Review of Conrad Bengaluru 5*

Located in a Central venue — Conrad is a great dining option. We hosted a farewell dinner at the Caraway Kitchen — One of the kitchens at the Hotel. They dinner buffet costs 2000, Why I give it a 4 instead of a 5 is because it misses to feel like — Value for Money. The staff is really amazing and wants to serve you and bring you whatever you like. And the ambiance is great and the place is nice and silent. About the food, As I said, the food misses to meet the value for money mark. In starters they have a very finite set of options especially in the Indian Menu. But they serve really nice Dim-sums (Loved the Non-Veg Ones). However the Pizza was pretty bland & just fine, doesn't match the standard of the place. (Would appreciate if the team works on it) About the Salads, A decent spread, however in the same price a lot of Buffets do offer a greater variety. In the Main Course, I guess they have one of the best spreads to enjoy. Be it sea food, be it Chinese, be in Indian, be it the Pasta Counter, they have a huge variety and really tasty dishes (I would easily give a 5 for the Main Course. ) About desserts, they have a good variety in desserts, Mouses, Tarts, Waffles & Pancakes made to order, cheesecakes, 4 flavors of premium quality ice creams. Something or the other for every sweet tooth. About the drinks, they serve all brands of liquor and some really good collection of Wine. They cocktails are also interesting. Do try the Madras Cafe Cocktail. Overall, a good place for fine dining, however the team can really work on the variety especially in starters. Would recommend people to try this place for sure.
