One of the best resort near Ooty. I have never seen such a beautiful view which we have at this valley. 1. The rooms are very well maintained. 2. Food quality was also awesome 3. Barbeque under the open sky and live kitchen with mild music made my evening 4. The people at resort was always der for everything u need. 5. Tea farm walk with that climate was also amazing. Also I was worried how Wil they manage for 30 people. But they made it with on time food, perfect quality, and cleanliness was also well maintained all over the valley. It's must visit place in ooty if u want to stay.

We had a very good time at the resort. It is located amidst mountains and tea plantation. We took honeymoon suite room at 2nd floor. My favourite part was that balcony where we spent very good time having hot snacks in chill climate. It was a very peaceful holiday for us. I do recommend this resort who needs peace and calm. I gave 4 stars because the food was average and bit costly. Also this resort is located too far from Ooty nearly 30mins of travel. Each time when u need to reach ooty u have to take a cab from resort which costs 600 rs. Overall, it was a fabulous experience for us.

A very well maintained resort located at an Excellent location, right beside a lake, the employees are very polite. Being away from the city, it is very peaceful, worth a stay.

Only few rooms have good view, you may not be lucky enough to get them. Check before booking, few rooms have fungus on the ceiling, and were stinking. Not maintained up to the standard, Non working TV frequent follow up required to get it right. Should be their job to see everything functional.

Beautiful place, wonderful ambiance. Good food but less option and half of the food in the menu card was not available when ordered.

It was an amazing place with a great view and scenery. The food in restaurant was great but the service was very slow. They had great amenities like gym, table tennis, carrom and chess.

Peaceful and clean place. But boring food menu. I even got ice cream with previous day's fruits that had been kept in freezer. Fruits were colder than ice-cream.

Situated in middle of a tea estate, a fantastic place to stay. A bit far away from town, friendly staff. Good (although limited in variety) food.

Pretty good hotel. Not exactly a resort. It's located around 13kms from Ooty in some village. They have a very beautiful view from all the rooms. The rooms are pretty clean and well maintained. The room service and the staff is very polite too. Food quality was above average. The pricing is a little steep. They do not have any resort kind of facilities like spa, swimming pool, etc. A basic treadmill is there in the name of gym.

Very nice peaceful place. There are only around 12 rooms so not much disturbance. Ask for rooms overlooking the tea gardens where the views are breath talking. The restaurant also serves great food. Cycles are available for rent. Overall this is the place I will be visiting again and again.

One of the best locations for a resort in ooty. Mind blowing views amidst tea estates. A bit far from city, great place to relax de stress and enjoy the nature. Rooms are clean and spacious. Food is okay but the location steals the show.

15 km drive from Ooty city center to the resort through picturesque winding roads, having your own transport will work to your advantage. Roads are good and doable in any kind of vehicle. Rooms are simple, cozy & clean with comfortable beds, having great views from the room windows/balconies. Rooms are split between the main house and the annex. Service & Hospitality was top notch and they ensured that even smallest of requests were taken care of. There were delays on a couple of occasions but they communicated about it in advance and ensured that you are not left in a lurch.

The view of the Western Ghats from here is amazing, any time of day you look at it. I woke up in the morning all groggy eyed and saw the sunrise and morning mist leaving (picture included). The service is friendly and helpful at anytime. Breakfast had variety, and omelettes can be ordered. The only gripes are that during the winter, there aren't any heaters for the rooms (this can be remedied by asking for extra blankets), and sometimes the water heater will hiccup and give you cold water (probably due to the construction of the place). Additionally, this place seems quite a distance from some of the attractions and vistas. Overall a great place to stay!

It's a really pretty place and I will recommend it as a couple getaway spot. It is located about 20 Km (about 30-45 mins) drive from the Ooty city but if you are looking from a social detox then this is the place to be. The drive is also very pleasant and if you are looking to explore the nature. Then this is the perfect place.

Very nice location for a resort. It is a real hide out for weekends, truly a cozy place. Really love the view from the property. Service is awesome. The restaurant gives us a 270 degree view of the hills surrounding the property, even the Sun is lazy to wake up in the cool mornings, it takes about a hour to come out of the Hills. A recommended place to stay and experience the nature.

Away from the hustle and bustle — but not too far — from the fast-urbanizing Ooty town, surrounded on all sides by lush green tea plantation lies this resort at the sleepy village of Nanjanad. If you want to spend a couple of days taking in the beauty of western ghats while indulging yourself in outdoor activities, then this is the place for you. Spend at least a day or two staying in the resort without going for sightseeing somewhere else. The bone piercing morning chill, spectacular views of tea plantations on sunrise, exhilarating rounds of cycling are some of those experiences you can bring back with you. Food is good but variety is limited and may seem a bit pricey. Room rates are also a bit on the high side, but well worth it, if you are going to spend your time in the resort. Direct public transportation is not available, but the resort can arrange if requested.

One of the best. But little bit ouside from town. The manger is a nice guy. Staff are very gd though comfortable in english. Food is awsome. Rooms very good with all facilty. Perfect for famliy and couples.

Small and decent place to stay. Recommended only for stay not much in resort. The places around the place have some good views including Emrald Dam. The nature is at it's best.

This resort is 12 kms outside ooty, which is perfect. Extremely clean and comfortable rooms. We stayed in an amazing family room. The ambience, grounds, the infrastructure, staff… loved it all. Most importantly all the info given on the website is absolutely true. Do visit this place, highly recommended!

It is a beautiful and Serene place… it is away from the crowded spots in Munnar. Looks like everything they have advertised. I would suggest they include more activities to do in and around the location. Best placr to chill with a loved one or friends.

The resort is located in middle of the beautiful tea gardens. The experience is awesome.

Its really an amazing place to stay. Far away from crowdy, noisy concrete jungle. Fresh view. Fresh breath everything I so lively… Secondly the services are great and worth for money… Staff is very humble and courageous.

This is the worst resort I have visited. The service was Pathetic. It is at remote place with access to nothing. Manager is rude. No service at all. I repeat poor service. I ordered food for my baby at 8:00PM, I Placed order at 7:00 PM. The food came at 9:00 PM but they did not get food for baby. I was in this property for 2 days. 3rd day I have to catch my flight early morning therefore, I cleared my dues in the night itself and informed manager that I will leave tomorrow morning early. My package included breakfast but I told him that I will only have tea and leave. Next morning at around 8:00AM when I called reception for tea they said its paid because breakfats starts at 8:30AM. When I was leaving, manager was not at his place for more than 30 mins. Though I have cleared my dues, they asked me to wait till manager arrive. I could have missed my flight. This is the worst place. Though our government have applied GST, they charge you service tax for food in addition, they do not accept card for food. Only Cash payment is accepted as they do not have GST number. Black money. Don't ever visit it.

I'm still not over the dream, Western Valley Resort was. Truly divine. An utopia. If you're up for a retreat, a laid back vacation and don't really have to visit the city much, this place is for you. Beautifully setup amidst the backdrop of the Nilgiris and various tea estates, this resort looks like it's been placed in the lap of nature by the good Lords in the heaven themselves. About a 13 km drive from the commercial road, Ooty, this place has got you covered on almost everything you may need for your vacation. The crew is terrific too! People like Mani, Devaraj, Vivek and Sudhakar make sure you are comfortable throughout the stay. They are highly professional and hospitable when it comes to ensuring their guests have a good time. I vouch for them! Totally! Check for their rooms in the Gulmohar block for they come with amazing views, especially the rooms named Cypress and Cedar. Although, I'm sure that any room in the premises is a great deal. Exquisite, Elegant and Classy! They have a patio too which gives an amazing landscape view. You can slouch in for a good read and just go lost. Also, check for activities like shooting, bike ride and bonfire. There are two pairs of birds too, white pigeons and ducks, and they're extremely beautiful, adding to the charm the resort oozes. Western Valley Resort, I'm definitely coming back!

A very calm and quiet scenic place. Friendly people. Good service. Nice to visit with family and stay away from the cacophony of the city.

It's like a heaven and the place was very beautiful, They provide healthy foods and tha staffs are giving the more respect and satisfaction to all customers , wonderful garden view expected tea plant.

Best location and everyone will thoroughly enjoy the scenic and picturesque ambience. Manager Bala was very friendly and every staff's were very professional and friendly. Worth the money.

Beautiful place away from crowded City (Ooty). Resort is located inside a small village. If you want to spend time in cool place and live with nature, then this is the place. Only thing service needs to be faster, otherwise it's the best place to stay in ooty.

20 minutes drive from a traffic nightmare called ooty. In midst of verdant tea gardens and vegetable patches, birds and a rising sun wake you up. A bit pricy but worth every penny. A 2 year old resort with good housekeeping and topiaries.

Isolated from the tourist congested centre of Ooty, this resort offers a tranquil view of a valley that is sure to calm your soul. Excellently maintained rooms and warm staff add to the experience. Might need to book a cab or bring your own vehicle to get here but it's well worth it.

Location of the resort is only good. It is claimed as three star property but our experience was very bed. There is no hot water available in the morning. There is no security person in the hotel except on the main gate. No service after 10.00 p. M. Though the location is 15 K. M. Away from town, there is no activity to do in the resort. For the driver accommodation is charged extra who is given a common room. We have been given and charged for executive rooms but there is no towels and nepkins changed daily. It is changed every three days. Even shaving kit and brush etc. If asked for are on chargeble basis Food is of average quality but charges are for three star property abd because there is nothing near by u have to have food from the resort only. There are only two tea/ coffee bags in the room which u can consume in the morning then u have to pay for the tea etc. Which is rediculous. availabe.

Perfect get away in ooty from the crowd and busy schedules of the city. It's quite its calm and has a breathtaking view.

1. Very costly 2. Food is good but too costly. But u can do nothing if u have booked this place. No other go as there are no nearby places to get outside food. 3. No proper play area/any amenties 4. Bicycles are not in good condition 5. Literally no power supply in this place. If u plan for just freshening up and going out, this place is ok otherwise if u plan to stay indoors and relax, this is a BIG NO place. Power supply unavailability is a big let down. 5. Very good customer service 6. Rooms are clean Overall — Below par for the price. Look out for other options.
