Excellent ambience and walkable distance to sea. And resort rooms are good. And management peoples are good and friendly. Only food menu not much impressive but average it could be added better menu items and taste.

The restaurant is the worst maintained. The table mats were dirty. And lighting too depressing.

Nice resort. Slightly away from the main city and the white town. But it has its own charm. You have access to the beach from this property. The rooms are excellent. The staff is helpful. The food (especially breakfast) four have been better. Overall a very nice property. A thumps up from me with a recommendation to visit.

Great Resort and very good amenities. The staff at the front desk and at the restaurant are very accommodative and go out of their way to help make your stay a pleasant one. The rooms are very comfortable and inviting. One of the beaches is from the touching distance from the property and the view from the water view rooms are breathtaking. I would highly recommend this to other travellers.

One the most amazing weekends I have had! This resort was totally magical. It's a great place to have family time. The activities and the food available perfect. And the view from the hotel is like mind blowing. Its a perfect get away place. The main attraction is the physical chess board which requires both mind and physical effort. Totally loved the place. ❤️

Amazing food. Garden view rooms are huge with modern furniture and amenities. It's a 200-300m walks from the resort to beach. No hi-tea but you do get tea/snacks which is chargeable. And do not forget to carry your own mosquito repellent (patches or cream)

Well maintained property with clean spacious rooms. The staff were really friendly and courteous. The breakfast spread was nice. The only letdown was the adjoining beach. The hotel folks told us that the beach is fantastic in November and December when the water from the river isolates the beach as an island. In April unfortunately, it was very dirty.

Beautiful place to stay. Comfortable bed and tidy room. Good sized pools. Friendly staff. The only thing that lets it down is the beach area adjacent to the hotel is quite dirty, I guess this is a worldwide problem nowadays but I think businesses should do more to tackle this locally. Otherwise had a great stay and would go back.

Stayed 4 nights. Courteous staff. Good food 2 meal buffets per day included. As long as crowd was there quality of service is maintained. Dipped a little after peak crowd left. 5 mins walk to an uncrowded Beach.

Good service… Lovely staff… Very helpful and happy faces around. Specially when u travel with the baby. The property is lovely… However could be better maintained.

Rooms quite spacious but not well decorated. Only basic and average looking. Location very far from city, remote and no market or shops in the vicinity. Food at the hotel is quite substandard.

This is not a private beach resort. Just that it is close to the beach. You have to exit from the backside of the resort and walk for 700 meters to reach a public beach. Also, the approach road to the beach is in a very bad condition and there are no lights. At 6.30PM suddenly you are left in a very dark public beach with a dark road back to the resort. So if you are looking for a private beach experience, this is not for you. Though the ambience and facilities are good, the price is way too high considering it's location and absence of a private beach.

Good resort near the beach. Great rooms especially the water facing n the villas with a pool ate good. The food is great as not too many options but whatever is there is very good. Staff is well trained n courteous. Only negative thing is that there games & activities need a drastic make over. As the table games equipment there are ancient and rusted. Do check, before booking, if these have been upgraded or not and not fall for the photos.

Lovely resort, food is great. The best part is the boat ride, dont miss that for anything. Its a natural wonder to walk in the middle of the bay as the floor is shallow.

Excellent location, food. Enjoyed our 2 nights stay with great fun… Best part is a beach just a 2 min walk and that too with no public crowd… food was awesome … Great hospitality from entire staff.

We went there for the weekend — me, my sister and our girls. Do not go there basis the fact that it is a property at the beach. The structure could be anywhere. The approach to the beach was not good. It is a common beach, and very very dirty. Went with the girls to watch sunrise. My daughter who loves to pick up shells did not want to spend time there as there was only plastic littered all around. The rooms were ok. And so was the service. Food was nothing great. This place needs attention.

The place has nice ambience which leverages on the beach nearby. The view is absolutely stunning. Room service needs some improvement but overall the service is nice. Sometimes the prices might be steep so be careful of the time that you go there.

'Worth the money' One of the most beautiful resorts in Pondy. Excellent hospitality. Loved the resort for its service and behaviour of staff. Special thanks to Mr. Sreenivasan for his outstanding service. You can even have access to paradise beach, by means of boats (arranged exclusively for the guests of wind flower guest house). Chill yourself in the ornately designed luxury resort.

This is a very spacious and cozy property by the side of the chunnambar river. The place is pretty calm, but the kitchen should be closed for guaranteed calmness. Otherwise the kitchen exhaust noise is a big nuisance. Thanks to the noise isolation inside the rooms, which was a great relief during the day. The beach (chinnaveerampattnam) is accessible from the resort, but the access is not private. After 6pm, the marine police is not allowing public. Regarding safety, there are resort folks everywhere guarding the perimeter. The biggest frustration at the resort was the food. For a beach resort, the food should be mouth watering. But, we got undercooked or overcooked food, both at in room dining and also at the buffet restaurant bistro. Given, both breakfast and dinner are part of the package, if the resort concentrate on food quality and taste, I am sure more guests would love to flock to there. Overall, this is a great place to visit.

We had been there for one night stay. It's not a very big resort, but it's proximity to the beach made the stay wonderful. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff is very courteous and accommodating. Overall a pleasant experience at the resort.

Great resort to to spend quiet and peaceful time. The resort is beautiful with trees and manicured grass all around. It is overlooking the paradise beach and the view is breathtaking. The spread of the buffets at the restaurant here are vast but the quality of food can definitely be worked on. The rooms are spacious but are very dim.

Nice place. The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable. The staff is very courteous and always have a smile on. They are quite helpful. The food is tasty, but they dont have lot many varieties. It fills up the stomach, but if you are looking for a wide varieties, you might be disappointed. But I feel that does not matter with overall experience being great. Would surely recommend this.

When we entered the road was like some village road but then you find this beautiful property… with extraordinary hospitality from staff… food is great… best place for couples and family as well.

We were a group of 24 people from IBM, Bangalore. We were given a very decently priced group package with very neat & clean rooms. Hospitality was just too good. Food at the resort was good. I would rate breakfast spread as the best, lunch & dinner was ok. Ok… being in Pondy, that too on the shore there was no much seafood on the menu. But overall it was a very good experience & wish to visit again.

Beautiful resort right next to the beach the staff were extremely helpful and sweet. The room was well maintained and clean. Food served at bistro was yum and good. I would suggest to make the desserts and breads, donuts, pastry a little more nice and fresh. The rest of the food served was really good. Enjoyed the stay at this place. Worth every penny ☺️

Fantastic friendly staff. The manager Sandeep is extremely helpful and has a very good team in the bistro. The friendliness more than makes up for the access roads that are still being developed. Use GPS / Google maps to get there. U will miss the exit from the main road unless u have the map guidance.

The facility is good. Food is okay. The thing which concern me, they don't know how the hospitality industry works, no new paper, you will get only if you ask, no welcome kit, no welcome drink. And safety is biggest of them. Swimming pool is not cleaned properly and it's accessable by anyone coming to the facility. I was there with my family and same strange group of guys are let in near swimming pool and there are taking selfie with us in background. We quickly left the place. For family's safety first.

Peaceful and away from the city. Beach is in walkable distance. Food is delicious and hospitality is extremely good. Ocean and backwater view from the room is refreshing. Kids love playing in the big chess board located in the lawn.

Windflower is located near paradise beach outside the main Pondi city. The way to the resort is through a village but easy to find by signage. Its located just near the beach and if you take a cottage then you may see the ocean from your backyard. A very comfortable stay, rooms are big and private plunge pool make it all more enjoyable. Surrounding is really good. While the property is really good, What it lacks is the service. Broken crockery and substandard house keeping puts you off. Still would recommend it for a nice breakout stay.

Very nice place and also the staff… The GM of the resort is very polite and was very supportive in check in.

Ambiance is very good. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Very close to the beach (about 2 min walk). It has a nice pool. The restaurant is well maintained and the food is delicious. The staff are also very kind.

Very good hotel neat and clean food are excellent worth staying their we refresh and enjoy well.

Wow! Awesome, really a very good place to stay. We stayed in garden view suit, it was really worth one. And food, it was very tasty.

The resort has seen better days. There was nothing nearby, the beach was littered with trash, and the rooms need to be refurbished. There seems to be a lot of cost cutting going on.
