Centrally located, good food, good staff.

The hospitality of the staff is simply superb. Room service is also good and the rooms are well maintained. The non veg restaurant serves mouth watering and finger lick dishes. The service is also good and a hygenic place. Convenient location taxi service was prompt and the drivers were very polite.

Located in main area and easy to reach railway station and bus stand. Located just next to head post office. Hospitality is very good and hotel rooms are very well cleaned and full furnished. At ground floor restaurant is available.

Compact rooms economical room services are awesome. When you leave there will be many people saluting asking for tips. I happily gave them for the service they provided.

Worth for the taste. Spicy and nice. The food which they are preparing is hygienic too. The restaurant is neat and clean. Even Chinese item food is so tasteful. And our traditional food for many districts is also available. Great to stay and enjoy in the restaurant.

The lodging facility is good. Room service is good. But the restaurants, both veg and non veg are below average. For food one can go to Raya's Grand which is reasonably good. Otherwise Kumbakonam is known for good restaurants and mess & u can have there. Thanks Also don't take taxis from hotel to go around as they charge exhorbitantly. Better to call Fast track.

Located next to Head Post Office of kumbakonam. Veraity of rooms available with awesome service. You can GET good food NV and VEG in sathars which is inside of the hotel at Ground Floor.

Hotel Royal is located next to head post office Kumbakonam. The mahamaham tank is only walkable distance from the hotel. The accommodation is good and nice car parking is also available. We can easily access the Kumbakonam Bus stand and railway station.

Location is a major plus as it's very near to the railway station. Rooms, especially bathrooms, were clean and spacious too. Had a wonderful stay. Only pain point is their service staffs. Everytime they provide some service, they expect us to give money. Thats very irritating in a 3 star hotel.

Decent place for a town like kumbakonam. Near all the main temples. They even offer all the extra services like concierge as well. That's really nice.

Could have been better. If they add a vegetarian restaurant and improve service quality it can become popular place to stay.

Average Hotel with ok pricing. They have highlighted the same as a 3 star hotel but it's just a furnished lodge with a good restaurant. Rooms are clean but a bit small. The highlight though is the restaurant which serves good veg/non-veg.

Good place. Centrally located. Rooms are comfortable. No in house restaurant. Was a short stay. I think they have a choice of three places with suitable budgets. One opposite to where I stayed.

Though Budget type, three star facilities, infrastructure, sizes. Cosy place. Spacious rooms according to your budget. There are few hiccups which are ignorable. Geysers, air-conditioning, Wi-Fi everything provided. Plenty of courteous staff. Room service served very quickly. Decent food varieties. Typical local flavour. Both restaurants are good. General cleanliness to be improved. Actually I was worried after read some negative reviews, still took risk. But I am more than satisfied because of their courteousness.

Hotel is very good has 24 hr checkout. Online booking it's time mentioned in the booking voucher. Efficient check-in and staff is very efficient. Veg restaurant was ok, not very good.

Did an online booking through a travel site. Check in was very smooth and fast. The room was very spacious and reasonably good. The location of the hotel is in the middle of the city and convenient. Service was adequate. I stayed on the first floor in the middle. In spite of that the room was not very quiet during the night and day. The hotel is in on a busy road. Parking was tight but adequate. Room service was OK. No restaurant was available in the premises.

The food at Raya's (in the Raya's foodplace) is fantastic. Wifi works well in the rooms and the service provided was very friendly.

Hotel is good. I had asked the person at the booking counter to book a room in raya's Grand and he had booked in a different small dungeon room. The staffs are not clear with understanding our instructions.

Their heritage room was great for four people. It would hv bn great if the room had two bathrooms.

The facility is in the heart of the city and is close to temples and shopping. The accom is decent with restaurant and room service.

Not worth for money. Rooms are not fresh not even room freshners are used. Toilets are stinky. We kept killing Moths in the toilet during our stay.

Rooms are spacious and comfortable. All people are money minded always storming around asking for tips. Whenever we see them we should give tips. One of the helper boys faked around in the name of cleaning car and got money from us. They keep bugging for money all the time.

Good place for accommodation worth clean rooms and friendly service staff. The vegeterian restaurant at the rear of the hotel is a good place to dine. They also provide rental car facility for visits to the temple in and around Kumbakonam.

Worst hotel donot stay. At 2000 poppy's is good new hotel. All corporate is good at poppy's. This hotel will not give water also in room u hv to buy. Food go and eat outside.

Room size not sufficient. Very small. Even not able to move freely. My booking through Make mytrip. So they allotted this room. Veg. Restaurant. Its situated behind the hotel. Not able find. Not up to the mark.

Nice location and easy access to most of the places. Double occupancy room was quite smaller. Cannot move around if we place an extra bed. Probably they should think of differentiating smoking vs non-smoking rooms, initially we got a room and it was full of cigarette smell but they have changed it once we asked for a different room.
