Just returning back from this hotel. Couldn't stop myself from writing. It's the best resort to stay and have never come across such a beautiful place. It has its own private beach and a calm place to spend your holiday with family. The restaurant has got the best delicacies to serve. The staff is really very polite and helpful. Thanks Sandalwood for making my trip more beautiful than expected.

Good one but no lift facility in multiple storied building rooms. Other than this everything is fine.

Food was great. But located at low area, network connection was major issue. Wifi was not strong enough. Rooms are spacious and clean. Friendly staff, quick service. They gave me rooms before booking timings.

Stayed here with my parents for two days. I will definitely call it a bad stay! Room and bathroom weren't properly cleaned. The reception was slow so was housekeeping. Complementary breakfast wasn't good either and had too less options. Most of the staff felt uninterested and at times rude! The only good part is Vainguinim beach which is 2-5 minutes walk away. It is a clean and not crowded beach. It has strong waves in monsoon while calm otherwise and you can swim in it. I will recommend taking a hotel nearby (not Sandalwood) and driving to this beach as beach is open to all.

We loved the place… Very well maintained, clean property. Staffs were also very helpful… Beach is very close and a very calm and quite place. Apart from housekeeping have to force to cleaning the Room.

Room Lights give depressed as they use yellow bulbs instead of Tube light. They didn't provide any special bedding etc for your kid even then demand kids charges. Away from main roads, so you cannot move out from hotel without any cab, if you have your own vehicle or rented car then it's ok. Hotel outer area like garden, kitchen, swimming pool etc is superb may give 5star but to see the approach and hotel rooms It is not even 1star worth but combination of both makes atleast 3 star.

Nice hotel, good service levels. Very cooperative staff very close to beach, Worth a repeat stay, lot of open space, families can have a comfortable stay. Hassle free hotel. Very near to chances hotel may be a shade better than chances.

Booked this hotel on my last goa trip. The stay here was not at all comfortable. The staff is non-cooperative and rude. They do not understand the problems of the people. Commodities in the room are very old. Room service is the slowest. Better book the nearby hotels offering better services at lower prices.

One night stay before travelling on around India Room was a basic small room very dated compared to other pictures of rooms I have seen but okay for a night stay my only gripe it could have been cleaner The pool clean and a good size you can take a 2 min walk to the beach which was clean just don't wonder off the path as the security guards from the hotels by the beach will tell you off! Food was good and a quick breakfast as we left the hotel early overall nice little hotel.

Nice Hotel with good staff, housekeeping & good restaurant 5 Star, but overall 3 Star because of inside rooms feel just 2.5 star all the things let u feel hotel is 8 to 9 year old. But because of service by good staff it's running well.

It was an awesome place to stay. Very close to the beach with a private water sports operator available. No need to go to crowded and commercialized beaches. Calm, serene, neat and clean. Good food and the staff are really good and caring.

Nice play to stay, room are good and spacious, service is quite slow. Have all the amenities like swimming pool, bar, spa, singers available in lawn and main attraction is private beach, which is good for couples. Staff are very cooperative and good, they will arrange local trasportaion if you required. I stayed here 4 times.

Sandalwood was a good hotel but as all tourist places, the prices are overrated and the staff not so great. You have to be a little pushy to get anything. The beach was a disappointment because the website says it's on site but you have to walk a bit and the beach was a bit dirty. For the price the rooms aren't the best but it's not a bad hotel.

Nice hotel. Very clean and facilities are adequate. Service is slow. Some staff struggle with language but all try to be helpful. Only downside is remoteness of location. Taxis needed for any trip out. Shared beach with sunbeds. Entertainment limited.

Superb location. Nice arrangements. This is a 4star quality hotel. It has lawn, sweaming pool. Bar, spa facilities. At night may some local singer will come to the lawn, will play guitar, will sing a song for you only as well as for all.

Very nice place to stay. Spacious rooms, clean and neat. Staff is always helpful. They are also familiar with the local information. There is a separate private travel agent available. Vicinity to the beach which is also a private beach. The views are very nice especially the sunset.

The rooms are nice, clean and comfortable although a bit small. But their customer service is really excellent! Highly recommend it for a quick cheap stay, they'll make you feel like royalty.

Loved the property. Staff is very cordial and supportive. Authentic Goan food. But if you are looking for North Indian food than have it outside.

Rooms are small. Doesn't feel like 21 m2. Breakfast have good options but taste is ok. Location is very good. 1 min away from beach. Mobile network has issues due to lower altitude. The Wi-Fi is very poor. Overall the property is good.

Enjoyed the facilities. Room living space and interior well done. Arrangements to take care of 90 people in our BVB Engg College annual meet for 2 days stay was fantastic. Very friendly staff and went out of their way to help. We found beach bit small and maintenance is required to keep it clean so that early morning walk to beach is much more pleasant. Food was OK. Venue to conduct the Karaoke and dance was superb and conveniently located. Swimming pool water level needs to be increased and periodic water filtration will add more value to overall ambience. Would stay there again.

Food was good. Overall place was good. Having beach very near by (walking distance) is a plus point. According to that recommended location. Calm beach with serene atmosphere. Overall recommended.

A good Place to book for family. Swimming pool is no more then 4.5 feet. Breakfast was okay from my side. But accommodation was perfect. Good Staff and Clean Rooms. Have good location that feel calm. And Musical Dinner is so Romantic if you are couple.

Good hotel located near quite beach. Suitably priced for the amenities, services and ambience provided. Place has a good swimming pool and garden with performances/music at night which makes you want to spend more time at the hotel and relax. Highly recommended for family getaway.

I don't recommend for family but fine for business travelers or someone who just want to relax. Although near to beach but you need to cross few private properties to reach there. Also that beach is alone with only few visitors. Another thing happened while we was there is entire staff was busy with some big group of fashion show. And no one cares about us frankly just ignored.

We enjoy lot. Its worth for money. Feel like on Private Vainguinim Beach. Must visit hotel.

Decent & classy. Near to the beach is an add on. Good and helpful staff. Food is little expensive but taste is no bad. Breakfast is excellent, they give too many varieties keeping it all tasty. One star less because nearby is no market, for everything like even for restraunts u need to go to Panjim otherwise it is awesome.

Right From Private Beach To Pool To Free Wi-Fi (lol). Also Room Service and Location. Everything Is Quite Good. We Had Fun There. Going And Reaching To The Hotel Itself Is Nothing Less Than A Kind Of Challenge For Big Or Even Medium Sized Vehicle.

Fuddu hotel. They gave me rooms on 3rd and 4th floor yet I paid to goibibo 2 month in advance. They have no lift. I already knew it I have requested to goibibo also to sandlwood for 2 rroms on ground and 1st floor. But they give it to them who reached their without any advance or without goibibo. I think they give rooms on upper floors who come their threw goibibo. So much distance from city.

Liked everything except car rentals with so much higher price.

Location appearing on Google maps is bit incorrect. Hotel is near Manipal Hospital, Dona Paula. Hotel property is old one. No elevators. Interiors fine and clean. Food average. Service average, needs reminders. Parking space available outside hotel premises.

The hotel will appeal to those who want a comfortable, relaxing stay. For fun will have to leave.

Good, quiet resort with all the modern amenities and helpful staff.

Its superb and we can enjoy a day here itself. PS3 is available here.

Spent 4 wonderful days and loved every second! You will have to hire a driver or a bike to get around as the resort is pretty off the beaten path, but the quite beaches and friendly staff make it all worth it.
