The family is very friendly. The place is really close to the backwaters. It's very neat and well maintained by a family. They provide you with all basic amenities. I had a really nice time on my visit there and overall it's worth every penny spent.

Good place to stay and good people. Pretty small rooms and less attractions around the site.

It's a quiet place near the Zuri Resorts, so you don't necessarily have to eat dinner at your residence, you can just stroll along and eat in other nearby resorts. However, the heritage lustre of this place is charming which makes it a great place and doesn't create a hole in your pocket. Also a serene sunset spot and canal is right besides the property, which makes it attractive for nature enthusiasts.

Amazing place to stay at Kumarakom. Place is close to the lake but not the boating Jetty. While there aren't very many places to eat around, they themselves serve good food if ordered in advance. Rooms are clean and reasonably furnished. There is a nice homely feel to the place. There is a Church right in front of the place and thus you wake up to Church bells each morning. Superb value for money kind of place.

Location: Coconut Creek Home stay is located next to the Nava Nazareth Church in Kumarkom. Mr. And Mrs. Babu are the onsite help. The property has 3 rooms Rose, Lily and Lotus which serve as accommodation. The rooms are very small and there is hardly any space for maneuvering. The rooms and toilet are clean though. Ameneties: Towel and toilet paper is provided. The towels are too small to wrap around ones waist. Hot water is available via electric instant heater. Wi-Fi is available. Food: Food options are limited but the food is tasty, nutritious and homely. Breakfast is complimentary. 4 meals for 2 people cost us ₹1800 which also includes tea and coffee.

Its good place if money minded and has really got a lot for photography. Well maintained and fresh. Only concern is tgat it doesnot have any facility for drivers stay or food and is a bit far from the town…

Calm and quite stay. Love the atmosphere and the rooms were clean and comfortable even though small.

A decent property situated in kumarakom. Breakfast was good. Rooms are very small. Washrooms are also small. Property is very well maintained. There was a helper who managed the cooking. The owner didn't meet us. Over all its worth at 2400 bucks.

Great experience here. Good natured people and a tranquil atmosphere. Authentic Kerala food. Order food 2 hours in advance. Reasonable price. Contact the owner on email for booking, they answer any queries well.

Just came from Coconut Creek. Very small room for the price we paid. Food was ok but expensive for the taste it had. We ordered veg briyani and got something that was like tomato rice. Complimentary breakfast was good. The place is secluded and peaceful. This is for people who want to sit back and relax and not for those who want to see places since every site seeing spot is far from here.

Kerala vacation review ================ We booked a houseboat and transportation van through coconut creek >good food & service from boat staff >van driver was courteous to give us a ride to airport on the day if unexpected harthal (Bandh) >lack of furniture (ex. Chairs & sofa) in rooms >no mirror above wash basin >no terrace on boat >lack of coordination between coconut creek and van driver >coconut creek staff didn't communicate with the van driver all the agreed upon services (stops at certain places, a/c van). The driver needed to constantly verify services that we paid for. > coconut creek staff didn't pay or co-ordinate with the driver the last day's transportation to airport. As that day was declared as harthal, we were stuck after being dropped by the houseboat. The van driver was courteous to give us a ride to airport even if the coconut creek staff was not available to confirm payment and not available to pick the call. Overall I would give 3 star to boat and 4 star to van service. But I would give half star for the poor co-ordination by coconut creek and I would never use them for any future vacation planning.

We had very bad experience with this homestay, we took two rooms. One room was very much congested and the air condition was not functioning properly and TV also was not in working condition, we complained the same to owner but there was no alternatives and solution and communication from him. You must improve your guest services more friendly, we expected a homely atmosphere but no one even didn't speak to us until we we request or ask something. And we are really wondering how and on what basis you got these awards which you have posted on your wall. Overall out of 5 we give less than one star.

Value for money — no frills place. Accommodation is decent. Food may be a problem as they do not really have a restaurant and choices are very limited. Mostly local food available and at steep prices. They have a nice compound around the property.
