Never visited that much bad hotel before. We did our booking from MMT and it's looks good in photos. After visiting this place we've found very dirty room not maintained for a long time. Bed bugs are there. Washrooms are pathetic with broken door without light. We feel like it's not a hotel they are asking to stay here for free of cost and still we are not ready to stay here. Bad management with bad behavior of the stuffs. This hotel should not get approval from govt.

Hotel have good mountain view from only two room (Room no 12 and 14). Public big car dont come near hotel. Old people may find bit difficult to reach the place as they have to walk in some hilly road. Hotel dont have room service. View from balcony is simply awesome.

Location wise the hotel is very good. Hardly a 5 minute walk from the mall road. Rooms were very small and unexpectedly dirty. The condition of the bathroom disappointed me. Recommend the hotel only if your aim to spend much on travelling and exploring places because you will have to adjust with the room. Have a great stay.

They only show us two room. Maximum 10*10 sqft room. Very congested. The entrance to room is 3ft hanging balcony common to both the room. Improper light on room. Wooden wall with damp.

Not clean. Bathroom is not up to the mark. Location is good. A 2 min walk from the mall road.

The location is a bit uphill so you get a good view from the windows. Also the market is nearby so it's too easy for the visitors. Cheap price and friendly staff. Just the food in the restaurant is not worth the price, rather you should eat somewhere in the market at much cheaper rates.

Good location, it is a walk up the mountain but not a problem for a fit person. Not the luxury hotel maybe someone is looking for but much better VIEW and energy than others… prices are better if you come and book instead of doing it in advance. QUIET and far from traffic, PEACEFUL place…

Very budget hotel. First room we got had broken window glass in the bathroom half covered with a piece of carton. Temperature outside was +3 Celsius and no heater available for the night.
Next day we switched room, and got heater for 200 rupees per day.
Hot water and cold also were not available sometimes, cause no central water and the tank was getting empty pretty fast (as we figured out later it’s common in Darjeeling).
Nice Mountain view from the window of it’s not foggy.
Easy to find, not far away from railway station (if you don’t mind climbing those steep streets of Darjeeling).

Good place,, but you should book a cab to reach that hotel, otherwise you have to walk to the uphill area, which may get you tired For hill view this hotel is best, you can watch the entire city from this pick point.

Friendly staff, nice view (not Kanchanjunga) from hotel and reasonable restaurant. But the room on the lower floor is terrible. And if you want to see Kanchanjunga from your room, you need to stay on the north side of Darjeeling.

This place is little far away from Mall road but the view you can get from here is breathtaking. Also from my balcony I got a glimpse of Kanchenjunga. Hotel staff is friendly.

Disclaimer: This review is not about the hotel, but about the street that leads to this hotel. This property is located at a very high altitude from the Clock Tower-Chowrasta junction, and the street that climbs up to here has an extremely steep gradient. Cars get sometimes in trouble to climb this slope. There are 3 hairpin turns in between, and the slope rises almost vertically at each turns. The gradient is so steep that even Jeeps cannot make it with ease. If you have aged members (35+), better to hire a car to ride this hike or take other alternatives. The hotel offers a pleasant stay for the teenagers and young backpackers, but older people will have a tough time making it all the way up here.

The place is perfect for backpackers. The staff is lovely. They have a decent restaurant. The views from the rooms are great. The rooms are small, a bit cramped & there is a distinct smell of dampness. The bathrooms are tiny but functional. While I was there, they had a bit of a problem with the water pressure (so the showers didn't work) but all in all it's a lovely place to stay.

Apart from an awesome view in a place like Darjeeling this hotel provides you nothing. I stayed here for 2 nights and literally there was no room service to be specific — No cleaning of room, No intercom to ask for anything, There is one restaurant operational under specific hours with limited options, Even the most common things like washroom soap and towel was not provided, My room was messy in this duration and while asking why there was no dusting etc they said you were not available, Notice I dont know is there any AC rooms available but in non AC room there was no option of fan, You also dont have toilet shower. Last but not the least if you are 40+ age I would not recommend you this even if you are not getting any options in Darjeeling reason being this hotel is on a very high altitude and literally steep way where 99% of the cars would not go means you have to walk and walk, I am saying this as I traveled to this plave with my parents and they were so tired that we didn't went out for one day. Das Zimmer ist nicht das schönste, sieht bereits etwas alt aus. Trotz dem Anschein des Schmutzes ist jedoch alles sauber. Sehr schöner Ausblick.

An unique experience awaits here for those casual lodgers who are looking for something different in the otherwise so obvious town of Darjeeling. The wooden walls and the window facing the mountain range and the downhill townscape gives you a literal definition of a room with a view. The cafe has a good library of books and a balcony to chillax.

The hotel is quite unique. Room number 12 has a great view of almost the entire city of Darjeeling. Run by few youngsters, the service is satisfactory.

As there are not many budget options in Darjeeling, probably you'll come here. The place is ok. A bit dirty. But at least rooms have windows with nice view and dining area is cozy. Stuff people are very young and they really don't care how you're doing. Until you come with your problem. Owner appears but never talk or ask. Wifi good, food also ok. Hot shower works. For extra money you can get a heater for your room.

Nice place to stay away from the hustle of the city. Not suitable if you have elder people with you as reaching the hotel needs some uphill walk.

The owner is a liar and a disrespectful person.
