My stay at Mayfair Waves, Puri was truly unforgettable. The hotel offers a perfect combination of luxury, comfort, and excellent hospitality. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained with stunning views and modern amenities.
The staff were professional, courteous, and always willing to assist with a smile. The food was delicious, with a wide variety of options to suit every taste. The location is fantastic, providing easy access to the beach and a peaceful atmosphere for relaxation.
From check-in to check-out, every aspect of my stay exceeded expectations. I highly recommend Mayfair Waves to anyone visiting Puri who is looking for a premium and memorable experience.

We visited Mayfair waves and wanted to try their odia cuisine but had to go to Mayfair heritage. It has two restaurants 1. Two states of kanika where the authentic taste of odia and West Bengal come alive 2. The varandah a multi cuisine restaurant. Ordered the Odia Thali at the kanika to experience authentic Odia cuisine. The variety of dishes was good and the veg pakhala was particularly enjoyable, with a refreshing and authentic taste. However, most of the items in the thali were served cold, which affected the overall dining experience. The food tasted okay, but it would have been much better if the dishes had been served at the proper temperature. Overall, a decent experience, with the veg pakhala being the highlight of the meal. Mayfair waves restaurant Tea pot the multi cuisine restaurant serves the diverse flavours of Indian continental delicacies, and orienta cuisines. The break fast and dinner spread was extensive, offering a wide variety of options to suit different tastes. However, several popular items that ran out took quite a long time to be refilled, which was disappointing and affected the overall experience. While the selection was impressive, the slow replenishment of dishes took away some of the charm and efficiency one would expect from a property of this standard. Overall, the breakfast was good, but better management of refills would significantly enhance the guest experience.

We recently celebrated a birthday event at Mayfair Waves with high expectations, considering the reputation your hotel enjoys in Odisha. Unfortunately, the overall experience did not meet our expectations.
The decoration arrangements were particularly disappointing. The setup appeared very basic and lacked the premium quality and attention to detail that one would expect from a reputed property like Mayfair Waves. The decorations did not reflect the standards associated with your brand and fell short of what was promised for such a special occasion.
Additionally, the complimentary wine bottle provided was a very low-quality Indian brand, which was quite disappointing. Such gestures are meant to enhance the guest experience, but in this case, it felt inconsistent with the premium hospitality image that your hotel promotes.
The food was acceptable, but it was only average and did not match the quality we expected from a hotel of your stature. Given the occasion and the reputation of the property, we anticipated a much higher standard in both presentation and taste.
The only truly positive aspect of the event was your Food and Arrangement Manager, Divakar Babu. He genuinely tried his best to manage the situation and made sincere efforts to improve the experience throughout the celebration. His dedication, professionalism, and willingness to assist are highly appreciated and deserve recognition.

I recently attended a wedding at Mayfair Waves, Puri, and it was a thoroughly disappointing experience.
The vegetarian food served during the wedding functions was extremely poor — completely tasteless, bland, and lacking even basic seasoning. For a property that positions itself as a premium brand, the food quality was shockingly below standard. At a wedding, food is one of the most important aspects, and this was a major letdown.
The property itself is not very large and feels quite underwhelming. There are too many stairs, which makes movement difficult, especially for elderly guests. It certainly does not feel like a luxury resort in terms of layout or convenience.
We were allotted rooms on the Heritage side, but had to walk over to the Waves side every single time for beach access and breakfast. The constant back-and-forth between the two sections was extremely inconvenient and poorly managed.
Most importantly, this property does not live up to the standards of other Mayfair properties in the state. I have experienced much better hospitality, maintenance, and overall quality at other Mayfair resorts. This one falls significantly short of the brand’s reputation.
There are several better properties nearby in Puri that offer superior service, better food, and more convenience. Unfortunately, this stay did not justify the brand name at all.

We had a wonderful stay at this property with its own private beach. The place is neat, clean, and very well maintained, and the rooms are in excellent condition. The food was delicious, and the buffet offered a wide variety of options. The staff were courteous and attentive throughout our stay. Special thanks to Mr. Ashok for going out of his way to take care of guests’ needs at the restaurant.

This is a beautiful property in Puri with excellent ambience and top-notch service. The only downside was a one-hour delay in getting our room; apart from that, everything was perfect. The staff was polite, courteous, and generous throughout our stay.
Will definitely stay here on our next Puri visit.

Just back from Mayfair Heritage Puri.
It was a dream experience.
I spent my 50th birthday as a solo traveller, and Mayfair made it one of the most memorable one. Special mention Mr Dabaraj Mohanty for going an extra mile and making the stay so comfortable, safe and special And truly memorable.
Ashok was fabulous with in breakfast service.
If you want to have a dream holiday.
Just think Mayfair.
Before we had stayed at Mayfair Kalimpong and it was phenomenal.
Mayfair Bhubaneshwar is like living a surreal experience.
I can proudly state that Mayfair is the pride of India!

Today is Our 3rd Night. Worth Staying here for 3 Nights. Perfect place for Holidays. We could do Darshan of Lord Jagannath Puri & Saw Konark Temple in the Day Light & Light&Sound Show also. Both Were Wonders of The World. Service at Our Suite on Second Floor — Marvellous. Food at TeaPot — Big Variety. In fact Today Morning I Requested Chef Akash to make 2 Pizzas for 8 of Us. Vth the Permission Of Chef Chakradhar (CD) he made Thin Crust vth Lot Of Cheese & Veggies. Mouthwatering. Chef Akash Served it with Lot Of Love&Warmth. Thanks a Lot Akash on behalf of We8.

Hotel was really beautiful & spacious, staffs are quite polite & helpful. They have a indoor game room with table tennis, carrom, chess & air hockey, kids playing room is also available. They also have their private beach located at the back side of the hotel. Location, breakfast, rooms everything was top notch but I gave 4 star only for the in-room food, it had bland taste and overpriced. Although their breakfast had huge variety & taste was really good. Overall it was a good stay.

One of the few properties on the beach on Puri. Prestine rooms, extremely hospitable service that rivals Taj's service. Amazing food. Photos do not do Justice to the rooms.
Beach is prestine with life guards and neat!
Only improvement would the speed of the room service. Otherwise, THE BEST property I have stayed in.

Used to be a good hotel, not the case in 2025-26. Not visiting it ever again.
1. Hot water not available in washroom when needed, manager had no clue both times when it happened with us.
2. Wifi doesn’t work in dining area, worked in the room only after use of a booster.
3. Food is the WORST, even a small street vendor cooks better than Chef Diggal. He cooks everything with so much salt that sea water tastes not salty. Not more than 1 food item was edible at breakfast.
Saving grace was the dinner cooked by the Head Chef.
4. Front desk doesn’t understand Hindi or English, they are confused when one speaks these languages at length.
5. The dining area has no proper ventilation. If something gets burnt at the egg counter, leaving the table to avoid inhaling smoke is the only option.
6. Hotel is NOT designed for anyone else but for those who book it for events. The DJ during the day and the night gets so loud that one can feel the echo in the room accompanied by a reverberating headache that doesn’t go away with medicine.
The manager doesn’t bother that the loud DJ disturbs other guests after 10:30 pm, only event customers are important for him.
7. Staff has potential but management simply doesn’t bother to train them.

Very very noisy room.
I had the most terrible experience at the resort. There was construction/drilling noise going on the whole day. And even after requesting them to stop it multiple times. They didn’t do anything about it. I was travelling with my 4 month old child for a family function.
The staff only says that they will stop the work but they never did.
No sympathy or anything. Just talks. Highly disappointed!

On the 16th, my brother’s wedding was held here, and the experience was truly wonderful. The resort is very beautiful, clean, and well maintained, which made the wedding atmosphere even more special and memorable. All the arrangements were done nicely, and the place looks perfect for weddings and family functions.
The staff and service were also very good. Everyone was polite, helpful, and cooperative throughout the event, which made things smooth and stress-free for our family and guests. The food was another highlight of the wedding. It was delicious, fresh, and well served, and all our guests really enjoyed the variety and taste.
Overall, we had a great experience at this resort. Because of its beautiful location, good service, and tasty food, I would definitely recommend this place for weddings and other special occasions.

Mayfair has been my favorite hotel chains. But somehow it’s loosing its magic. I loved this property & it was mostly flawless. However the front desk staff, Mr. Pritam needs a communication & mannerism training. He literally ruin the whole experience with his rude behavior. Also there is some scope of improvement which the management should take into consideration, such as the inadequate length of the wire of the hairdryer, absence of face tissues & oily slippers. The beach access is good & the lifeguards are absolute professionals. I would like to thank the lifeguards for making my experience great & memorable.

This property is awesome. And specially their hospitality was mind blowing. All d staffs members were so welcoming and attentive that we felt overwhelmed with their behaviour.
Worth going this place. And what a view from the hotels balcony. Really appreciated. 👌

A 5 star hotel with lot of courteous staff and location. Service is good and timely Rooms are ok type for the price you pay for. Food is also good not great as you get in some star hotels.
