Yercaud Sterling resorts atmosphere is too good. Staffs are Friendly. Food also nice.

One thing I didn't like is the steep and narrow staircase in duplex rooms, rest everything is excellent.

Beautiful, cozy, scenic, stay. Amazing hospitality, yummy food and The most peaceful place to Sleep, take rest.

Nice location. Well maintained rooms. Good service by the staff in House keeping, room service and for reaching your baggage to the rooms and back while checkout. Mr Krishnamoorthy at the front office was receptive and friendly. On the whole nice experience. F&B — Buffet spread was good and hence a bit priced high. Can look at making it more attractive in terms pricing for the Buffet so that the guests have their food in the resort as I found good numbers heading to a nearby South Indian restaurant for breakfast.

A good property in Yercaud maintained by Thomas Cook. Good food. An over 4 hours drive from Bangalore. Scenic beauty outside the Villa… Great to be here…!

Wonderful place to spend your holiday. Having a very big campus and infrastructure. There are budget accommodation avilable, but during season difficult to get those rooms. From inside the room itself you will have good view and you can enjoy the nature. Good maintenance, innovative ideas implemented, greenery environment, good collections of amenities. At present they are offering lifetime national and international membership.

Awesome place … We went for a team outing. The climate there was amazing. Around 5 PM in the evening, the whole place was covered with mist and there was 0 visibility. Never expected such a wonderful weather. Totally it was a very good experience.

Excellent place to stay. If you are comfortable in climbing up and down 100+ steps, stay in room numbers 320 — 330+ will fantastic with beautiful view from your window and balcony. No lift facility in that rooms. But it is worth to enjoy nature from those rooms. We were there in the month of July. The climate was extremely beautiful.

Wonderful resort. It's located on a steep cliff with a really good view of the mountains as well as city. There are several view points nearby as well. Facilities and amenities are very nice. Transportation and food is available at reasonable prices. Overall experience was really good.

Had gone for a family vacation and was lucky to get a room here. Faces the valley and the rooms are cut on the side of the hill. Brilliant architecture and amenities. Situated 5 kms from city for a bit of privacy. Worth every penny. Advice to book a bit in advance.

Amazing location. It's located right on the edge of the mountain n offers mesmerizing view of the nature and the overview of the surrounding towns. Weather in May was very pleasant. Food is decent. Perfect place for a relaxed Holiday. One disadvantage of this resort is that there are too many steps. Elders or aged ppl might have to rethink staying here. Everything is slightly over priced here, right from food to indoor/outdoor games. Need to pay money for almost all of the activities.

Is a resort built in the 90s. The ambience, the scenary are all terrific. You will not feel to leave the resort. Now a word of caution too. Its built in the valley of a cliff. So its having 7 to eight floors with no lifts to rooms. You should be having a good knee and healthy heart to stay here. Room service is good but the clothing are mostly old. Overall maintenance is not up to the mark.

The hotel has good views as it is built on the slopes of the mountain. Hence you have to climb up and down on the steep steps to get to rooms and back to recreation area. The recreational activities were quite good. Staff were quite helpful. Room is clean and tidy. Breakfast and dinner buffet was good. Room service was okay.

It's located at View Point… Nice Location I must say. But if you are ready to climb 50+ stairs everytime u would like to go to reception or restaurant… Lift covers only 4 floor. Rooms are spread across 9+ floors. As it's built on hill slop. They should extend lift reach to all the floors. Otherwise it's nice and peaceful place to spend time with family. Menu has v limited choice of food.

The place is nice for a couple of days stay. The view of the entire SALEM district is serene from here. The food is also good. The morning and night look to the hills from this place is awesome. Rooms aka cottages are clean. One suggestion the cottages should have AC as it is not all time chilly weather up there. You will certainly need AC during such days.

The best part about Sterling Yercaud is its location. Nestled along the slope of the hill, the resort is certainly a well planned and implemented property given the terrain. During both my visits, we stayed in the one bedroom apartment. The property does have a lift but reaching certain parts of the resort, especially the lower most rooms, can be a challenge for older adults. I have to mention, though, that the lower most rooms, the ones that are along the edge of the cliff, have the best views during the day. I'd suggest the rooms which are in proximity to the lift for the best views from the balcony at night. I have visited this resort twice and have had a great time during both the visits. The rooms are well maintained and appointed, as expected from Sterling. I would certainly go back to the property for a quick little trip from Bangalore.

Hilltop reset is the best thing Yercaud. Awesome views from cottages, good food, ambient property, good recreational activities. Service is good but the over staff can be better informed about the facility.

Beautiful location with the Rose garden and lady's seat close by. The resort is nice and clean with greenery around. The rooms are decent and the service is good as well.

Awesome place to stay here at Yercaud. Hotel situated just at the hill top. Book room with balcony where you can see splendid view of Salem. Room is very big. They have option for additional bed as tgey have sofa cum bed inside the room. Interior is pretty good. This hotel doesn't have swimming pool apart form that everything is avilble. Their service is very good. Staff behaviour is good. They have children play are and activity area too where in evening you can sing karaoke. Depending upon the guest they will arrange bun fire. All the tourist place is near to the hotel.

The view! It's amazing. The food served is just fantastic. Friendly room service. The only problem is monkeys. Yes there's a lot of them around. If you're making a reservation please ask for a room which is safe from monkeys. They even peed on my sweater. But for the most part this place is amazing.

The property is a mix of good and bad. The rooms are good with a fantastic view over the valley but lacks basic amenities like air conditioning (they forget to mention that in the websites and you assume they must be having it). The food is exorbitantly priced. A plate of chilly chicken costs 500 INR and a bottle of KF beer is over 350 bucks. Another thing is the no. Of stairs you need to take to go from one part of the property to another. Definitely not senior citizen friendly. Frankly, with the name Sterling on the board you expect something more than what is being offered.

Built on the slopes of the mountain this place is an absolute treat for a getaway. Especially for a couple who motorcycled from BLR to Yercaud. Clean and comfortable rooms are a definite plus. A few rooms have beautiful view as the rooms are built on the mountain slope. Pricing for the room seemed moderate. As for the facilities in the resort, they have a play area with some indoor games, a spa and an open space for music/camp fire. The restaurant in the resort serves good quality food however the service could have been faster and the prices were on the expensive side. While the property as a whole is well managed and beautiful in its own way navigating from the reception to room to restaurant makes one feel as though they are going through a maze. It’s fun at the beginning but gets a little difficult as time goes by. Beware of the monkeys that wander about freely in the property. They do pose a menace and that’s something the resort management should looks toward resolving. A cosy place with scenic view especially during the sunset. We will definitely visit again.

Lovely place to stay. Good quality food. Only crib is the loud music during weekend for some guests. Otherwise a great place and good service.

Hospitality at its best. Out of the box infrastructure and I could say it's one of a kind. It's a must stay at Yercaud for the view it has to present. Note : you should be ready to walk the stairs up and down as the elevator accessibility is scarce due to the architectural built of the resort. However, it excels the stay.

I have never seen this kind of resort with valley views before… Wonderful location and pleasant climate at the peak… food is too costly and only rich people can afford. No nearby hotels… We have to go to Yercaud town to have food … except food everything is very good…

Good location. Decent and clean rooms. Prompt service. Very hospitable staff. Food is average for some dishes. Need more variety in a la carte as the current menu is very limited. Buffet has almost everything.

One of the best Sterling Property. Awsome location. 9 floor's on the slope. Good and clean place. Food is decent. In house entertainment and activities are very good. Have tie-ups with adventure sports service providers. A must place to stay. September to January is the best season to stay.

Nice place for weekend getaway. Located on a hill side overlooking the valley for a fantastic sunset view. Some activities like bonfire, karaoke, movies etc. Are planned in the evening.

Superb place. Well maintained. Front Office Mr Krishnamurthy and Travel Desk Mr Mahesh are very helpful. Rooms are wonderful. The minus is the food. The spread and the taste is not proportionate to the money being charged. The desserts are pathetic. Variety is also lacking. So that the only minus we found here. Special congrats to the ever smiling house keeping and restaurant staff.

Have to climb 158 steps to enter room. There are two parking lots available if parked in above parking lot then we have to step down 60 steps to go to lift and then in first floor hotel reception is available. View from rooms are awesome. Beware of monkeys in morning hours outside rooms.

Amazing location but the hotel maintenance was average. Hotel on the cliff which gives a beautiful view. My room stinked big time and mainly because of no ventilation. There are windows and doors but you cannot open it as the monkey's would get in the room. Secondly, tooth paste and brush wasn't provided. However, they gave it when I called. Another thing being the geyser for our room wasn't working, they later provided us with a bucket of hot water. Lunch we had was just average but the dinner and next morning breakfast was very very good. Staffs were friendly. I felt it was expensive for the value we got but still I would recommend because bit many option are available.

Nice place to visit and nearer to Horticulture park and rose garden. Rooms are a bit small but cleanly maintained. Friendly staff and tasty food. Worth a visit…

Clean, superb resort with great views from many rooms. Very child friendly — has lots of activities and play area for children. Restaurant serves good North Indian and South Indian food. Staff is very friendly and take suggestions seriously. Ladies seat, gents seat and rose garden sightseeing places are bang outside the resort. Rooms are of various budgets and are well maintained.

A beautiful place carved on the edge of a rock face that provides you with the visibility of a huge valley below — almost feels heaven like. Definitely a place to go & as is with all Sterling Resorts slightly pricy on the food & beverages.

The hotel is very good. Nearly a cliff side hotel. Views are ethereal. People travelling to Yercaud from Bangalore's direction, DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT take the Kadayampatti route. The road is extremely narrow and is in very bad condition.

Beautiful Scenic view. Bikers paradise to drive. High ranges and Mountian washed with mist. Landscape to write a poem and make a story. Temperature is apt for a perfect drive and sightseeing. Pepper, Coffee Orange and many floras… Kiliyur falls… Cauvery peak, Lady’s Seat, Gents Seat, Deer Park, Boat ride and so many other sports as well to make it’s great getaway.

Amazing location, guess it's the topmost point of Yercaud. The rooms are very modern and well equipped. North Indian food is by far the best I have had in Tamil Nadu. Rose garden and Seats are just walking distance.

Nothing much to visit. If you like to go hill station just for a relaxation can go here with family/friends. But this hotel location is awesome.

Great place to be at. Valley facing rooms are so cool. Just that the stairs to climb back to the main entrance will tore you out. But never mind! Its worth.

Good place for a small stay. Good for children and couples. Comfortable rooms. No need of AC. Too many steps to climb if your rooms are at the lower levels. Very expensive food. Service staff is OK but gets delayed as they have to climb up and down the stairs.

A resort located at a strategic location. Good rooms and parking facilities. Many places of tourist importance are located at a walking distance from here. Spend at least two days here. Food is also good.

Amazing view, great food… front desk staff smile at you only when you are checking in or writing review … else most time they are busy answering calls, frowning and involved in talks within themselves… hated it. But the place is simply breath taking … food is excellent … if only they could train the front desk folks or hire a better ones … sorry about the blunt review! July 3 2018 … looks like they have improved a lot in customer experience… very impressed with the front desk this year… … accomodative and welcoming…
As usual ambience is beyond words and priceless…

I went to Rock Perch with my family and had a pleasant stay through out. The location of the resort is the first and the best thing you will notice. It over looks the plain and the view is spectacular through out the day. The grandeur is real and breathtaking. Resort serves food through its restaurant called Zing which is quite nice as the food is very very tasty. Due to lack of better options around, the pressure is on the restaurant and kitchen staff who try there level best to serve all needs. The price is on the higher side, including the beverages as Sterling is rightly placed in the service chain. The restaurant is brimming with people at most times. There are other facilities available too that makes it ideal for one to travel with friends or family. Few of these are chargeable while others are complimentary. Yercaud is naturally beautiful and Sterling provides the right base for your trip. The overall service could be more consistent in terms of how different functions in the resort work in tandem to provide you the best experience. I will give them 8.5 out of 10 for the money I have spent at Rock Perch during my stay.

Stunning views from the room, but terrible service. Room service takes a minimum 1 hour and is very unorganized. Also be prepared to walk a lot of stairs up and down, if that's not your cup of tea can be a very big problem.

Good resort with great view from rooms. But the restaurant is very bad not worth at all!

Very bad restaurant. Average food Worst service. Messed up a simple order. Had order ceaser salad wit chicken. They served a veg ceaser salad n wen asked for just added chicken pieces to the same! N finally the best part the main course served was cold. Al this n not evn an apology from them. Wat good is a resort without a gud restaurant.

All were excellent. They were friendly. A word must come from the sky to appreciate them. I enjoyed it. But only thing is there was no swimming pool.
