Great ambience and hospitality. The staff cordially takes care of the needs and necessities of the guests.

Very disappointed with the employees and the owner. They refused to let a poor man eat at our table even though we wanted to pay for his meal. We are a group of 20 Canadians on a humanitarian trip and discrimination is not part of our values. We will never come back!

Great customer service, hotel staff very attentive, it has old world charm with comforts of home atmosphere. Breakfast was added plus.

Restobar is good place to hangout… food is quite good along with some quality music. I ordered veggie pizza it was yum … veg noodles combo was although average. One can enjoy shisha over here.

Bug problems in bathroom and room. But much better than others in the area.

Location is very good, very near to all important places of interest, rooms little dated but still quite large as compared to other properties in this location.

Awesome hotel in this city go there once. Price is a little high but as compare to services and facilities price is resonables. Good staff and good table or room delivery. Parking facilities is also good. I stay there many times. Very honest persons and nice place. Because I forget my cell phone there once I check it in my poket after leave my hotel and room after 2 hours. Then I call to hotel manager and tell them all story. They ask me only my room no and left time. I will tell ten aprox cause I don't remember exect time. After 30 minute they call my given number and tell me about my call phone that they found it in my room and I can take it any time. I go there next day and collect my cell phone. So I recomanded them give a 5*review them.

3-star hotel. Service is good Room service is good. However, the hotel elevator is not good. Old and narrow. Disco with it. There dances and drinkers stayed there for mid nights. The bathroom of the room is good. Although the room of Twin Bed is large, the size of the bed is very small. Without it all is good.

Parking available. Easy way to go. Good food and drinks.

It is my best spot to stay because it's very near to the market and very much conviniant to all places. It's have five star amenities which will fulfill all the need and over all the food is the best of it kind.

Good to stay… Budget hotels… pub is there… Near to Lindsay Street. Good place.

I was here to review for official conference however the place seemed to be unfit for such events. However their Bar cum disco was small but really cool. My two stars are for that only…

Some rooms are quite big. Interiors of the rooms may not be attractive at all. Breakfast is not bad at all. All staff members are helpful in all matters.

Well it's a very old hotel but they maintained it so it's fine. A decent hotel I would say.

The hotel is 53 years old which makes it historical! Location of the hotel is very good and very near to Kolkata Shopping Hub New Market. Food is also good. But lacks professionalism in Breakfast management. Found unavailability of breakfast items almost every day. Stuff behavior is average. Old guys used to demand tips though not directly.

Had been an wonderful experience in Kolkata while staying here. Commodities are awesome but a bit costly. Need to improve on the restaurant services esp. With the foods. Bit confusing to see the online portals for booking hotels saying some rooms available but physically they were not.

Old styled hotel. They should change the rooms interiors a d specially bathrooms with New furniture. Bathrooms r like 1950 ones. Even small lodges in Kolkata have good bathrooms with excellent amneties then Lytton.

Staff is very helpfull and polite. Rooms are nice but the beds are like sleeping on rocks.

Looks like a heritage hotel, more than 50 year old. The approach way is congested. However has a parking space for atleast 10 cars. Rooms are large enough, neat and clean. However there are limited charging points in the rooms. Room service is good and decently fast. Food is well priced. Has a bar attached.

Nice hotel very convenient and primarily located rooms are good but have to be modified a bit as what I felt.

This was my first trip to Kolkata and I made this blunder to stay in this hotel. The room is very small with a 90s era air conditioner, Water wasn't draining in the shower, No hot water at night, Room fridge doesn't work, Television works but the remote doesn't, the manager straightaway declined to get my food delivered to my room, the towels given are of pathetic quality and many other problems. They will charge more but will deliver less. I don't recommend this hotel.

Grab a quick bite if you are hungry and tired of shopping. Try tandoori and a pint of chilled beer.

I'm giving it 2 stars only because the Oyo across the street is even worse. Everything in this hotel is old and filthy, service staff is unprofessional but helpful most of the time.

We had a marvelous stay in Lytton Hotel. Wonderful interiors, very good service and some excellent dining too. Very reasonably priced too for a luxury hotel.

Nice hotel in central area of Kolkata staff all very good and responsible food are also good, manager Mr. Abhijit nice person.

Sitting capacity for breakfast is limited. Waste time for breakfast. Other service is good.

Centrally located with New Market right behind it, this hotel gives heritage vibes. Rooms are at the lower end of spacious but amenities, service and staff are all good. The buffet breakfast had a huge variety and most things tasted nice. Indian Museum is footsteps away and Park Street is close by as well. Great experience it was and will surely stay again in future.

To start with the location of this place is quite good! It is convenient from all parts of the city! The ambiance provided by them is remarkable which makes me feel like home. I would suggest that this place is perfectly suited for every foodie!. And yes every penny is worth eating for.

I couldn't have been more pleased. Amazing customer service, delicious breakfasts to start the day, spacious comfortable room with large bathroom. And the location of the hotel was perfect easy access to the tube stations and walking distance to so many great places and streets.

It was a wonderful experience. From stay, to the service, the behavior of the staff was so nice and warm, that it felt like we were at home. Definitely staying here for the next visit to Kolkata. Keep up the good work Lytton Team.

Very bad experience having dinner at this hotel. Quality of food as well as service, is very very poor. Complete Waste of money. Disappointed.

Sir you need to see rooms smell well… And bit disappointment over room and hotel cleanliness… otherwise food specially breakfast is good… need more controlled cleanliness out side and inside… I stayed bothe heritage and other new wing it bit disappointed me… Water come very cold if you want bathing in night… And no body takes care what we say when we come late to hotel… I heard it is a good one but you need more effort on above things…

+ central, near to maidan, national museum + clean and confortable rooms — Only Wifi at the reception (for foreigner) — Very noisy! — Too expensive.

The staff is almost racist. The decor inside is kind of old though outside looks like a fairytale. Other newer establishments are way better in terms of food and service.

This hotel is a bit off the main drag but a great location from which to explore Kolkata. The rooms were a reasonable size, reasonably clean and air conditioned. Wi-Fi is provided but was not functioning in the rooms when we were there. The beds were comfortable and laundry service is provided. A lift is provided to access the upper stories. There is a nice but expensive outdoor bar/restaurant that serves quite good food. The staff were quite friendly and helpful.

Using Lyton for 20 years. Excellent staff members, specious and clean rooms, nice little bar and the best thing is food! Complimentary breakfast is a must!

Average hotel. Hotel staff are helpful. Basic amenities that are expected out of hotels are not available. Wi-Fi is not so good, had issues with locker and taps in bathroom.

It's good. The food is good. The Wi-Fi sucks… 200 rupee per day… It's over rated.
