered us complimentary snorkeling and other activities. Loved the place to the core. Great place to be if ur with family or friends. I would totally recommend this place to all.

Mesmerizing view of the Indian ocean from Suite rooms is what got us here and we were not disappointed. Staff was very friendly and very helpful. Breakfast buffet could have been a little better in terms of taste but there were a lot of varieties which kept us going back. They were also helpful in booking us cabs when ever we needed one. They also offered free Cycling tour, Snorkeling and kayaking tours. Would definitely recommend.

Ok if on a budget with private access to beach. Right next to Samabe. Would pick Samabe over this place any day. Large rooms however not as clean as Samabe. Hallways smell funny and there's a huge wall in the hallways blocking the views as the resort is built up against a cliff. Service wears shoes in the room which I found dirty. Resort is swarming with chinese which we found very loud and noisy. There is beach access however lots of rocks. Top of stairs stated area is under construction with sheltered area, tables and bar area. Lots of potential however this place needs a total revamp to provide top notch service.

I very loved it this hotel… best room… best view and best service… very recommended for everyone. I'll be back.

The most amazing hotel we stayed in Bali (or ever). The room was so beautiful and spacious. View to the ocean — it was breathtaking Staff was so friendly and helpful. Food was delicious. If we will come again to Bali, this will be the place where we should go again! Highly recommend to everyone!

I didn’t have a pleasant time at the hotel. It was a very quiet hotel. The restaurant did not serve variety of food (breakfast). The swimming pool was closed several times per day for wedding occasions.

We didn't have a very pleasant stay here. Overall, the place felt disorganized and unusually quiet at times. We had a really poor experience with the hotel's tour desk — where the tour didn't show up at all and the hotel only managed to contact the tour driver after we were waiting almost for an hour. The rooms and facilities are quite good. The hotel looks fairly new as well and the beach is quiet (but there are definitely better beaches in Bali). The hotel is quite far away from Nusa Dua and there's only a few times in a day when the hotel can drop guests to town. At other times we had to reserve taxis specially as there are no taxis near the hotel anywhere. We didn't enjoy the hotel's meals and food so much and vegetarian options were limited.

Too much Chinese guests and so noisy… you never expect this hotel will be 5 star service. I think 4 stars are almost okay for this hotel. A little overpriced for all service. But the room was very very huge. Regarding the cleaness, it was not very nice so that it waa the only problem for me.

Beautiful villa with perfect ocean view. Bedrooms have giant space! Compare with the suite, the restaurant and bar are not that fantastic.

Beautiful serene place if viewed from balcony of your hotel room. Downside is… the pool is hardly accessible during the day due to non stop wedding occasions occupying the poolside. Cannot access the beachfront due to construction works being done. Food quality & selection on buffet quite poor as well. 1 time visit in this place is good enough just because of the seaview and the good, clean nice spaceous room.

A nice place to destress with the swimming pool looking towards the refreshing view of the sea & garden plants! The breakfast buffet is different every day & appetizing. Foods choices are nice, only wish in near future, they will include more local cuisines. Spacious room of 100 sqmt area with mini kitchen of dining table, microwave oven & fridge for your delicacies and balcony view toward the sea. Try out the mssage & spa services which are relaxing & therapists are well-trained. Quiet, peaceful & relaxing astmosphere, do recommend for all to come & experience it.

What a view! This place was just beyond our expectations. The pictures don't do it justice. To wake up to the rolling waves and smiling staff every day was just superb. I look forward to staying here again.

Hotel room is fantastic with a fantastic ocean view, poolside as well. Service is however so so
and food is unfortunately horrible. Have been here for two days now and had all meals (twice) and would just like to go into the kitchen myself to show how to make for instance Rice Paper rolls and a Salad Nicoise and make them taste.
On the menu it says they serve Fresh Juices and we specifically asked if they are freshly squeezed and was informed they were. When we received them it was just juice from a box. This is NOT a 5* hotel and they should remove the word "Luxury" from the name.
If they would not claim to be a luxury hotel then I could also accept some of the misses they do with service and food but as long as they claim to be a luxury hotel they need to up their game.

End of benoa, pretty run down but huge spacious rooms all overlooking the ocean. Sad breakfast line up.

Quiet, cozy, casual. Very nice hotel with friendly staff.

Very nice staff and services. If you need to leave early in the morning you can ask them the breakfast box and they will bring it to your room. So quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The location is a bit far from the center of Nusa Dua but they have free shuttle bus and taxi is not so expensive so it's not really a problem.

We stayed at Ulu Segara in January 2016 and had a fantastic time. It is a place where you can relax, have a great time with your family or spouse. Far enough from all the busyness of Bali, but still close enough to buy daily necessity. We stayed there for 4 nights in one of the villas with private swimming pool. The children didn't want to get out of the pool. The staffs are extremely polite regardless of whatever requests we threw at them, especially having 4 children travelling in our group plus my parents. The variety they provided for breakfasts is more than one can expect, topped with spectacular view to the ocean. Ulu Segara is a place that I would highly recommend to any couple or family who are looking to find the real meaning of holiday. More than what money can buy. Keep up the good work, Ulu Segara. See you again!
