This was a our third time staying at Griya Santrian we love the hotel for its location, pools & beachfront vibe. Definitely be back.

Family friendly, nice and clean rooms, breakfast great, both restaurants have good food, right on the beach also highly recommend all staff from reception to cleaners, gardeners, and caring nature of night manager for all he done for us Thankyou.

I am enjoying the Griya Santrian very much, the staff are really helpful and friendly. Nothing appears too much for them. The rooms are large and spacious. The pool area is lovely. Breakfast was very good. Plenty of choices and the service is good.

Great place to stay. Very friendly and very clean. Highly recomend.

One of the most wonderful resorts I have stayed in. Guests are treated like family, nothing is to much trouble. The food has been lovely. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Thank you for having us.

I have been there only for the day but the pools are great, the food is amazing and the service really fantastic.

The ambiance and amenities are complete with out standing quality.

Excellent food for breakfast at the side of the pool and beach…

We only dined at the restaurant right on the beach. We did not stay at the resort so only reviewing the restaurant. Location and the view we had for lunch was amazing! The food is good but portions are small for the price. The alcoholic drinks however, did not taste if it had any alcohol in them. We had to take them back and they claimed to put a little more alcohol. Didn’t taste any different. Shame as the setting was so lovely and had we had good drinks that would make you a little light headed and happy, we would have spent a lot more $$. Note to restaurant owners, don’t skimp on the alcohol, customers would stay longer and spend a lot more $$. Bali is NOT busy! There was only 1 other diner at the restaurant.

Great place to stay if you enjoy peaceful beach front, plenty places to eat, gentle music. We love it and will definitely return.

My 13th stay and certainly not my last. My home away from home. Staff treat me like family and I consider them mine. There is everything to love about this resort. Staff I have already mentioned. So many types of rooms to choose from all of which are reasonably priced, beautifully presented and always kept so clean The food served whether from the restaurant or pizza bar overlooks the beach. Or one may prefer room service or delivered to the pool area. The gardens here are to die for and kept in pristine order. There are 4 fabulous pools to choose from (front pool with a swim up bar) I’m still not sure which is my favourite. The location of the resort is situated on the beach and stretches to the main street behind, offering so much in walking distance. Retail shops, restaurants, (both of which you can find along the beach also) cafes, bakerys, supermarket, chemists, sports bars, liquor shops and so much more. The best thing I love about Sanur is the fact its quieter than the hustle and bustle of Kuta, Legian and Seminyak. I highly recommend “The Griya Santrian”

This is a really beautiful place to stay. Beautiful Balinese surroundings and gardens. Had 2 massages which were beautifully done. Very noisy bed bases which wakes you up when turning over. Very close to shops and restaurants. Great pools and the beach is at the edge of the property. I would definitely recommend and would love to come back. Thanks.

Such a great place. Super friendly staff (who love kids! ), well appointed rooms, beautiful gardens and nice pools. Great location with the best part of the beach right out front, but tucked away from the chaos of other nearby places. And an easy taxi ride north to Ubud, west to Kuta/Legian/Seminyak/Canngu or south the Bukit Peninsular. ⛱☀️‍♂️

Such a beautiful hotel stayed here October 2018. Absolutely loved staying here. So relaxing, beautiful surroundings, lovely staff. Always very clean both inside & out. All rooms will be great to stay in as no where is particularly noisy to cause any disturbance. Plenty of sun loungers to relax in. Food is amazing. We also had very good free Wi-Fi all over the resort area.

We stayed here for 5 nights and they were absolutely amazing.

Location is devine, staff are so friendly and welcoming. They looked after us and our 17 month old boy.
The breakfast was ok, would be good if you mixed it up each day.
Special mention to the egg station chef. Best eggs ever. …

Hotel room was beautiful as was the two pools, catered for everyone: families and couples. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Only downside was there weren't enough staff around pools during the day or evening. Had go looking for someone to place an order of food or drinks on most occasions.

Great resort fantastic position frendly staff. BUT the Internet he no work. there are a number of different zones by the pool fine but in the room where u want it to work it keep dropping out or would not connect very frustrating if u rely on it 4 emails and social media.

We visited the Griya Santrian Resort in Bali in early June 2018 and were thrilled. All our expectations were far exceeded. First we got a free room upgrade (WOW). The Tropical Pool, in particular, did it to us. The food and service were excellent and the location of the hotel ideal just for the beginning of a round trip or when you are in Bali for the first time. The complex is beautiful and very well maintained. We had a very good time there and are guaranteed to come back! An Absolute Recommendation!

We dined as walk in guests from the beach front. The food was OK but nothing special but the service was fairly poor. There were very few customers but the staff made no effort to accommodate our family of 4.

An absolutely stunning beachfront resort & spa in the most gorgeous & relaxing part of Bali. The most wonderful helpful & friendly staff who can't do enough to make your stay perfect. We can't wait to stay with you again!

Beautiful view, but dull service and a runaway dachshund, buy food for 300.000 rue, the score is brought to 350.000 rue. And they say it's a dachshund. Nonsense.

Loved everything about my stay here. The grounds are beautifully kept, garden room was huge, clean and relaxing. Loved how close it is to the beach. Staff are friendly and polite. Food delicious. Felt like a 5 star resort. Highly recommended.

Actually a very nice well kept hotel complex. The bathroom was OK, could have been cleaner. Service was also OK, but not outstanding. Küuhlschrank was also very annoying with us, so I put it off every night. We have probably been a bit too pampered in Bali and had previously made better value for money experience. At the doors to the room and balcony we took a long time to hit the head. So beware of entry from 1, 70m;)

Very tastefully decorated rooms. Hotel is inspired by the traditional style and the grounds are really beautiful. Breakfast was excellent!
Beach is very clean, however the water at low tide is only about 30 cm high and not suitable for bathing. There are several great pools for this time. Recommended!

The hotel is located right on the beach of Sanur with a direct view of the volcano Agung. The beach in front of the hotel is reserved for hotel guests. "Fremdgänger" are politely made aware of it.
The hotel is wonderfully small, about 120 rooms, which promises perfect rest.
There are three pools, no wrangling for sunbeds and — which is wonderfully soothing — also no with-the-towel Liegenreservierer.
The late riser fits perfectly. The service is excellent, the food fresh and extremely tasty, the cocktails delicious.
Definitely a recommendation.

This our 9th time to griya always tranquil staff are wonderful and a great location in sanur.

Hotel is clean and located right on the beach. However, there are different categories of rooms, very simple to very modern. In the vicinity there are great restaurants within walking distance.

Pleasant environment, both in terms of the level of comfort and facilities available, big swimming pool, table tennis, soccer game, situated on the beach front, decent breakfast generally good quality food, friendly staff.

We had lunch here, but stayed next door at Besakih Hotel. The food are really delicious. We had Pizza and the Gado-Gado is highly recommended. The prices are so fair. You can sit right up to the beach front and view Lembongan Island in the distance. Certainly, an unforgettable experience.

Very friendly staff. The rooms are clean and quiet, the restaurant offers good food and the breakfast buffet is large and plentiful. What could be improved: the lighting to the rooms — in the rainy season in the evening after a shower, you can see the deep puddles too little. Even if the water flows off relatively quickly, it is relatively uncomfortable. The latest date for the spa area is 18.00 o'clock, a pity that it is no longer possible. Nevertheless, at any time gladly again.

The beach side is beautiful and romantic. There is always great music event happening there. Particularly Jazz and art exhibition.

One of the older resorts in Bali this resort has been around for almost 45 years. Some of the rooms are a bit old but the bathrooms were recently renovated and very clean. The great pools — one practically on the beach with a bar. Really lovely garden and friendly staff. Well located in Samuel.

We liked a lot of pensioners, not surfers.

We flight for 16 houres to come to the Griya Santrian. We stayed now for 4 days here (11 to go) and I have to say that the staf is very nice for us. Everyday a nice smile, no question is to match to ask. It's a good hotel to stay and to eat. The rooms are big enough. The clean it everyday. There's a lovely garden thats looks like if je where at the jungle. And they nurses the flowers good. I say; you must see it yourself to believe it.

This is an older hotel in Bali, on the tourist strip. There's a nice boardwalk in front that traverses a number of other hotels in various states of repair, some private residences, some funky cool restaurants, divey tourist bars full of drunk Aussies, etc. I get the impression that this is an older tourist area that might be coming full circle. The Griya Santriana seems like the nicest hotel in the neighborhood. Well maintained, beautiful grounds, friendly staff, nice pools, good restaurants. There are also a number of restaurants nearby, including an outstanding Italian place. I would totally come back here.

I'm just going to count everything that comes to my mind. For everyone, the weighting of the points is of course different, with me there are 3 stars due to my personal weight.
Positive:
— Clean rooms
— Maintained plant
— Good air conditioning
— Large selection of breakfast buffets
— Direct Beach Location
— 2 Good restaurants
— Dinner directly on the beach with live music
— Nice staff
— Central location (restaurants, bars and grocery stores nearby)
Negative:
— Noisy fridge in the room
— pools may only be used until 6pm
— The service at the middle pool is often not there and arrives at the 17th of 8pm to close the bar
— At the beach pool, the first sun beds and umbrellas are already covered from 5 o'clock, although it will not close until 6pm and the guests would like to bathe
— Too little lying with umbrella on the beach
— The beach is full of stones and algae, offering only coarse beach sand (but the hotel can do nothing)
— Thin walls. You can listen to your neighbors ' conversations
— Extremely slow internet (around the 360kbit/s)
— boring cocktails at the bar
— Watch TV instead of music at the bar
My conclusion:
The recession "an average tourist hotel" fits my personal view exactly.

We have stayed at Griya Santrian many times and keep coming back. We book a deluxe room on the second level overlooking the middle Tropical pool. The rooms are spacious, well maintained, clean and comfortable.
Check in is always easy and you are made to feel welcome. The grounds of Griya are beautifully maintained and cared for.
With the help of Ayu at Griya I planned a surprise romantic dinner on the beach for my husbands birthday. It was a spectacular location and decorated beautifully. The meal was a five course exquisite meal. We were looked after throughout our meal by Agung. She was friendly, attentive and had a lovely sense of humour. It was a truly memorable evening. Thank you Ayu and Agung. We cannot recommend Griya highly enough and look forward to our next stay. Thank you to all the staff at Griya and can't wait to see you next time.

Good rooms and nice breakfast. The bathroom could have been a bit better cleaned.

Nice hotel with beatiful pool and beach access. Outside main season it is quite peaceful and relaxing.

Very relaxing place, however the rooms are rather small and mostly fit for 2 persons, and the soundproofing isn't too good either. Apart from that a great place to stay on Bali very close to the beach with towel services.

Worst maintenance and staff is not kind and they can't speak English It's my first worst experience in Bali I would not like to recommend this hotel I paid 4M IDR for 2 nights, I think any hotels or resorts would be better choice than this hotel.

Staffs are very friendly and the pool bar is awesome!

The team of the resort is very nice, polite and friendly. We feel very welcome and very well served at any time and advice. Our room is spacious and there is sufficient bursts. Room service is impeccable and very clean. The pools, the beach is very clean and well kept. There's a good breakfast buffet. You can rent bicycles free and so the environment. Wonderfully relaxing massages can be obtained at a fair price. We are very happy that we have chosen for this resort. There are bus lines to get to know country and people, or you can reach an agreement with a private driver.

Can you only empfelhlen very quiet very beautiful evening in Jose Fabian it is not noisy as in Kuta, we drive 15 years then maybe not to much advertising otherwise will Griya santrin and Sanur to the fairground.
