Joys Hotels & Resorts, Munnar Resort

There is no facility for drivers. So they don’t like to go there. So that we can’t enjoy the trip without they’re happy. If they are not happy, they don’t give us a good service.

It's away from Munnar City. Surrounded by a thick mist in the evening through the whole night. Nice rooms. Reasonable price. Nice breakfast. Dinner's okay (A little pricey for an average Indian). Facilities for bon fire. Has an artificial tree house. Nice views.

Rooms are ok Village experiance, car parking is not good No drivers room. No hot water.

It was really great experience in this resort. Best part is the sunrise point in this resort itself. Food is good u will get complementary breakfast for everyone. Due to rain we miss bonfire but it is available in normal days.

It's so beautiful. They charges are very nominal… the balcony view is breath taking. It's bit far from city so the travel hours will increase but it's worth it.

This resort is located in a good location and very good for the guests. But, at the same time guest's cab drivers couldn't sleep well because of two dogs Barking whole night. Driver's dormitory isn't soundproofed. If drivers not getting a good sleep after a long drive, it's a very bad situation. Thats affecting to the guest's safety on the road. (moving around with a sleepless driver) So please do something.

Best views if you are going to Munnar. But one disadvantage that the hotel as very far from Munnar. One of the best views from balcony. Buffet is cheap but mess food is better than that and it is not worth the money we spend. Giving 3 stars just because of the Scenery.

Everything is good, rooms, food, staff and location is on top of the hill. But the problem is as it is located far from the munnar may be 13km, the road was blocked when we were in munnar trip, so we had to do journey 2h for 45 km from munnar to reach the joys resort hotel, 2h is not a small journey, its time killing our trip 4h per day nearly. Make sure if u want to book this hotel, that road is fine or not. Our travel agent told that the road is fine at the time of booking. But at the time of journey the road was not good.

The only resort in chinnakanal with fantastic view. They serve awesome food, delicious. Much polite and friendly staff. Ready to help at all time.

Location is best what u can get here. Every basic facilities r available with average kinda food. This resort has point made for photoshoot, which was best.

Resort gives you nice mountain view rooms… but food is very worst in this hotel… If u want to stay in a room irrespective of food then it is must stay resort…

Very poor… I suggest not to visit… very less variety of food for package visitors and that too not tasty and even after complaining for the non availability of toiletries and other mentioned welcome baskets they were not provided … Even we were asked to share an electric kettle with the adjoining room guests just because we were known to each other.

The best resort I have ever visited. Wonderful staff. Great service. Its bit far from Munnar (it became worse as one of the road to Munnar is closed). All the travelers please confirm whether the road is closed or open. Other than this resort is marvelous. You can see the pics captured in the morning. Had a wonderful stay in Joys resort. Superb scenic location of this resort is that for your your eyes. The morning sunrise view is best from from your bedroom. Spacious rooms with good amenities. Tree house. Fun Activity space. Polite staff. Although in the bedroom I was staying to was not working in one room so I had to go to living room to watch TV. When asked I was said that range is not good in that room.

The resort is at nice location and with the room view opening outwards the hills made the stay more beautiful. The staff is very friendly. However, the staff could be a bit more professional in providing essential toiletries.

Well maintained, view from the suite is great. Campfire, photopoint, treehouse, restuarant, cycling for visitors… liked this resort.

Very good place, has a one of the best balcony view and it's less expensive. The food is okay not that great, staffs are very nice too.

Rooms and food is good but the services are so so. There were other issues like power cuts, no proper generator backup, no hot water and very far from the Munnar town.

We really had a wonderful experience with joys. The kind of view that hotel provide is exceptional. Over all joys team exhibited a commendable piece of hospitality. Mr. Namith (Manager) was very friendly and co-operative. Thank you team joys.

Excellent location, can see the tea gardens around, early morning rising sun, birds chirping. Rooms were decent, but we had complaints when we occupied the room, shower not working, toilet wasn't cleaned, TV cable service not working, but the room service quickly attended to our calls and set everything right. Another couple who checked in with us had problems with geyser, the room was changed the next morning. I think if the services were checked in advance before checking in it would prevent waste of time. Morning complimentary breakfast was ok, nothing special. This hotel scores purely for its location, it's beautiful around.

It's a great grab for the view of the rooms. Make sure you grab the executive rooms with the eastward view. The staff is very friendly and warm.

We just visited the place during the easter holidays. It was a sudden plan and we booked a room. I went along with husband and our kid of 1.25 yrs age. I was really worried about her during the stay. But the service provided by the hotel was so good in all aspects. We enjoyed, specially to say my kid enjoyed well. Minor problem is with parking space. Have to find little more parking area.

Giving 4 star for excellent views, big rooms, friendly staff. A very average restaurant.

One of the Best Luxury Resort in Munnar, And the best resort with great views from balcony and good surrounding with Tea Gardens & orange trees. There are many activities for kids to play… excellent location for honeymooners and family tourists …
