A Home Away From Home. Fascinating and a beautiful hotel.

The user experience is not quite good, since I’ve booked this hotel for a non-smoking room which has confirmed. However, they don’t have none-smoking room once I arrived @@ Even I have complained but not helping to switch to a non — smoking room but keep only smoking room where caused an allergic people feeling not very good during stay. I don’t feel their any positive service and Might not come back again. Hope it’s not just due to I’m a foreigner.

This hotel has a wonderful feature… The ones who have a dream of hosting a grand party in a top rated hotel but can't afford the pocket pinch, can go for Kenilworth. It has a budget friendly halls as well as high priced ones. The food is simply amazing… Baked fish with eggplant is a must have for all foodies… Loved this place!

Stay experience — very nice! Food — above average but not dingle licking. Location — near us visa consulate so if you are in town for visa interview, take this hotel. Value for money — would say not quite there.

It always has been a great hotel. Long back, I felt very comfortable there and was a regular. The place felt cosy, managed by efficient team. They often gifted fresh baked bread which smelled and tasted heavenly. Now the place appears more of an business hotel with business like attitude. It's good value for money with some upmarket status. Recently I was attending a meeting there and felt like a drink. I entered my old joint but something told my mind to step back. The sixth sense syndrome. Will try the place again, someday.

Fantastic hotel. Breezy check in and very clean and pleasant room. Wonderful staff, very polite and incredible food. Will always prefer this hotel when I am in Kolkata.

Old world charm, wonderful service and good good. Kenilworth maintains a quaint individuality among the many standardized hotels one usually finds. It is just off the park Street, with good sized rooms.

I visited their restaurant for the new year special lunch buffet. The spread was quite good. However the main course could have a few more options. The starters and desserts were excellent. Worth every buck spent.

Wonderful place to stay in! The restaurants are amazing. The all vegetarian restaurant was surprisingly good, made me not miss the taste of meat one bit. Drinks are really good too and they have a good selection. The staff are polite and professional. When you enter the hotel, you sort of forget that you're in Kolkata, the surroundings are so clean and beautiful.

Good quality restaurant with good quality food. All types of food from south to north-east are excellent. Loved how they kept so many varieties of dishes all under one roof! It was excellent.

Visited the Banquet hall. Food was very tasty, service very good. Car parking has too less space. Can't tell much about restaurant — but for a family get together the place is very good.

Good cozy place surrounded by many offices housing Indian conglomerates. The best point about this hotel is its location which is quite central. One has all shopping, sight seeing and office spaces in the vicinity. Food quality is good and room cleanliness is visible. Room rentals are on a higher side.

Very good facilities. Nice planning in the rooms. Arrangement like facility for drying clothes in wash room, concentrated milk etc. Very clear indication on the tap for cold and hot.

One of good 4 star hotels in Kolkata. It proudly boasts Bigben — the retro pub, I am addicted to its aroma & ambience. The collection of alcohol is good & the warm wooden infrastructure peps up the spirit of the guests. Ideally suited for business class guests.

A nice hotel at very good location. Very friendly staff. Best place if you have business at US embassy, it is merely 3 min walk. Building is old and has leaky faucet and AC system is getting renovated, although staff is super helpful to make sure your needs are met.

It is one of the finest hotels in Kolkata city. Hotel staff make all the difference. Just let them know what you want or what's troubling you, and they'll all jump into action to help you out and that too with a smile. They are just lovely people.

It is to good for family and friends to enjoy with launch and dinner. Location is great. Rooms and restaurants are very good. Staffs are helpful and cooperative. Certainly recommend.

It is one of the very good Hotel in heart of Kolkata. Most of high class offices and high secured offices are located nearby. Neat and clean environment and excellent service. Buffet breakfast is awesome. Overall 5 Star.

The hotel is located quite close to the Courts and the layout of the hotel is also quite good. The rooms are decently appointed and the room service is also decent. Had a few snags while checking in and out, otherwise, a good hotel I would recommend if there's work close to the Courts. Of course, I don't see any point in choosing this place for a recreational visit, except if you are planning on travelling around Park Street.

Pathetic and I have been following up for more than 2 weeks for a refund with no response. This is something I am going through after staying in the hotel for a week with 2 rooms. If a loyal customer faces this kind of response, I am not sure what do they mean by customer service! If they claim to be a 4 star hotel, they should behave like one of those. No one wants to go through such experience after spending quite a lot of money. I will not recommended Kenilworth to anyone ever.

Attended a marriage event in the Hotel. Staff is very cordial and polite. Service was very good. The location is prime but gives you a break from the cacophony out in the broader streets. The dining area is great as well as the lawn. There are high chairs available for drink sessions.

Booked Kenilworth for my wedding and was utterly disappointed. It rained 2 days prior and they waited till last minute to ask us for a bomb to cover the lawn. We refused and asked them to provide alternative arrangements to which they gave us halls indoor. However the arrangement was last minute and extremely shabby. The decorations looked half done and not the designs we agreed. Our photographers even had to point out that the stage was done at a crooked angle! Only saving grace was the food arrangement and service by waiters.
We paid them a bomb, and will now have to live with these photographs for the rest of my life — all thanks to Kenilworth!

A hidden gem. In the many by-lanes of Calcutta, we found this very comfortable and well-located hotel. Not a very big property, but has enough space. Clean with expected amenities; Good food and good service.

One of my favourite breakfast, brunch and dinner buffets in the city. Very clean, well prepared food. Very helpful staff.

It's a very good hotel where you can have finest food. If you are coming from outside of west Bengal you can stay overnight here. It's a four star hotel. The interior is good, the rooms are spacious and nice. It's very comfortable. Overall good.

Food is standard however pricey. Ambience is European kind. Overall gud for business dinners.

Located at the central business district of Kolkata with ease of access. Rooms are very very neat, clean and spacious. Room has all the basic necessary amenities. Complementary breakfast has variety of choices from continental to various Indian typical breakfast cuisines. Hotel is surrounded by various heritage (British era) buildings and hotel itself has a heritage wing where board room, pub etc are located. Victoria memorial, Esplanade, Park street, New Market all are within 2 to 3 kms and in walkable reach. Totally it is a wonderful place to stay in medium budget and highly recommended.

Personal opinions do matter, I recently had a marriage function and all arrangements were just perfect for the occasion. The ambiance and service was appropriate and timely. The food preparation of all items was excellent. Overall wonderful. Surely would recommend this place in my circles.

I loved the hotel. The service is just awesome. Everything is fine starting from rooms to location of hotel to foods.

Being such a reputed hotel, me and my best friend booked a room in this hotel, but was utterly disappointed with the hospitality and services this hotel offered. The basic things like soap shower caps were missing, only the empty packets of the same was kept, secondly after an international flight, we had checked in late around 4:00 am but the housekeeping kept on ringing and knocking on our doorbells 4 times, which was not expected at all. Even after all this, the hotel management only send us a sorry via mail, which did not at all convince us that they are sorry at all. After paying such an amount, everyone would expect a good service. We have stayed in other hotels in India and abroad, the hospitality is the main thing that makes us go back but will never book a room in this hotel ever again neither would suggest anyone to do so. Even the management was average in their behaviour.

This is located about a kilometre away from the historic victoria memorial. Excellent service and a great bar. You mostly find foreigners here.

Clean and reasonably well furnished room let down by poor air conditioning and lack of soundproofing. Attentive floor staff were pleasant and kept room clean and tidy during my stay. Unfortunately the air-conditioning lacked any power so the room never truly cooled down which together with the lack of sound-proofing made it difficult to get a good nights sleep (think of the constant sound of car horns). Breakfast offering just ok, service a bit haphazard. Gym equipment well maintained. Airport transfer vehicle so horrendously dirty I got out the car dirtier than when I got in it! The Hotel is not an international Hotel but (probably due to the World Cricket 20's when I visited) it charged international prices. There is nothing bad about this Hotel, there is just nothing exceptional. Its a good domestic Hotel but its missing a trick if you cant get a good nights sleep!

The food served was miserable. Insensitive people working in this so called 4 star rated hotel. Please don't waste your money here. Very bad experience.

Good hotel. Staffs of the hotel are polite and they show friendly behavior to guests. Loved the interior! The rooms are designed with artistic furniture and high-technology temperature controller along with other amenities. The hotel serves the essence of luxury in the best way. The business club rooms include amenities like complimentary breakfast, in-house gym, work desk and mineral water. I just loved the buffet lunch at Aromas. The dishes are very tasty. If you visit this hotel, don’t miss to try Kesari Tandoori Murg Kebab.

It was a nice stay at this hotel. The rooms are beautiful with adequate space. It has wonderful services that include 24 hours house-keeping, house laundry and a lot more. They are very helpful and are ready to serve your needs 24 x 7. The hotel is business-friendly as it includes services like Wi-Fi, high-tech projectors, presentation boards and many more. The other facilities like gym, salon and spa tune the experience a notch up!
