Nice hotel located in green environments in Matheran. Hotel rooms are spacious. Service is good. Food quality is awesome. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is served with excellent taste. One of the best food services in Matheran. Swimming pool is good. Outside sitting swing is good. Best place for Groups and families. Ashok Hotel is amidst Nature and so you get a feel of isolation and Purity from the busy schedule of the Cities. The Rooms here are well furnished and clean and also very spacious. Talking about food you will not get better food anywhere else than in Ashok Hotel. Food is Very Delicious and Mouth Watering. They serve a complete Dish everytime. The Room Service is also very Satisfactory and it is available 24×7. At a place where no vehicles are allowed to enter we get such Service which you can not think of. The Points to Visit are also very close to the Hotel.

Since there's no motor vehicles allowed in Matheran, going to this place might be a long and tiring walk. But once you reach here, the place is nice. One of the oldest hotel in Matheran but had enough renovation work. Food is awesome. Many people coming here for their yummy food servings. Rooms are spacious.

You can choose from a range of hostels here. We stayed at Ashok Hostel. Ashok hotel has a huge space and and provides various room space option. Popular ones being the a dormatries. They have upto 7-10 beds In a room We took an entire cottage which is right opposite the pool and it accommodated around 40 people in different rooms. They also have various money jumping around the place. The pool is about 5ft and is clean and chilly if your going here the monsoon, but it's a complete thrilling experience. The space also has kids playing slides. The hotel is complete veg and breakfast, lunch and dinner is served. Evening they serve only tea and no snacks so do take your extra snacks along. The food is good enough. The staff is helpful and will assist with your needs. You can play your own music and carry your drinks too. Overall worth it.

It's a pure vegetarian hotel but my God their food is so dammn tasty. They have normal size swimming pool. We stayed in room with 4 double sized beds. It's cheap and I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Good place for family perfect for weekend getaway friends group should visit on their own risk no police or any sort of hospitals available nearby otherwise a good place for having fun.

Very nice food and stay for veg family stays. Is a bit far from station but gujjus will definately love it for food. Well fed in the price they charged. Cant expect more.

Nice place. Nice food. They serve only vegetarian food. Rooms are spacious. But I'll maintained. There are some games and swimming pool is available. I found that table tennis bats and table are broken, badminton shuttle cock was not available. Carrom board was very old and in bad condition. Apart from that there are lot of monkeys. Monkey keep on creating troubles to tourists. Some monkeys even attacked few women and kids. The restaurant management should do something for safety of tourists.

An average resort with poor maintenance. Food is tailor made for Gujarati community. Rates are high compared to facilities provided. No value for money. Located approx 1 km away from the market, it offers a quiet stay. Swimming pool is there but not cleaned regularly.

Vry spacious play area… Food is delicious… My second home management is vry friendly n supportive… Enjoying activities like swimming pool, dj, most exciting camp fire.
