Good rooms and good food especially the kebabs.

Good ambience indeed. Only problem is small space for parking. So much congestion occurs at times because of that.

Good amenities and friendly atmosphere.

We went for a family dinner to Kebab-e-que and have decided to never visit it again. Food was absolutely horrible. Starters were uncooked, mutton had a weird smell, mocktails were without ice (apparently there was no lemon in the hotel). The icing on the cake was that we found small pieces of onion in the chhenar payesh (picture below). We had gone there to celebrate the anniversary of my in-laws and the entire evening got spoilt. No wonder the restaurant was almost empty on a Saturday night. Last year during Durga Puja, we went for the buffet and were served stale food. The standard is absolutely below par for a 4-star hotel. You’re much better off eating at home than wasting your hard earned money here. 😡👎

We visited Kebab-e-Que Restaurant in The Astor Hotel Kolkata. The food was undoubtedly good but which impressed me the most is the staffs, really very much cordial. We went there without prior reservations, still they arranged their best in making my parents Anniversary wonderful respecting each of our taste-buds ofcourse. Really a must visit place with friends and family.

I ordered the Non-Vegetarian Indian Combo from Meal in a Box. It was brilliant! The packaging was perfect even though it had numerous items in it. The Gosht Keema and the Beresta Pulao deserves a special mention! Everything else was quite perfect as well. 100% Recommended!

Astor is a nice cozy hotel. It is located on Camac Street. The location is awesome. The diner is fantastic. The staffs are really helpful. Will definitely come back for a second time.

I have been to this place numerous times, since my childhood days till very recently. I was baffled by the drop in quality of this eatery of such renown n fame. The prices remain same while the tastes have gone downhill, well, considerably. Ambience n hospitality of the staff remain intact but the management has deteriorated. Also, I was amazed to see a few flies on dinner tables. That was something unexpected from this place so I would rate it accordingly.

Located at prime location, situated at one of the posh colony area. But easily availability of local transportation. Hotel look from outside is heritage along with artifacts kept is also. Lighting is also eye catching. Food was amazing but bit costly.

My stay in the hotel was very nice. Hotel Is located very near to park street. Many large shopping malls and brand stores are walking distance from the property. The property is having a very classy vintage feel. The rooms are good, spacious and updated. Staff is prompt and maintains the cleanliness of the room. Food served in the restaurant is also very tasty than many big hotels. I stayed here for 4 nights and my stay was comfortable.

Amazing food! Went for a corporate party so the banquet hall was booked, far far better than many 5 stars hotel in the region. Food was simply great! Even the veg serving was great too. Great service just made the whole experience better.

We travelled as a couple and had 2 nights stay here. The rooms are large and comfortable. Bathrooms clean. The service and food are awesome. Pricing is mediocre and overall a very good hotel to consider for your stay in Cal.

Convenient location and close to airport too. Not very happening but calm place away from traffic conditions. Nice ambience and good food. Take a morning and evening walk around the hotel.

The Astor hotel is the Pinnacle of affordable dining. The decor is lovely and so is the wait staff. I have been going here for 13 years and the quality of food has never gone down. It's tasty and fresh. Portion sizes are fine. Would recommend the Golden Fried Prawns, Crispy Babycorn and the Kebab selection.

Very cozy. Happy to be a part of heritage. However inspite of being the only family present there the order was not properly served. We ordered 2 plates of polao but served only 1. Again except the kebab other items were very average. Did not match the expectation.

Quaint little place in the heart of Kolkata. Would give one the old world colonial feeling inside it's corridors. Food is pretty good as well. But there is just about no parking space inside it's premises. One would be lucky to get one.

The Astor abode luxury old world charm with new age luxury. It is heritage property in Kolkata. This building is Victorian times. Every dish in their multi cuisine menu is of finest test. All staffs are friendly. It is best place for spend with family.

This heritage property is exceptionally amazing. We booked this hotel for our wedding and we are truly a happy and satisfied client. The staff is super professional and courteous. The kind of maintenance and refurbishment been done to the property for converting into a heritage hotel is absolutely commendable. The rooms offers luxurious services with uniquely selected upholstery for the interiors and the contemporary furniture adds to the overall look. The most enjoyable part of this hotel is the food and the bar section. The bar section is classy and provides the clients with a rare selection of drinks that one can enjoy at its strategically located terrace bar. Hats off to the entire team of Hotel Astor.

Beautiful ambience and service was good, the food was great. The location is pretty convenient too and the Saturday Party Scene is amazing! But the ac in our room wasn't working and they couldn't fix it even after we had made several complaints. Also they should include more breakfast options in the complimentary menu. But overall I had a nice stay and would definitely recommend my friends.

The service is great, the food is greater still. And the place is really classy. But if you've a guest list more than 100 then prepare for a bit of a crowd. Other than that, it's as good as they come.

Very neat and clean. Gives a colonial feel through it's interiors. Staff is excellent and very accommodating. If you want to stay near the Park Street for it's proximity to the rest of the city's must visits, this is where you can put up!

Great location, good rooms. You can visit most places within an hour from here. One caveat is that bringing elderly here may be a problem if they need wheelchairs or help walking since there's no elevator present.

I have visited Phoenix, the club at the Astor, for several musical events. They usually have good DJs and musicians and a convivial atmosphere. Highly recommend.

One of the finest places where you can dine with your family. Located in Shakespeare Sarani, Astor provides you with a wide range of delicacies starting with tandoors and kebabs and ending in mousse. I proudly recommend you to choose Astor which holds a special place in the heart of Kolkata restaurants. However, the interior is a little clumsy where I thought, they could expand so that we could readily fit.

We had food at kebab e que. Irani murgh was awesome. Had some beer and cocktails too. Staff is friendly. Good music was also being played. But no fragrance in such a big restaurant.

We were a group of four at Deck 88. The ambience was lovely. It is a place where one can have a conversation with friends over drinks and food. There is no intrusive music which inhibits conversation. All in all, a lovely setting to enjoy winter in.

Not worth the price, leaking bathroom poor quality breakfast, sad room service paid 6k for the room but was not even worth 1.5k.

A very convenient place for hosting official gatherings and meetings. Staff is cordial and have intent to serve their corporate clients more professionally. Their in house pub named 'Plush' is great for post meeting meetups. Overall Value for.

Place is good for a short stay. Food was below average. Breakfast has very limited options. Rooms are small but nest and tidy. Rest rooms are clean as well. Location is in the city centre. Wifi speed is poor.

Very nice hotel which looks Victorian from outside but has all the amenities in the recently renovated rooms. The Plush lounge is a sort of happening place in Kolkata.

Heritage Hotel and all Rooms are not same, I had a spacious room and a good Home feeling. Food was good. Complimentary Breakfast was Good. Service side had some hiccups when needed to Book a Taxi which is costly 5 hours ago 1500 + Tax and being dictated by Taxi. I had to emphasize that Customer service is prime for you. My colleague had a problem of replenishing tea, coffee items. It's lovely place to be in, marvelous photo background, No lift but where can you see those wooden stairs, high ceilings and full history of Kolkata. Security is needed necessity nowadays.

Visit this place for one time in your life.
