Paray Residency

To people checking this place out, don’t make the mistake I did. Please read all reviews as you can see a clear trend of how this place is being run.
We booked this place for our baby’s baptism expecting professionalism and quality, especially from a venue that claims to be 4-star.
1) The place wasn’t cleaned or maintained making it a shabby, disgusting place. The toilets had a stinking odour.
2) My guests were served food on cheap paper plates, paper cups, and plastic spoons which was embarrassing and completely unacceptable for such an important occasion.
3) The service throughout the event was disorganised, careless, and extremely disappointing. Staff were inattentive, and there was absolutely no sense of hospitality or accountability.
To make matters worse, when we raised our concerns with both the managers, Anil & Reji and owner, Benny they were arrogant, dismissive, and rude rather than trying to resolve the situation or even apologise. The owner, Benny, an arrogant person doesn’t even have the courtesy to acknowledge the situation and filed a case against me.

We strongly advise against hosting family functions or special events at this hotel. We recently booked a baptism function for around 110 guests for our nephew, and unfortunately, the experience was highly disappointing and far below the standards expected from a 4-star hotel.
The issues we faced included:
1. Desserts and welcome drinks were served in paper cups/plates, which felt extremely unprofessional for a 4-star property. Even small “thattukadas” serve customers properly in plates/glasses, so this was truly shocking from a hotel claiming 4-star standards. There was not even dedicated staff available to serve the welcome drinks.
2. Starters were finished before all guests had a chance to try them, and no timely refill was arranged.
3. When we requested snacks to be delivered to a room, the staff responded that they did not have enough employees for room service. It was shocking that guests had to carry food themselves despite paying premium rates.
4. Customer service was extremely poor. Several serving staff appeared reluctant to attend guests. What disappointed us the most was noticing that desserts were seemingly kept aside for hotel staff while guests assumed they were finished. Toward the end of the function, hotel staff entered the hall and began eating before all guests had even left.
5. Parking arrangements were badly managed.

It was a very very very poor experience at the restaurant but executive bar is amazing specually there suggestions and time to time service even the guy is cleaning he knows what is he doing but the restaurant must go for a long journey to improve specially the indian food and chinese food very disgusting taste sorry to say that and chinese suggested by the server he said chinese is much better than indian I agreed its my mistake but both are the same full of food color and all the defective things are added besides noone is there to here me. So bad experience I will never come back.

Visited Parays recently and had a great experience. The bar is well maintained, and I visited the executive bar section. Loved the theme and overall setup-very pleasant ambience. The music was good, not too loud, and the place wasn't crowded, which made it even better. Service was decent and smooth throughout. Easily the best bar I've visited in Muvattupuzha so far. Would definitely recommend.

The rooms are clean and service and location is great. In bar, they have normal, premium and executive services. Opt either premium or executive to have the minimum cleanliness and basic aminities and good attention.

Overall, a very pleasant experience. Great staff, clean and well maintained. Great value for the price.

The hotel’s food and beverage experience was excellent. The menu offered a great variety of well-prepared dishes, with fresh ingredients and appealing presentation. Service was attentive and professional, and the ambience created a relaxed yet elegant dining atmosphere. Overall, a very enjoyable experience that complemented the stay perfectly.

The room was clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful throughout my stay and its also perfect for both business and leisure trips. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable stay.

I visited this hotel for my friends wedding. It's location is in the heart of the city, near to Mela Auditorium, Muvattupuzha Bus Stand all in close proximity. The food is so delicious, we had South Indian & Chinese amazing taste. The rooms are kept clean (could improve the lights in the room) and spacious. Mr. Abin, was very courteous and extended his support & his hospitality was too good. Understanding the language barrier, he literally ensured our local travel is arranged and with reasonable fare. Being new to the place, his plan for day 2 was arranged flawless. My family highly appreciated his arrangements after check out for a short break. I would strongly recommend your stay at Paray's for their food, stay and hospitality. Thank you Mr. Abin!

Really bad experience with the staff. Plz go only after confirming the tariffs as the staff over their will loot you. They were not sure of the tariffs and they showing sign languages to fix it and took extra money to their pockets. They didn't even bother to show the room where the AC was not even working. Worst experience ever.

Was denied entry to the executive bar because I was wearing a black mundu. Frankly guys its 2025. Time to get rid of the stupid colonialist and classist rules like this. You simply lose business and the guests feel humiliated. Not recommended.

I visited this place last day and the ambience behaviour and treat were awfull good place for stay.

The room looked clean but the headlamp and fan were dusty. The bed was very uncomfortable too.

Room, beds, bathroom were clean. Basic bathroom kit were provided. But complementary breakfast is just for namesake. Only 2 dishes, aappam n kitchadi. That's is unacceptable. Even tea is like hot water. This need to be better.

It was great being at parays residency. Great place to enjoy vacation, great food, good service all around. Special thanks to Mr. Abin for the special care and his expertise with food and beverage was simply amazing to guide us through the menu to ensure we taste the best in the venue.
