I had a horrible experience at Tavasmi Hotel, mainly because of the rude and unprofessional staff. The receptionist, in particular, was extremely disrespectful and made me feel very unsafe. As a solo female traveler, I expected at least a basic level of courtesy and security, but unfortunately, I faced the complete opposite.
My checkout time was at 9:00 AM, but at 8:00 AM, the receptionist kept knocking on my door repeatedly. It was disturbing and unnecessary. When I finally opened the door, he started shouting at me, saying, “Vacate the room quickly, another guest has a booking! ” His aggressive tone and behavior were completely unacceptable. This is not how a hotel should treat its guests, especially when they have not even exceeded their checkout time.
Additionally, every evening when I went out, his attitude toward me was terrible. He would pass inappropriate comments, saying things like, “Arpit, you are going out late, we won’t forget this! ” This made me extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. I always returned by 11:30 PM, which is not even that late. People book hotels so they can explore the city, not just stay inside their rooms. If guests are expected to be back by 9:00 PM, then what’s the point of traveling at all?
This hotel was a complete disaster for me. The staff’s rude and intimidating behavior made my stay miserable. I strongly advise solo travelers, especially women, to avoid Tavasmi Hotel.
