Pugmarks Jungle Lodge Hotel

I stayed here last weekend. It's located right next to the forest, and not too far from Kattikulam (the road was also in decent condition considering the rains). Needless to say it's surrounded by lush greenery and is a good place to relax. Food was homemade and delicious. More than anything, the host is very considerate. I booked a windward room, but they upgraded me to cedar suite without any extra charges, as it was free and they thought I'll be more comfortable there. Overall a very good experience.

Had a peaceful and quite weekend. We can get our own "water" and drink there. They have a nice setup for barbecue. Stayed in the cottage. There's a tent for 4 people also, but no plumbing or electricity. The towels had a wierd smell, better get your own. Dont forget odomos and a bug spray like 'hit'.

A beautiful place to hide out from your daily routine, in a nature's arm. It's a wonderful place, for resting and enjoying nature. Only thing you have to be careful while selecting the room Staff is very cooperative, First day complimentary breakfast provide was good Next day quantity and quality was on diminishing side. Food rates are on higher side but main market is very close, you can experience real Kerala taste It's a wonderful place to stay away from City life, you can see different birds and few animals around this place.

We enjoyed our stay at the lodge. The support staff were very accommodating and really pleasant and helpful.

Very good resort as it is completely secluded from the main wayanad town. The name goes with the theme of jungle. Very warm and welcomed service by the hotel staff even the hotel manager. A best place to stay and relax amidst the nature.

Placement is excellent. You don't get much more in the jungle than in this resort. Staff are good. But there are details that could be improved. Still highly recommended.

The place is really beautiful. The staff are helpful. Don't get tired of asking inane questions. Must try the forest machan to spot wildlife. You will usually spot something from up there. The room we were staying in kept tripping electricity for some reason and they couldn't get the electrician the entire weekend. So kinda ruined our experience. But overall it was really awesome.

Lovely and neat place. The interiors decors were detailed and helpers were available at our peck and call. Bonus points for yummy and light food. The manager also helped us in making our plans for the stay. They speak English among other few local languages. So communication will not be a problem if you don't know Malayalam.

Great escapade in the middle of the forest. Amazing experience.

Bad service nd below avg rooms.

They upgraded our room, excellent location, very good views, has a portion of the forest in its backyard. Some activities like archery and rope climbing are dilapidated. Organises jungle tours. Very tasty food. Good service. No signal for Airtel, bsnl works fine.

Good for a family stay. Home made dinner and breakfast.

Excellent jungle stay, luxurious rooms in jungle settings, ziplining and a few soft adventure activities, makes the stay exciting for children. A watch tower adds to the wildlife experience. Excellent food and simple and committed staff. Highly recommended.

Good place in week days, very Safe nights in garden and dinner with the shore of jungle.
