The property is very beautiful. So I was at Le Merdian Mahableshwar recently. I had booked the room almost 2 months in advance. It was my girlfriends birthday and I was also going to propose her that evening. So I obviously informed them about my plans and asked them to make the arrangements (Chargeable). I was told that they will be decorating the room before I propose which included bed, bath tub, half kg cake and a rose bouquet (which is important while proposing). I called them 2 days before to make sure all the arrangements are in place and I was assured that everything is in place. And I went to room all ready to propose and I see there were no flowers and I had to do that without a single rose. Even the bath tub was not decorated. So if you are looking for something important to celebrate or plan something special then Le Meridian is not the place. Although the decoration charges were waived off, a life time memory was compromised. I didn't expected this here and was really disappointed.

One of the best resorts I've been to in years, very beautiful, the staff is courteous and amazingly polite. The resort is vehicle free and with 20+ acres of forest area, its beautiful and green all around. The breakfast and meals buffet is wide spread. It's recommended to take all meals at the Resort if the stay is for more then 2 nights.

Not worth the money. Property is huge but due to rainy season it wasn't well managed. In pictures it looks really beautiful but in reality it is not so beautiful. We booked the classic forest room for our marriage anniversary. After checking in to the room we realised that the room had absolutely no view at all. I then requested front desk for a room with a view Inspite of being a Monday I was told that rooms are all full. Next day during breakfast there were not many people, hence all rooms were not full. My small request would have brighten up my wife's face. But alas, even after shelling out so much of money my small request couldn't be fulfilled.

Very warm staff, courteous and available for every request. Food taste can be better. Rooms are lovely. Overall a very good experience in a wonderful property!

It is a lovely and must visit place. The hospitality of the staff is matchless. They make sure that your stay is a memorable one. The resort is at a very serene place in the midst of forest. We Had a memorable time here.

One the best holiday experience ever, resort is perfect staff so warm and helpful. GM Mr Rishi was so welcoming and made us feel special. Kids just loved the place. Family Recreation center was awesome as kids had their own jungle trek, cake decoration etc. Best place, visiting back very soon :)

LeMeridien Mahabaleshwar is one fantastic property. Sincerely a heaven specifically in early monsoon and winter. The rooms are very well placed to maintain peace and privacy. Room size is pretty nice. I tried food at 'Chingari' restaurant, it's tasty… but seems overall F&B is good. What I loved most is a heated swimming pool on SPA roof. It was fun having a swim in temperature controlled water amongst clouds. Overall a pleasant experience. Definitely Recommended.

It's a great resort to chill for a weekend. As that's good if you want to plunge into their infinity pool with great view. But it was packed with guest when I visited them and primarily families. Wouldn't recommend for a couple or for solo travelers though. They really need to get their dishes clean though. Almost every plate had stains in both breakfast and dinner buffet.

It's beautiful place to stay with spectacular views and amenities. Strongly recommend. The food there is awesome and ex. Chef make sure their guests enjoying the vast spread. There's good place for kids entertainment. Plus they do have paid activities for kids. Having said that and after giving 5 * I would say a little faster in room house keeping service would have been there… Apart from it nothing to point out.

Superb ambience created by more than 10 k trees around the villas make this place unique… The jungle experience along with chirping birds take you in different dimension. Restaurants are good and service is polite, polished and prompt. Food options are good. Various adventure activities keep u busy and entertained… proximity to market is an added advantage…

Some place! They have a sprawling campus of several acres. Great many number of trees and a nice natural habitat. Once you are there, you probably won't want to go out in Mahabaleshwar town. Many activities inside their campus like horse riding, treks, pool tables, swimming pools and nice restaurants. Service is super… anywhere you need to go, take buggy — a kind of golf cart. And most importantly, amazing food. An experience worth trying.

Superb facilities… Great villas… Scenic… Great architecture… Excellent conference rooms… Good food… No connectivity but no problems… Near to market… Great service by staff … Value for money… In all, 100/100… Wi-Fi should be complementary… Great nature's walk. .

Went there for the Saturday brunch at Latest Recipe. Property looked amazing, staff were attentive, pricing was disclosed with taxes included (hugely helpful), but the brunch in itself was hardly lavish and not what you'd expect from a five star hotel (Mahabaleshwar or otherwise). Staff went out of their way to accommodate requests but the spread just wasn't enticing enough.

One of the best properties in Mahabaleshwar. Nice and secluded from the hustle and bustle of the market area. The service and staff is courteous. Beautiful architecture of the hotel. Well maintained landscaped gardens.

Spent the 2018 Republic Day long weekend here. We're a family of four — booked a forest view Tranquility suite and a valley view Classic room. The rooms are outstanding, which is expected from a luxury resort and for the price you pay, which is a little too steep. But what is really impressive is the ambience in the resort — you're in the midst of nature with trees all along the path rom the reception area to where the villas and rooms are situated. Pro tip: skip the buggy and walk it, you'll not regret it. The valley view is spectacular and I personally preferred it to the forest view. Breakfast spread is decent while the staff is really courteous and polite — every one of them will greet you with a smile when you pass by them — it's these little things that matter. There's a standard pool and an infinity pool and other activities that can keep you busy in case you don't want to venture out. All in all, it's a very easy recommendation. Considering what you pay, makes sense to come here for a special occasion like your anniversary or milestone birthday.

Amazing place to stay with family. Set amidst a lovely forest setting… walking track all around the place… Excellent spread in morning buffets. What not! Worth every penny.

Superb property, comfortable rooms and lots of greenery but this is only as it new and there are already signs or deterioration. Lots of entertainment for kids and lovey resort to walk around but the Club cars take forever to arrive which makes moving around the resort hard. Overall the property is superb but the service is average.

Best resort in Mahabaleshwar. Would rate higher than Brightland and Keys. We went there on our anniversary and they decorated the room beautifully. Rooms are really awesome. Food is great. Breakfast has nice options. Heated swimming pool is just amazing. Service is prompt and staff is nice.

Excellent 5 star hotel. Very courteous, professional and polite staff. In the moddle of lush green forest. Has Heated swimming pool — The Infinity Pool. Has childrens play area and many activities. Neat and clean spacious rooms with bathtub and 24hrs hot water. Free delicious breakfast. Highly recommended. Worth every rupee.

View from the rooms are fantastic. Breakfast buffet is complete. Hospitality is great.

We reached this hotel just by chance. We were not meant to stay here. But did end up staying here. When you get to stay in a place this it must be considered a privilege that the universe has granted you. Kudos to the owners and the architects who put this together. Fabulous attention has been paid to design detail. And we were lucky to get a room at a point from where we could only see the forest around. Such amazing views. The team is of course fantastic, but then again that is to be expected from a property like this. Well we have loved being here. Nageshwar in the F&B team is a real asset. And overall the team run by Abhishek is fabulous.

Best n quick service. Spellbinding view amidst the forest. Plenty of things to do not just for adults but for kids too. They had a schedule for an entire day for family games and there was a separate play room for kids. The only thing good about the infinity pool is that it s temperature controlled otherwise its shallow, small and not-so-infinite. The food is delicious. They keep a huge ariety for Breakfast. We had our dinner at the woods forest restaurant where all the tables get privacy and their own small bonfire that's really romantic. They also had a duo of musicians who played an anniversary spacial a song for us. What else u want. Overall a very good experience and a wonderful memorable stay.

Located in the beautiful Mahabaleshwar. Place is really well maintained. The infinity pool is really the draw of the property.

It's an awesome place. But too spread out for convenience. Going from room to dining to swimming pool to recreation centre. Is a chore… But the heated pool is awesome specially during winters.

Property is nice! Room is good! Food is also very good! But room service is too much delay! For any requiremert they r served in more then half an hour! Managment should keep attention of his horreble room service! When service issue will solved then its one of rhe best family resort in forest views and for every kind of views!

Located very close to the main Mahabaleshwar market, yet so secluded. A very pleasant experience and the staff is very polite. The aminities in the resort are amazing and my overall stay experience was awesome.

Brilliant experience everytime I'm here. While I agree it's on the expensive side, the location, rooms and staff do an absolute fantastic job through your stay. The rooms are well laid out with your balcony view overlooking the forest. Had dinner at the Indian Restaurant Chingary which again was a bit expensive but the food and service was great. Breakfast was free and comes with a massive spread along with live counters for eggs, pancakes and waffles apart from south indian options. Nice touch with a snack box on checkout to get through your journey back home. Overall a great experience!

Next and what for me is the best "feature" of this place is how it is one with the forest. It is one of the few places I've seen where the place, villas and roads within were all built around the forest/trees rather than vice-versa. You will find branches right en route to your villa and instead of chopping down the branch like almost every other place would they just padded the branch area and you have to make sure you don't hit it. I loved that. They have a temperature controlled "infinity" pool but it's not really that since the greenery around the pool is pretty ever present (which for me is a good thing). They do have loads of activities not just for adults but for kids as well. The only real negative I'd say was the food to price ratio. The food (lunch and dinner) doesn't really compliment the place. It's pretty expensive (just like the place is) without being awe inspiring. But that being said, the breakfast totally makes up for it! Now I'm one of those people who on their trips looks for budget places to stay over, so for me paying 15k (with GST) for a night (breakfast included) was a really big deal. But you know what; I loved it! And it is something I'd recommend you to do at least once. All in all, an excellent place to unwind! Special mention to (Rishi; GM of this place and Sujoy).

Just went in for a coffee… It was late in the evening. The mist was coming down… The wet stone pavements, the smoky lights, the mild drizzle… It was mesmerising…

Awesome villas and scenery with very rainy weather. There is also a kid zone where kids (and even adults) can play with a separate area for things like indoor games (example : table tennis, chess, carrom), gym, swimming, etc called recreation wing. Food is nice overall in my opinion but there are some negatives such as delay in transportation because you have to call a buggy first and wait for another 25 to 30 minutes but overall, a nice resort.

Good place and hospitality. Brilliant infinity swimming pool. Only problem is to get a ride from your room to anywhere in the resort which takes a lot of time. But still a place worth visiting. Bit expensive though as compared to the rooms offered.

I am a platinum member of the Marriott group and when they took over SPG, I was excited about the fleet of hotels thay were added to the lot. I had booked for a valley view room using my Marriott points and I was pleasantly surprised when the room was upgraded to a Sanctuary room. The room (you could call it an apartment) was amazing! And the room from the huge balcony was to die for. The hotel itself is built amidst forest and that adds to the charm of the hotel. For traveling within the big premises of the hotel they provide a buggy service. The food in 'Latest recipe', their multicuisine restaurant was superb. I felt it was on a costlier end though. I was surprised again as they had arranged a birthday cake for me after dinner. All the staff members that we interacted with throughout the stay were very warm and helpful. I couldn't have asked for a better birthday experience.

It's a 5 star property but I am giving 4 due to comparatively small rooms and prices in the higher side comparing value for money equation. Though overall it was a great stay with lots of greenery. They have free parking place and complimentary breakfast. While the property is stunning with pool, villa rooms, kids club, bar, multi cuisine restaurant and forest view rooms. Service staff are good. I can't recommend this property only due high prices but if budget is not an issue then anyone can stay there.

I loved this place. I had booked in advance and got decent rates for a weekend, rooms were pretty spacious. Food was ok, I liked the vanilla eclair that they were serving. Buggy was taking time to come but you could also walk. Infinity pool is just awesome. So is the family club activities.

It was a pathetic experience. They are so slow and we booked valley view and the next day the room was not available so they shifted to forest view rooms. It was ok. But as per their services and other things many things are missing Calling buggy is hell. It takes half hr for them to come as they have multiple buggies still they take more time And a note for airtel people. No network. Only vodafone is good here I am not coming to his hotel again. The staff is not helpful either.

Bad experience. Stayed with my family for three days had very bad experience with the staff, bad and unhygenic food, when my son got food poisoning the hotel called their doctor for which I had to pay. Last not the least since I forgot my neck rest and mobile charger, despite repeated calls, emails now one week they are still promising to courier me my belongings but has not send me yet. instead choose key resorts which is one of the best hotel in mahabaleshwar.

This Property Is Not Situated In Any City Or Town Whr We Can Easily Reach The Hotel. Its Newly Opened n Its On A Hill Station Whr There Is Always A Problem Of Mobile Networks. It Took Us 1hr To Reach The Hotel From Mahableshwar Market Due To No Sign Boards n Wrong Directions Given By The Locals. Finally Wen We Reachd We Were Treated In Very Unprofessional Way. We Were Not Happy Wid The Staff At The Reception. Wid No 2nd Thot We Left The Property Widout Checking In. Keys Resort, Bright Lands, Ramsukhs r Much Better Hotels Then This Le Meridian Humbug!

Great place and lovely ambience.

Overall nice hotel, but guest be noted that the rooms which are said valley view are only for name as told by one of the staff at the reception they are just a standard you can't view valley from the rooms, I myself stayed in these rooms and got the same experience.
