Manorama Beach Resort

One of the worst hotel we have stayed in till date. They started cleaning of the room after we checked in the hotel very late. No water was coming in the washroom. Parts of old AC were thrown all over the balcony and it was as it till we check-out. Balcony was very unsafe also. No water jug provided in the room. They provided only 2 small water bottles at the time of check-in. After that no one asked about the water requirement in our 2 night stay. After seeing their negligence towards the customer we decided not to ask for the water. After spending one night in the hotel we asked for change of bed sheet and towels as we had two kids with us. Their staff started giving excuses about the unavailability of extra bed rolls. After telling them 2-3 more times they changed only bed-sheet in the next evening and mopped the room left wet. Changed bed sheet had old stains and holes in it. We feel very happy at least they changed the sheet. We never knew who is the manager to whom we should tell our problems. We faced shortages of water once again in washroom. At the time of check — out the only available male staff was sleeping and remain slept till we check out the hotel in the presence of their night watch-man (looked like 15 years boy) who did the check-out formalities without any writing activity. Not recommended at all for family. The only plus point of this hotel is its location which is near to sea beach and food shops, tea stall were nearby.

Near go this Hotel. Very dirty room. This Hotel don't have own restaurant. If you order food they will take 2/3 hour to deliver your order. No tea/ coffee available.
Most important: the checkout time is 7 AM. They will knock your room at 6.30 AM to checkout. If you ask extra time they will charge you Rs 500 For each house.

Don't visit dis place through online booking and if u visit first negotiate and final it… their is no compromise from th hotel management and to the manager is very nonsence and a super idiot with his talking cally he is rubbish. (prahlad chokarborty) and their is no connection between the two online site booking and the hotel management false and misleading services wll b provided…

Staff behaviour not so good. Rooms are not clean. Service is not good.

It is a nice hotel with excellent location and good comfortable rooms. The downside is that they do not have in house restaurant so you have to take food in rooms only. The staff is good but lacks training and thus the service is not upto the mark. This is not intentional though but just a matter of training. Like they would serve the food from nearby restaurants and keep the plastic packaging intact, rather than put the food in bowls and serve. Overall it is a nice hotel placed in light house beach and is recommended for all.

Location poor, poor ambience, no lift, ac chargeable, no kitchen, no room service, no intercom, very small hotel 4 room on each floor, total 12 rooms, rooms are ok, bedsheet and towel change after 2 days, 2 km from puri beach, general beach is 400 m away.
Hotel is in narrow lane, no view.
