It was good and we were in the hotel two weeks and very convenient for everything. Which is shopping beach etc. And had a issue with the internet not all the times. Can't complain with the price and we happy to go there again.

I have a great stay here, a lot of attractions. Near kuta beach and only one kilometers away from jogger. The room is nice and the pool is decent. Maybe I'll visit this place again in the future. It's also a foot step away from kuta square.

The hotel was very nice and very cheap.
Apart from the room and maintenance staff, no politeness. The staff at the front desk don't talk to you for much as money. No Hello, no thanks, no goodbye.
The breakfast is to flee, one has the vague impression of being served by the remains of the previous days (trace of ketchup sauce for example in the dishes prepared nature…), roaches on the walls and tapestries just above the dishes. Not very ragweed.
Disastrous Wi-Fi connection that only works every 10 minutes.
The bar in the pool is abandoned. The spa service seems to be non-existent.
The pool is just disgusting with missing and dirty tiles. No towels provided for the pool.
Dangerous electrical outlets in the rooms and bathrooms (which overlook the shower).
I think I can write a few more lines, but I prefer to stop there and let you surprise in case of reservation…

Good hotel. Ok food. Good swimming pool. Conveniently located close to the airport restaurants and entertainment…

One of the worst hotel in kuta bali. Ultimately we changed the hotel. They don't have the proper bed and facilities in the room. Even there staffs are very rude and they didn't treat customers proper way. Better to avoid this one and go for any other three star hotels. They will serve better than this hotel and staffs.

This is an okay hotel, not too expensive, but well kept and the staff is friendly and professional. The swimming pool could use an upgrade, I cut my finger in the pool. All in all I would recommend this place, especially if you're on a budget.

The only problem we had the days we stayed was with the Wifi which never worked out in a good way.

For the Asian standards really good, of course it is not like a Australian or west Europe hotel. The pool area is clean and very nice and our room was clean as well. The bed is really comfortable! The bathroom was okay but smelled bad (cleaning products). Our fridge didn't work. Wi-Fi everywhere and a welcome drink. Staff friendly, sometimes trouble with English but okay. The breakfast is typical, taste good and it is enough. For this price absolutely okay!

A disaster, what is offered here to guests as deluxe rooms. Main thing they get the money quickly, preferably still cash, and if you pay with credit card still 3% on it. I refused and let the boss come and all of a sudden it went. Staff are unkind, we had to change rooms 2 times because it just wasn't habitable. Now we have rooms on a noisy road, really not delux. View into the garden ok. Unfortunately not recommended.

For me personally the outside looks amazing Lush and green but the inside was a bit outdated and dingy. I did enjoy their breakfast each morning they always had fresh fruit freshly squeezed juice toast and then some type of rice some type of noodle with either chicken or tofu and then a dessert such as pancakes. The place is in a good location it's strange because. The back entrance which is in alleyway is where the street bakung sari is so are taxi driver was always confused and it got annoying after awhile. Also the hotel does have a personal taxi driver and I did go with him to do a private tour. I wasn't too impressed with his attitude. It was more of a commission tour and he took me to places I told him I didn't want to go but after we cleared the air it was fine. So if you do decide to use their driver just make sure you tell him exactly where you want to go and what you want to see he charges about $60

The place is not bad… A lot of people aged. I wouldn't be back.

Hotel is quaint old style 80's Bali, actually enjoyed balcony rooms. Friends booked on line, ended up witha box. The restaurant staff and food great. Reception a sad disaster! Agree on one thing, take deposits, change mind in morning. 2/10 for customer service this area.

Its an ok ok hotel. Plus point is that its near to all the tourist places in Kuta.

Beautiful Balinese and affordable hotel. Deluxe rooms have been newly renovated in 2015 and at a price of $20 with breakfast, balcony, pool, refrigerator and AC you can't live in the category any cheaper.

Good hotel in the middle of town. Hotel is in reasonable condition but it's not the fanciest hotel in town but worth it for the location. Minutes away from tons of restaurants, shops, etc. Pool is wonderful on a hot day. Spa is priced higher than most around but it looks nicer. Free breakfast is nice. The restaurant at the hotel is okay but I'd recommend walking 5min to dozens of other restaurants. Overall a great hotel for the price.

An older style hotel with rooms spread around the pool in 3, 3 storey blocks. For its age, the rooms are in reasonable repair the bathrooms being the weak point. Hot Water and AC are good, plenty of English language TV channels and each room has a desk and small refrigerator. The patios look into a nice garden setting. Breakfast is buffet style with eggs to order. Restaurant also serves good meals at reasonable prices. Away from the night life area and at least a 12 to 15 minute walk to the beach. Local eating options just outside the main entrance.

Room is basic as expected for what we paid. Pool area is very nice and relaxing. Food is okay, reception however, needs improving. Also cleaners tend to enter room without knocking and also when we are gone after telling them not to make up our room and then leave without relocking the door. Only when the 'do not disturb' sign was displayed was our room left alone.

This hotel is value for money when you holiday on kuta. It's near from kuta beach.

Second time at bukung sari. I love it as a sole female traveller I feel safe an the staff are like family. Older style. Clean friendly. Can walk everywhere my only wish is for a personal safe in the room an tea and coffee facilities. But staff a more then willing to room deliver any beverages, Its really a hidden gem an the dinners are outstanding.

This was welcome accommodation after my experience with a booking in Denpasar. It is old style bali. Clean comfortable rooms. Cheap. Beautiful grounds. It is basic but I am a no frills person. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. Nice pool. I could walk everywhere I needed to. Walk to Kuta beach. Have stayed here before this and would stay again. Highly recommend.

Stay for 3 nights in Kuta… Excellent value for money! The staff is nice and helpful! Any request is populated with success… The beach is not far away! I would highly recommend.

It was great the pool wasn't freezing it was nice and I recamend. It has wonderful breakfast, massages and food plus the rooms are great.

Couldn't ask for a better hotel to stay. Has the essence of bali.

Best Place to stay I strongly recomment Bakungsari Hotel to my Australians.

Sadly there is no "value for money" in the ratings which would get a 3 for me. This place is very good for travelers on tight budget. The cheapest superior room options are among the older rooms and maybe smelly of mothballs and the bathrooms may not be sparkling clean but Ive seen lot worse than this in other places. On the plus side, superior rooms have balconies with poolside view. If yout got a few extra bucks to spare get the renovated deluxe rooms which are way cleaner though some of them may not have balconies.
