I stayed here for 15 days and my experience was outstanding. The location and view from the hotel was really nice. Opposite to Lemon Tree was Park Hyatt. Staff were so kind and full of warmth. Instantly they would provide you with anything you need. Breakfast buffet is really nice. However, few dishes in the menu were not up to the mark and quite expensive. But there were few dishes which I loved and ordered more than once. — Chicken Steak, Biryani, Mac and Cheese and Stuffed Paratha.

Average room. The room which was given to me was very very small in size. Bathroom was also very small. The bathroom door, if opened fully hits the commode seat (imagine how small the bathroom is). In breakfast the menu is not very lavish. Taste was good.

Nice place for a homely stay. Clean, spacious room with 24 hrs open restaurant. Staffs are friendly. Menu has a wide range to choose from. The location brings more advantage. My window view exposed the lush green Chennai.

I went for one training and training room was good and well maintained. Lunch was also food. But it's a kind of maze to go first floor of you have taken wrong turn.

Currently I am staying here… I am corporate customer. This place is very nice… very friendly staff… food quality is Very good… we have variety of foods to eat… On 1st floor there is Gym that Very good thing for me. I will suggest other to opt this hotel…

I had an amazing first-time experience. The room was not big but the room service & hospitality at the Coffee Shop was excellent. Good food.

It's located on a noisy traffic junction so say goodbye to sleep. Usually staff in lemon tree are responsive, this one was way below par… The ceiling fan in my room wouldn't switch off and 3 calls later no one even bothered to turn up at my room…

The hotel lives up to its branding of being a citrus hotel as the moment you enter, the ambience is filled with nice citrus smell. The rooms are good. The food is really good. The staff is also decent. Best part being, they employ several differently abled people who work in perfect sync. Had a real pleasant stay in the hotel. Most recommended for stay.

It's a decent property. A budget hotel. It's near to the airport. A 20-30 minutes drive. And also close to the city centre. Good friendly staff, decent food, nice clean rooms, parking, fitness centre, swimming pool, and a lot more. When you are looking for budget hotel, a comfortable stay, this property is quite good. You will get a good idea of the property, from the pictures that I have posted.

Very horrible experience. Since check-in met people fighting with the front-office staff. FO staffs were making unnecessary comments on the guest. Rooms are very old. There were patches on the wall. F&B staff were taking their own sweet time to serve and were having a totally indifferent attitude. Would never recommend this property to anyone. There are much better hotels in the same price range.

Lemon smell prevails everywhere. Even the soap, body lotion, hand wash everything is lemon flavoured. Room size are small, but very comfortable. Overall experience is good.

Hotel is situated near to Railway, metro and airport. Easily accessible. Staff is good. I see differently abled staff was more caring and highly active. Rooms are compact not that specious. Restaurants were good except servant was continuously insisting write a review. But the same servant was caring too.! Overall it was good experience.

A very good hotel has a good infrastructure and rooms are really good. This hotel has branches all over india really had a good time in here. Cant say excellent but better.

Lemon Tree more of a name. Standard small rooms. Reservations done through their call centre. What I don't like about them is that their rates keep fluctuating from decent levels to very high levels which is not worth. It is not a five star. Their upkeep too is not. Water in the shower cubicle does drain. Rooms very small. Just about a ok place in all…

A good and cool place to stay, rooms are neat and clean only problem is that they are small in size, rest every thing is perfect. Food is good and the dining area is also spacious. Had facilities like gym, swimming pool. Overall a good place to stay with family.

Great staff! Very helpful and friendly. Food is very tasty! ☺The rooms are nice for an older building. Pool is nicely taken care of and pleasant to swim. Traffic is noisy as anywhere in Chennai. Airplanes are sometimes bothersome.

Great place and nice staff. But rooms facing traffic side are subject to a lot of noise throughout the night. Hotel needs to double pane their windows to sound proof them.

A decent hotel with nice breakfast buffet. We visited for the breakfast buffet. It was wholesome with good variety of dishes. Good mix of Continental with South Indian dishes. The only drawback is that the hotel doesn't have a valet parking option.

Didn't permit me to check in early even with additional charges. Refused to give a silent room for meeting. Had to attend in the reception with music ON. Could check in only after 2 (atleast for me). Since I was working that meant I came back from office and checked in at 9 pm. Sprout in wash room dripping. Floor remains wet. I didn't find much cooperation. Got all the missing hospitality from the restaurant. Thanks to them. Swimming pool is 4 feet deep. Elevators are high tech. You need your room access card to use lift also. But it was a problem for me. Had to reactivate or change the card. First 1 day I walked stairs after some attempts in lift and then the card got fixed. Why high tech lifts if not friendly?

Very nice hotel. Rooms are apt for business travellers. Food is amazing. There is a parking for visitors. Very prompt staff. It took me 2 mins literally to check in/ check out. Room service is good. If you are planning to stay for a week or more, do check out their loyalty program. There are great offers too.

A very good budget accommodation in Guindy area. The hotel is centrally located and easy to access. They have a coffee shop adjacent to lobby. The restaurant is decent and quality is OK. The rooms are decent size with all basic requirements. The hotel is disabled friendly and wheelchair accessible.

The hotel and the rooms are good. They employ few staff with hearing and speech impairment and they do an excellent job. Especially the guy who used to be at the reception to welcome the guests. But the room service was poor. Despite telling they kept only one towel for 2 guests. The shampoo and hand wash was over and was not refilled despite telling. We asked for a glass of milk at night which never came. And the real inconvenience was caused by their rule of giving only one access card per room. If there is one guest in the room and the other goes out can't enter unless opened from inside. My father had to wake up just to open the door.

The ambience of the room is good. However, the same cannot be said about service. For instance, they didn't have a bath towel inside the room. Had to request for it. The time taken to get one was forever.

Nice Hotel at prime location. Rooms are above average with all basic services. Hotel is old constructed and needs renovation at some places. Rooms are not that spacious, good for solo or business trip but not for family. Food is good but overpriced.

Good. Neat rooms. The complimentary buffet breakfast was delicious with good variety of food… but hospitality and reception desk people are not responding fast. Getting things after 2 hrs of call from house keeping. Price of the room is costlier for this service. I paid 5298 rs for a stay from 8 am to 8 pm same day.

Good property, centrally located. It's right next to a main road and hence a bit noisy. Must visit the Elliot's beach for good food and relaxing views.

Worst hotel you will find inside the city. Their food is good it's all about staff and management. They are ready to live with lot of excuses and they don't have any shame in accepting it. Very poor service to the core, staffs doesn't know how to interact with customers, especially food department.

A budget hotel to stay within 10kms distance of Chennai Airport. A place offers good breakfast and lunch/dinner options. The rooms are decent size if you are staying as a single person, but for more than 1 person, one might be left feeling for more space. But overall, for a quick trip, it's more than decent place.

Slightly costlier. But, early check in and late check out available for moderate cost. I availed both. Rooms are neat and tidy.

Good ambience, limited food options We went for lunch buffet. Choice of food is limited. Food taste is mild and lacks flavour. Felt a little over priced for the options available. Certainly not worth for paying service charge on top of 18 % GST. If you just need a place with a decent ambience for a meeting but not specific about great food, you can choose this place!

Went there for late night dinner; less manpower to serve guests in the restaurant. Taste and ambience are excellent.

This is good hotel, even though the rooms are small, they are nicely maintained. The breakfast and dinner which I availed are good. Buffet dinner most of the days they serve variety of tasty fish items. Approx 850/ — for buffet dinner is a good option.

This Hotel is Amazing. The staff are wonderful and the food is brilliant. I am here on a longstay (3 months) and the have made it great. Today they asked me to plant a sapling. I have put a picture of the guys with the new sapling.

Very average hotel. Not much you can expect from a budget hotel, but the entire floor smelt like someone urinated all over it. Disgusting.

Worst 4 stars hotel I have been in India so far… Because of business trip I tried a lot of hotel, and this one is the lowest ratio quality/price I found. Noisy restaurant (like a canteen), expensive buffet (1000inr) for the food quality. Asked for a quiet room (business trip) and the room is on street side with a lot of klaxxon. Finally, price is 7000inr+30%tax, which is super expensive for the poor overall quality.

The communication Gap is more in front desk person's to person about Wi-Fi they are cheating to customer Example: 1. Night front office person told Wi-Fi is free and I used 10 minutes it when I came to check out he was charged me as a Wi-Fi charge 400Rs extra the person name is Mr. Deepak sing Front office he was don’t no how to talk with customer and black mailing me if I not paid he was not going to leave me to out because I have meeting so I paid and came out and I completing this in consumer court Soooo please don’t go to this hotel if your gentle man This case happen today morning 7 o clock.

This was my third stay here and I would like to share my experience. The service was excellent, staff is experienced, nice and very helpful. I stayed here for a week for my office work. No doubt the property is located at a good place but like to share my experience with staff members whom I interacted was very nice — especially at time of Morning Breakfast and Lunch. "Samresh" a customer oriented guy, always ready to go extra mile for the customers, few other staff members I felt the same hospitality experience, Barani, Habib, Washim, Rajesh and Bhowmik they are doing very well. Also, the housekeeping person" Iqbal" very polite and humble in his approach. Rooms are clean and fresh with lemon fragrance. Overall my stay was great and I am looking forward to come here again. Thanks.

Maintains the quality. Room was excellent. Reception was very good. Internet in the business centre was very good. Facilities were excellent. The buffet breakfast was also very good. But the room rate was DIFFERENT on different times (between the time of booking and checking out) and with different receptionists! This was very very sad.

I went to India on a business trip in March 2012. * I booked a room in Lemon Tree Chennai on the internet from US (a couple of weeks before) because of its 4-star rating. * When I reached there, the front desk person was not able to assign a room for the first day. He was very apologetic. Some lame excuse was given about some guest who got sick and had to extend the stay. I was offered a free dinner as a bribe which I accepted. * I was transported to a different hotel recommended by Lemon Tree. I was promised that the other hotel was also a 4-star one. However, that hotel (do not want to name it) room was very stinky. Before checking in I asked the front desk person for a non-smoking room, but was assigned to a room that had cigarette odor in the carpet and there was no proper ventilation. The person at the front desk was more interested in charging me Rs. 4500 up front. The room was not worth that money. The bathroom needs to be reworked. The morning breakfast was okay. * Since I did not have a phone, my wife tried to reach me at Lemon Tree from the US. She was misinformed that I canceled my booking and moved to another hotel! She was confused and finally able to reach me at the other hotel. * I had to run away from the other hotel next day to Lemon Tree for my 2nd day of stay in Chennai. Lemon Tree had sunk its reputation by recommending me the other hotel. * Everything costs money at Lemon Tree. There was no unlimited internet connection. Only ½ hour is free.

Very expensive rates at the bar. More than many better places around. Stay here. Just don't use the bar.

Very nice stuff. Food isn't great and repetitive and the pool is extreemly small. Other than that, I am enjoying my stay.
