The Taj Exotica Resort and Spa in Goa was absolutely amazing and I would recommend this place to anyone. I shall definitely visit this place again. The staff here were exceptional and exceeded our expectations. Vinay in the restaurant, Vipin in the Spa, Chef Ganesh, and Vasanti in Reception are a credit to your hotel. Very helpful and made us feel welcome. The rooms were very clean, the sights and beach area along with facilities and bar were impressive with spectacular views. The buggy service that escorted us around were very useful and helpful. Anything we wanted this hotel provided. The food was some of the best I have ever tasted. 10/10 for this hotel.

"Worst Hotel in India to stay for Any Artist" So Incident Goes Like this — I had stayed at Taj exotica few months back. The staff here is racist and Baised. The reception person Jayakshi told me when I requested for room check in that "For me Guest is important you are an artist" this is discrimination. Disrespect for the artist. In my life I have never been treated badly because I am an artist not a guest. I strongly recommend people who are planning to have their stay at this hotel to think 500 times. Its better to stay in Oyo room than this Taj exotica Hotel. I have stayed worldwide in all the hotels this is the worst experiance I ever had. " For me guest are important you are not because you are an artist. These words of Jayakshi still eco in my mind. " Even after months. They forcefully made me to delete my comment. Since I was invited by other people on their request I deleted that time so that they do not have unnecessary trouble. But I want world to know the truth. Respected and Beloved Shree Jamshedji Tata started Taj hotel when he saw discrimination towards Indians by Britishers. But now sadly their hotel itself has become epitome of discrimination. My question : how come my profession become the reason of my Late Check-in? Whereas my room payment is also equally paid to them like any other guest.?. I also request Respected Shree Ratan Tata ji to look into this matter so that their hotel should not become synonyms of discrimination.

Very beautiful property with beach just a 2 minute walk away… staff was very humble and cooperative.

Thank you Taj Exotica (Goa) for making our stay so comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience in the 54n acre property. The beach was clean and sandy. Taj Exotica has catered to the necessity of every age group. Welcomed and friendly staff Shabana who treated us like royalty especially went out of the way to make my wife’s birthday a day to remember. She is friendly and professional plus her always smiling face makes the day. There not many words to thank her in making our stay as comfortable as if we were at home away from home. She can make impossible things possible as arranging a needle to a sword. Her staff at reception also need a mention especially Anupam (the check in was a great experience, Elvin (arranged our pick up and drop off to the Airport and Ridge. The travel desk were helpful to guide us to nearby shops and place to visit / dine if we wanted to. The swimming pool staff was very helpful. Navneet Sharma / Sumesh Nair (restaurant managers) were very pleasant during any visit to any restaurant. Both of them made sure that the dinner on my wife’s birthday was most special with balloons and home made cake which was baked by Chef’s daughter. Ganesh served took special care when we went for dinner (Al cate) and was very professional. Finally, any review will not be completed if I do not mention Shabana, as she departed us with a smile and made sure that the we had comfortable journey back to the airport.

Only one word describes it 'Amazing', an experience everyone would love. The stay was relaxing with lot of fun activities in the day. The property is lush green and the sea is by the side. Had a great time enjoying yum food and doing adventure sports. The breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet spreads had a wide variety from Indian to continental dishes and is worth for the money spent… ❤❤

Majestic resort with superb hospitality. The staff are cordial and ever helpful. The buffet breakfast menu is wholesome. The restaurants give you superb fine dining experience. We specially liked the ambience of Lobster Village. The staff are eager to get on the spot feedback for food and beverages which shows their commitment for good service. We really enjoyed cycling around the perfectly landscaped property. Overall we had a pleasant stay for 3 days.

If you need to chill out, in a secure and well staffed resort, this is the one. Fabulous food, great friendly service, a magnificent long beach, and if you want it, lots to do. Second time here, back next year too! Goa at its best.

We enjoyed breakfast every morning outside on the terrace. Gaurish and Cliff do a great job looking after the customers as well as the rest of the team. Try the Feni at the bar, then stroll along the beach. A wonderful part of the world and a taste of India.

Awesome lobby and great layout with a huge green lawn made into a gold coarse dotted with hundreds of palm trees right at the Benaulim beach! Garden villas are awesome and are the ultimate in luxury! Swimming pool is God and very well maintained. You can get bycycles to roam around the property. There are a couple of pool tables too if you like to play snooker. Staff is very courteous and hospitality is top class. Food served at it's restaurants is very good though pure vegetarians might find choices very limited and menu repetitive if you stay longer than 2 days. This property is the best in entire Goa and best all other by a fair margin! My vote — Highly recommended!

We had an amazing time at Exotica. Great service and the staff really went beyond our expectations and tried to accommodate every request. They made special gluten free food for me. The breakfast is superb! The property is sprawling and the pool is great. We would definitely visit again!

We stayed for 3 nights and couldn’t fault the service. The premium villa room was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, who were always around to help whichever way they could. Leisure facilities were great and kept my 7 year old boys busy all day. Food was nice and there was a lot of variety at each meal time. Spa services were fantastic and value for money. We have travelled to many countries and many resorts but Taj Exotica is the best of the lot. We will be back for more for sure.

Excellent Property Located by the Beach. The highlight is warm and friendly staff. They make sure that all your needs are take care off The New restaurant has amazing multi cuisine food. Walk to to beach or even by the lawns and can see the sunrise and sunset.

Always a pleasure going to the property. The service with a smile, going the extra mile, to take care of special requests. The hotel in parts is renovating. What's done up has improved multiple notches too. If you love the peace and quiet head to South Goa. For the party seekers. Head North.

Great option for a monsoon Goa getaway. Lots of open area around the resort plus activities. Beach access is great (its on the beach). Quite cut off from other parts of Goa so not ideal as a base for sightseeing. The rooms are really good, as is the service. For food, there are two restaurants and quality is generally good If going in the monsoon, book a room in the main building. Easier to get to the restaurant etc when it's raining.

Great location; walking distance from the beach. The villas have a perfect view of the beach. The staff is very helpful and the service is very good too. It is a must visit for people who want to chill and relax. The food is amazing here. Overall a very good stay.

Every year during summer vacation we (along with kids) come to Goa for a few days and we book five star resorts. This year we tried Taj Exotica and the experience was amazing. After the Taj experience other resorts seemed like 3 stars. Top class Hospitality. We are planning to visit again during Diwali.

Staying here with my family excellent resort, staff well trained, friendly & accommodated. Property very well maintained through out excellent room, beautiful and huge stunning grounds, clean swimming pool & beach. My daughter is gluten free but she is not not missing any thing, special thanks to the restaurant staff and the chef, very helpful and they talked to her and prepared dishes which she really enjoyed. 100% recommended to all.

Beautiful place. Nice looking front area. Parking place is very good and very big garden also. Swimming pool also very good. All Restaurant is very good and clean. Restaurant Food quality is very good. Service is excellent and Bar service and drinks served and food served is excellent. Most importantly value for money.

Amazing staff nothing is to much trouble. Clean and well maintained rooms. Not enough sunbeds and shade on the beachfront (Gov restrictions apparently) Would not normally expect to play the 'towel game' in a resort such as this. Plenty of beachfront shacks and cheap restaurants near the front gate. Meal for 2 average price about 1, 500rp including couple of beers and spirits/mixers One other observation there is much talk in the local paper with regards to the ongoing water shortage in the area. You can understand the wish to keep the grounds etc we'll irrigated (credit to the Gardner's who do an excellent job) But is a 9 hole golf course with its huge requirements for water actually needed for the maybe 3 people that we have seen use it? Thoroughly enjoying this relaxing break.

True luxury property. Food is nice too. Stick to straight forward dishes if you want to have a good experience. Experimental or eclectic food they offer can be a bit of hit and miss. Can't go wrong with the Lobster place at the beach. Rooms and service great!

Good location, rooms. Great service and restaurant had very good service. Savio was a great help. Excellent service and very polite folks. Room beds were average. Bathrooms were okay.

Wonderful hotel. The staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough to help you. The grounds and Gardens were beautiful such a lot to look at and see whilst taking in the wall to wall sunshine. At breakfast there was so much choice and the staff were all to ready to get you anything you wanted. You can get on a bike and cycle round the grounds so you can see the beauty of the hotel. Afternoon tea, coffee, cake and ice creams were served round the pool everyday free of charge. I would definitely go to the hotel, simply magical.

We have stayed at the Taj exotica in Goa on numerous occasions. Lovely hotel, beautiful garden, superb beach and excellent staff. Everybody bends over backwards to make sure you have a great time. What has made it superb this year is the arrival of a new Head Chef. The food is now excellent.

Amazing place, the best hospitality that Goa can offer. Great staff, delicious food and the setup is just great. They have kids activities as well so all can be enagaged. Also, similar to other Taj properties, they do offer customized kid meals if you have any special requirements. The beach is clean and well maintained with no strays and has white sand. The Lobster Village is just adjacent to the beach, dont miss an evening tea while you watch the sun set. All in all, a great place for family vacation and would recommend everyone to visit this place.

The only set back was the in-house buffet, they lack options and overpriced for strictly mediocre food. Barring that it was a great experience.

Located at an exotic location, its name suits it and is apt… the lobster shack is located next to the sea beach and you can order the catch of the day there… Food is a bit expensive as compared to other taj menus but if you are going to Taj, do u really care… The preparation is awesome and so is the ambience.

Beautiful place spread across acres and acres of land. Includes a golf course, football field and lots of lawn spaces. Pool also is huge. Food is great and service top notch Taj style. The private beaches make it such a pleasure to be away from the crowded beaches of Goa. Overall an amazing place to be. If you need to experience Goa without the noise of the overcrowded beaches and enjoy a leisurely holiday, this is the place to be.

We spent an amazing 4 days there as a couple. My partner couldn’t decide whether to call it Paradise or Heaven which gives you a sense of how magnificent this place is. Sunsets were breathtaking. You have so much space — it is like your own personal estate. We stayed in a villa — newly refurbished & stunning. Super king bed super comfy — bathroom beautiful and fabulous soaks in the tub prior to dinner. Expect regular but short lived power cuts! Nit-picking — if I had any observations for improvement they’d be as follows: Really limited and incredibly expensive selection of wines. If you are a beer drinker you are laughing! Not enough toilets close enough to the pool / grass area. No gin in the minibar On one occasion we saw a senior member of staff verbally reprimand (humiliate a junior waiter) — excruciating to watch and almost made this 4 stars.

A gorgeous hotel, very green. The room was spacious and clean, the breakfast was lovely. Went there during the monsoon and enjoyed the stay despite the rains.

Great property, courteous staff and yummy food. The only thing is that some of the cottages are newly built and rest are archaic. My friends got the new one and I was stuck with the old one.

One of the best experience so far. It's a huge luxury property with clean and silent private beach. Luxury villas with all the emenities. Staff are very friendly. Food is awesome. Perfect place to relax in nature. There is not much to see nearby so make sure while choosing your stay here. Swimming pool, spa, golf tennis basketball and what not. Hotel staff conducts dance and game for everyone staying. Once in lifetime experience. Must try.

Amazing experience at Taj. The place is just huge and kudos to facilities and housekeeping teams for maintaining such a large lawn and cycling area. The food here was 5 star too, as one would expect from Taj. Lastly, the pool and other entertainment activities like snooker, cycling, carrom etc were also very good. Overall an aesthetically well crafted resort. We went in monsoon and couldn't enjoy the private beach, but it is damn good. Would love to come back again.

An Amazing place! Our families loved the whole experience from the moment we checked in. Restaurant "Eugenia" is excellent. The property is amazing in terms of the facilities… No words can describe the amazing interiors. We have enjoyed the games, the pool, the ambiance, the rooms and bathrooms and a whole lot of activities, not to forget the amazing beach with superlative location and service. The property is one of the best and the food of the buffet spread is again spectacular and the personal attention of the head chef makes it even better. Last but not the least, each and every staff member makes you feel special. Con — Wifi had speed problem. Strongly recommend for family stay.

Good resort, excellent for families traveling to Goa, located on beach in South Goa, Taj kids club to take care of your little ones while you can enjoy beach, pool or their amazing JIVA Spa. Cycles available for kids, three restaurants (all day dinning, Italian and a Goan) and a bar to meet everyone taste. Their staff make a huge difference as they are very friendly and welcoming. Curteous and experienced staff, especially Chef Dwipen and his team do a marvelous job with the food and service. They go out of their way to make each customer's experience special. Housekeeping staff and upkeep of the property is commendable. I will be surprised if any customers have had a bad experience here.

It's a great place! It's quiet, it's calm. A large area that includes shady gardens and a golf course and jogging paths. The kitchen suffers a little. But it tastes and colours. In any case, the hotel has a variety of cuisines: Italian, local Indian and Japanese (maybe something else). Nice spacious beach.

This is a place that offers you a natural, serene and relaxing environment. The customer service and facilities are top notch! However, internet/Wi-Fi access plans are rather restricted. Some rooms could do with an interior renovation. All in all; its very good value value for money with polite staff. Good facilities and a place that is to be experienced.

Amazing service. An excellently maintained property. Great pool area with a kids slide and by far the best kids play area (TexKids). There are 4 restaurants and a Lounge bar. The Italian restaurant has really good food with excellent presentation and technique. Their breakfast buffet is also lavish. The only downside is that Benaulim beach where this hotel is located is not a scenic beach. However, this hotel easily compensates the lacklustre beach.

“" Lush and Lavish"” A perfect getaway from the rush of the city. Stay here and treat yourself to the lush gardens. Sunbath at the beach… rejuvenation at the spa… and the varied sporting activities. Great work staff and vast food menu. The rooms were very well maintained and tastefully furnished with all the amenities you could ask for. All in all a very enchanting experience.

I have gone on a short holiday day on 7th August 2015. We got a very good experience in our stay. Specially Jabeen @ Front Desk was very Friendly & courteous, she explained she informed about all facilities available @ hotel and about speciality restuarants. Came to show our rooms. Arranged a surprise Gift in our Rooms of a very beautiful pillow with names of me & my wife. She was there by the time of checkout, helped us in getting beautiful pictures and also gifted us our photo framed in beautiful leather frame. As for food I am a born foodie & very selective about it. I have been to many Taj properties in mumbai & other places but the buffet of "Eugenia" beats all. Luckily on first day there was " Goan Fare" Theme. Food was good consisting a fair portion of Starters from live counter and an extensive main course. The service of the staff was too Good. They were very quick and helpful in their service. I would like to Specially Mention One " Krishna Shetgaokar" as he was Excellent in his Job. He used to visit our tables & ask for our special request about food & requirements. Kept on serving our orders from Live counter as quickly as possible with a smile & tips on Goa. He was very Courteous. He informed me about the Next Day Theme " khau Galli" which I visited finding it awesomely Rich with all types of food of North india ranging from Delhi Chaat to all type of Non vegetarian delicacy.

Taj Exotica is amazing … we enjoyed a lot. I stayed other hotels also in Goa last five years but Taj exotica experience was totally different and awesome. Our family enjoyed lush green gardens, private beach, playground, swimming pool and cycling and as well as their hospitality, food and service. Thank you Taj.

Rooftop swimming pool at Smoke Shack under an open sky creates a wonderful atmosphere for spending leisure hours. The restaurants are well decorated and serve lovely dishes at affordable prices. Smoke Shack’s reshmi kebab was awesome to taste. If you visit this restaurant never miss it. You can also try out tikka kebabs with blue lagoon cocktails. The restaurant offers a beautiful ambiance and some good dishes. A must Try.

A wonderful place for your vacation, but little too far from the what we call as Goa, no nightlife around the place so it isn't a good place if your idea of Goa is doing party at late night on beach and then heading to bed in morning. Sad this isn't your place.
