Humble request for not staying in this hotel. Worst ever. Rooms are dirty. Bed sheets are not clean. Room service is really bad. The staff is very rude. Please avoid this hotel. You can get better hotels in lesser price.

It was very nice staying at Astoria Hotel, excellent location just near New Market and Park Street. From Restaurants — Market everything is nearby. Rooms are spacious. Staffs are very good, and helpful. Its like a homely feeling.

Dispite being a old hotel, which all furniture & fixtures are wearing out, their behaviour seems that they are operating a 5 star hotel. Wastage of money. Not worth what they r charging. All sheets and curtains stinks.

The people are very kind. But the hotel is in bad condition. The walls are full of moisture. It's not what I was shown by booking.

Rooms are roomy and the bathroom is big. Location is convenient for Newmarket. However it's an old building and it smells. The wallpaper is also coming off. Went there twice, visits were 1 year apart. No renovation done.

This hotel is located in Sudir Road which is very close to historic new market. Just opposite of new market fire brigate. Neat and clean room. It has a small restaurant. Food quality is good. Other indian and bangali restaurant is around. Very conveniant place to stay for food lover and people who love to shop.

The place is ok. But not up to the mark. The behaviour of the manager is not good at all. The rooms need to be fixed in aspects like colour, door locks and handles, cleanliness. Their offered free breakfast is also cheap. But their room tariffs are high. In total this place is not at all satisfactory.

About Hotel: previously its was good but now the service is not good. There are some better hotels nearby. Good hotel in nice location and big conference rooms.

Pretty decent hotel. Close to the new market area. Our experience with this hotel was good. No complaints. Although part of it was under renovation.

You can afford much better hotel than this one in same price.

This is not a 3 star hotel. Their receptionist confirmed it to us. We have become astonished reaching there. It was terrible. Room and toilet were dirty. Everythings of the room were so old, just looks like 2 nd hand. Even the ac, oven, cushion everythings are in bad condition. Staffs are not cordial. But the price is high. If u want to waste ur money then u may go there otherwise u sould avoid it.

Rooms are good, but room service are not that good.

No man, don't come here. Only good thing was the complimentary breakfast. Room was filthy. Bathroom Locks were broken, service was bad, WI-FI WAS SLOW. On my room. Awful experience overall.

Over priced for a regular facility. Good thing is comfortability. Need to improve staff quality also.

Disgusting Hotel I have never stayed in disgusting like this hotel, the damp smell, the dirty room, the room same like never clean for 1 year, it's full of dusts especially floor, also everything in this room are very dirty example microwave looks like never clean for next guest and have mold inside. Staffs in front desk are so rude and do not have service mind. The location is the only good point.

One of the worst hotels if not the worst in Kolkata. Rude staff and dirty sheets with stains. The staffs behave extremely rudely and still expect tips from you. If you are a foreigner they will abuse you in Hindi.
