Small rooms bad food poor quality service.

Its not a place to be as summit pretend to be… first of all location is so bad that to reach the hotel you have to step up a steep small mountain and when we call to the toll free no for location… they guide u some different hotel… such a irritating staff and really I had a veey bad experience… I will never recommend any one … because in rhis price you will get other hotels which will give u good service and also good locations.

Superb location, beautifully decorated interior, dinning hall, reading room, airy living rooms from where you can have the views of the tea gardens and above all the hospitality of the staffs are the points to remember regarding the MHR.

The room alloted to us at 2nd floor was awesome. Wooden furniture and use of English pastal Colors makes it much better. View was also good. Breakfast could be better but considering the fact that it have limited number of rooms we found the place good.

Clean, good service, kind and helpful staff, good food and variety. For dinner they don't offer all cuisines from the menu card. Very nice place.

Food is perfect. Full marks for kitchen facility. Room in which I stayed was completely wooden. I liked interiors except lighting which was so dim I personally don't like… Overall excellent.

It was a homely experience visiting this hotel. The food here is very delicious. The rooms here are spacious and the staff here is very friendly and cooperative. It was a superb experience staying in this hotel.

Good place to relax and spend some good time with friends and family in the nice cold weather of Darjeeling. The rooms and service of the hotel staff was satisfactory (no big complaint). They also got a nice roof with wooden tables and benches for you to enjoy the weather while you do your stuff. Overall I had a good experience.

I was looking for a quite and good hotel in Darjeeling for me and for my wife. After searching on different website, I have found that Mount Himalayan Resort is one of the best hotels in Darjeeling. First of all, we were welcomed with a "Welcome Drinks". And after that the check-in process was quite smooth and staffs took our baggage to room. Rooms are decorated with Wood and they have good room heater. Moreover, they have complimentary water, tea, coffee and required bathroom accessories. However, few improvement can improve the overall quality of hotel. 1. Washroom needs a exhaust fan or a system which can throw hot air out of the washroom. 2. Complimentary toothpaste and tooth brush can be added in the list of washroom accessories. At last, we were very happy with the overall quality of the hotel and behavior of staffs. And I will recommend this hotel to everyone who wants a different staying experience in darjeeling.

Nice place, Good hospitality, very help full staff, Food taste was good and good view from the hotel. They have offered me another room in their other property because of my wife's health problem. Only small issue is a small steep 50m road to reach this hotel.

Excellent property. All amenities are perfect. Staffs are quite cordial and always wear a soothing smile. Location wise good there is steep climb from the main road to hotel, which is a bit tiring. Rooms are neat. Food is good. The roof top Sun deck is awesome. You can have view Kanchenjunga and other peaks clearly on a clear day.

Awesome experience. Nice and well behaved stuff. Beautiful rooms and a pleasant view from the room window of the majestic kanchenjungha. Food is expensive but tasty and you will have plenty of options.

Perhaps the best hotel in Darjeeling. The staff is really very friendly and are ready to go out of their way to help their customers. The breakfast and tea is also very good.

Very steep pathway to the hotel. My 5 year old son found it very hard to walk up to the main gate. Hotel interior is quite clean and the staff are very friendly specially the guy at the restaurant was one charming fellow. The breakfast buffet spread was limited with only veg options. The only best part was their skydeck from where on a clear day one can clearly see Kanchonjunga (photo Attached. Overall a value for money hotel.

Worst experience. Room lacks basic amenities. It wasn't like any of summit properties. Even charged more then menu price.

It wasn't good experience. Wi-Fi never works, room can be better. Room services are also not good. Geyser and heater wasn't working. We complained and they said, they will try to make it work, if not we have to stay in cold. Not like summit properties.

Its a real service provider hotel. Thay gives priority of customer's satisfaction.

Hotel staff is very well mannered and served well. Only problem is with the hotel location where you need to walk around 150 meters steep to reach hotel though it is very near to Mall road, so this is bit difficult for adults. If they can provide any sort of transport facility for adults then well and good. Overall experience is good.

We stayed there for 3 nights, first of all when we entered the room we liked the wooden theme, everything was wooden like floor, walls, roof, but because of wooden structure it was too noisy like sound of steps outside your room etc and lighting was very dim it can be pleasing for couples but I was with kids and my kids were scared at night I requested them to change lamps in my room but they didnt but housekeeping guy managed a table lamp for us but that was not sufficient, location is good its near mall road but you have to walk hard to reach this hotel and after that if you have room on 2nd floor then… Not recommended for old people, food is fine but service is very slow in restaurant and yes TV was not working in room no 203
