Excellent restaurant. Price was great, food and service was exceptional. It may be hard to get a table during dining ours so I'd recommend to call in for reservation. Love the ambient (feels like Ubud) and the great and slowly playing music in the background. The garden was so pretty during the night (and might be during the day as well). Although only a short distance to the center of nightlife, the restaurant was very quiet and tranquil. Loved it and certainly will come back.

Hiding down the alley just inside a small gated entrance is a beautiful garden escape. Poppies pina coladas were worth it just for the pictures taken of the hand carved coconut faces. Food was good but not extraordinary. Higher priced for most of our meals in Bali but very pleasant when you want to escape the hustle and bustle. I would visit there again.

Beautiful exotic ambiance in the evening. Would be perfect for a romantic dinner. I ordered a traditional Indonesian fish dish which was absolutely delicious and flavours so fresh. Service was great. I came here with kids but it's not really great for kids as it is quiet and kids were making a bit of noise. Really enjoyed it though!

Just a great experience, great food, great atmosphere, friendly staff. Perfect for family as we had the curry which was of high quality and the kids can have more western meal like cheese burger. Thank you Poppies we will be back!

Poor effort on the food Ordered spring rolls and local noodle dish with shrimp. Said same time would be fine. Spring rolls came out 10 mins AFTER the main? Spring rolls average. Main had ONE small shrimp in total? Shocker.! Mentioned to waitress but too much of a language barrier to take it further. Time to cut my loses. Had a nice outdoor setting. Have no idea why so highly rated. Would not come back and disappointing last meal in Bali.

Beautiful restaurant in a lush garden setting. The menu offers typically Balinese cuisine and also some typical western dishes. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Definitely one of the best restaurants we visited in Kuta.

Seems like a tourist place, but the food is still very special and loved the vibe. Interesting menu with Balinese theme. Could get attacked by mosquitoes but they have repellents. Great for family, friends and couples.

Great place I love to discover.

Situated in a garden along the side of the many side streets in Kuta. You could easily miss it. Never knew of the gem until we walked in there by accident. Ambience is to my liking. Laid back and relaxed. Service and food was good too.

I'm full just thinking about this restaurant. Great choice for affordable fine dining, with unique cocktails and gourmet take on local food. Amazing homemade desserts such as apple pie or mango cheesecake with fresh fruit. Great place for a special occasion or last night in Bali. But no car access to street — walk or motorbike, or stop taxi at nearby intersection.

We had a romantic dinner here. Very nice setting and super quiet although in the middle of Kuta. Very good food and the flavors were well balanced! Prices are a bit over the backpackers budged but for Kuta still moderate. I would definitely go again!

Do yourself this favour and order their Indonesia Variety dish, if provides a culinary experience bar nine. You get to sample all that Bali has to offer in terms of Food. It's not just tasty but delightful on the eye. All of this while you are in an enchanted garden surrounds… wow a must when visiting Bali.

An open-air restaurant in the small streets of Kuta, an unlikely place! Quality Service and delicious dishes all in a romantic ambience… correct prices!

Great setting and good food … Wish they took a page out of other restaurants and stopped charging foreigners tax … and reduce their service fees.

A peaceful oasis in the hustle and bustle of downtown Kuta, Poppies is a fantastic place to escape the intensity and madness of the shopping district and relax in a quiet garden setting with fantastic food. The staff are friendly, the service fantastic, and the food was absolutely delicious. Thoroughly recommend the sushimi platter, sesame crusted tuna steak, and the dark chocolate cake!

Well, I have read the review that said is very good place for eat so I went there with high expectation but the true is the foods are just fine. You can find Indonesian foods that taste better in other place in Bali. The pina colada served with big creative coconut is nice but the taste of the drinks is so normal.

6*. One of the best places we've been. Don't leave Bali without having a meal here! You won't regret. I promise.

This is a nice place to enjoy some local food. The food is better than average but the ambience and helpful staff makes it a pleasant experience. Expect to pay about 200.000 per person.

Came here for breakfast. It was well executed. The setting was beautiful, nice lush greenery, beautiful vines. The only qualm I had was the service staff was in full view of the guests while sitting and chatting amongst themselves while getting service ready for the rest of the day. There should be a better spot for this right? Without that, it will be an excellent place for breakfast, nice and quiet with beautiful shady vines.
