Review of Ramayana Hotel 3*

Very very very bad first experience for me and my family. We had booked 2 rooms, and my eldest daughter decided to cancel her room and we still went ahead and wanted ours. We went back and fourth before arriving asking was it still ok we have our room even though our daughter cancelled her trip and room, they said yes don't worry your room is still here: we rocked up, they made me, my husband and 3 kids sit in there hot lobby with not even water, while they pretended to do computer work, for over an hour, saying there manager is on lunch break, then continued to say, some one needs to pay for not only 1 other room but somwere pulled out a third room some one had made. They kept showing up paper work saying'you booked 3 rooms, someone must pay for 2 other rooms' we said our daughter cancelled her room, we want just the 1 room please for our 1 family. Still over an hour and nothing, left us sitting there. She then came over and said for the 5 nights that we are paying $1347, which yes we knew that, BUT THEN, says you don't get breakfast with that, when we did click breakfast. I then checked online there and then and it was cheaper to book there and then, cancel our online booking, and re book for cheaper and get breakfast, they then say, no there's no free cancellation, which they would of takin 1 night out of our credit card, or maybe more. Our 10 year old started crying, she didn't know were we would sleep for the night, they wouldn't take us up to our room, so my husband demanded after lots of getting frustrated and angry at them, put the money back in my card and were leaving, luckily we came back to grand barong and they had 1 room left: they way they wernt apologetic and the look on there face when they refunded our $1347, l never forget. Absolutely never been treated like this in bali EVER. $269 per night with no breakfast is disgusting.
