This accommodation was beyond expectations. The rooms are very clean, quiet and relaxing but still the accommodation is located in the heart of the busy city of Varanasi. Walking distance from ghats//Ganges. Tasty food. Fresh made. Safe to eat! Felt so comfortable. Their pasta is also delicious. The owner is the best. Very friendly and he goes out of is way to help his guests and to make them feel the best. Provides best information and is very honest. Felt totally at home! … Best atmosphere. Book tours with the hotel. We did a boat tour with them twice. The man from the boat gave us a lot of information and showed us the most important Ghats. Also we booked a pickup and dropoff from the airport with the hotel. Very punctual, good driving, nice talking with driver, good English. Visited a lot of hotels, but this one is ranked as my all time favorite.

We have been to a lot of places and continents. However this stay touched us and will be ranked as our number 1 out of all the accommodations we've been to. We'll explain why. Firstly we would like to say the hotel is very CLEAN. The rooms are spacious, and you can see the hotel is perfectly maintained by the staff. The airco, fan and Wi-Fi worked perfect. Never had better in India. Second, the FOOD is SAFE to eat and very TASTY. This is a very important one for us since o…ne of us got sick in New Delhi. Everything you eat is fresh and meets the European standards. It feels so comfortabele to eat anything from a menu, not worrying about getting sick! Third, the LOCATION is beyond imagination. It is so close to a mainstreet and you can walk to the Ganges. Although this place is located right in the middle of the busy city of Varanasi, the hotel feels so peaceful. It is very quiet. Perfect for us! Besides these three main arguments why you should go to this hotel, we really felt so welcome. The staff is so FRIENDLY and HONEST They provide information (even before arriving we got an e-mail) and they are so honest. By arrival we got an information bundle with all the things to see // do in Varanasi, great tips, prices,. This was very handy. They do provide boattours, airport pickup etc at a very good price. We booked everything through the hotel and we we're always satisfied. We never felt like we we're 'overpaying' as in other hotels.

Although this is the first night out of three, we wanted to share this because we love this place so much. The rooms are so clean, staff is ULTRA friendly and the food is very tasty and safe to eat. Really recommended to stay here.

Good location but extremely noisy, the street noise was beyond we could take. The food is good-safe to eat, the staff will take a good care. The masala tea won our hearts and we couldn't find anywhere better!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Ask ahead of time as they prepare it at the moment and it may take. Super attentive staff! Only Counterpoint Accept Efectico! Hire the boat ride through the Ganges and walk in the Lobby! Excellent experiences!
Clean rooms!

Great location, 10 min from Dashashwamedh Ghat. Friendly and attentive staff. The last day had a very nice detail that we got to the exit, with the condition of seeing it at the airport (I will not reveal it in case anyone has a chance to go).

We loved this place. The courtyard is surprisingly quiet considering that the place is in such a busy and noisy part of town. We got one of our best night's sleep in this place. Oh and the lads running the place were so welcoming.

Such a calm and peaceful place amidst the noisy and busy streets of varanasi. Was quite difficult to find, but the staff were very co-operative. Had a fantastic stay!

It's a good place to stay, value of money satisfactory, only veg fooding may cause some tiredness, rooms should be equipped with e cattle as all your order requires a considerable time to serve.

The location of this hotel is really great, less than 15 minutes to the edge of the Ganges, from some famous temples are also very close, we live in a family-style room, the space is very large, very clean and tidy, and the weight of breakfast is enough for two people to eat. Five star Acclaim.

Varanasi — Cultural capital of India. The hotel is situated on a busy road and hard to locate from outside, and the road leading to the destination is blocked. So, don't follow the GPS, else you will be going in a circle on a busy and narrow road. If you are driving, the best way is to share your location with the hotel staff and ask the locals for direction. The hotel is 50m inside the busy road, the parking is very difficult, through a narrow road but available. The location is next to Kashi Vishwanath Temple, which is few minutes walk from the hotel. The service was quite helpful, polite and patient. The major crowd in the hotel is of foreigners. It's a pet friendly hotel. (additional charges were applicable) The room was neat with comfortable beds and free Wi-Fi. The toilets were sanitised with warm water. My trip was short and I had a pet along with me. I had to keep the dog in the room while we attend the ceremony which lasted post midnight. As the hotel gates closes post 10.30pm, still the staff made my trip a successful and hassle free. Ratings : Cleanliness : 5 Service : 5 (I have never rated 5 on service, it was due to the extra initiatives by the staff) Comfort : 4.5 Ambiance : 4.5 (there's a cosy outer sitting area) Location : 3.

Very good ambiance, homely feel, cleaned toilets and surroundings. Rooms are very well decorated and it's near to daswasamedh ghat. Very well located. Food is hygenic and very tasteful. A good experience for us. Staffs are very good, helpful and nice people.

As other reviewers said the owners are super awesome and always care about you when you stay there. Cant find a better hotel than this at varanasi. If you want to visit sarnath take a private auto from outside. Drop only 250rs. Visit sarnath and then once done you can get a lot of autos from sarnath to varanasi. Also for boating at varanasi ghats you can directly approach the boatman at the ghats and negotiate the fares. There are some middleman or agents (his name is sahani) which the hotel may offer you and I found it way too costly than the actual price. For airport drop from the hotel its 450rs by auto.

Excellent location yet secluded from chaos. Very neat n clean.

Very good rooms (clean toilets) and excellent customer service. Walkable distance (prefer taking cycle rickshaws ​becoz of the traffic. Rs. 20 per rickshaw person​ + 1child*. #). Anyhow you will HAVE TO walk around 200 — 400 meters from the entrance towards the temple premises. Should definitely ask for guides from the reception otherwise ​it's going ​to be difficult.

It's the best place to live in Varanasi old city. The touch of Ganges and local market and near by to all temples what else you need in kashi, the staff and owner are very friendly and supportive.

Thank you to the wonderful and happy staff here — the room was comfortable and mostly quiet through the day. The people are worth the stay! The only negatives are that the internet dies unexpectedly for a whole day and every day at 7am and 7pm there are temple bells that go off. Thanks for the stay!

Good jump off point for getting out of town to Sarnath if you are looking for buddhist sites. But out of the main stretch away from river 15-20min. It is a family property they inherited from grandparents with its own court yard. Two brothers helpful with info and train travel search but they expect string attached for everything they tell you. Another word they expect $ tip. Negative: Wifi — works only 1/3 time and is extremely slow defective Restaurant — even order toast takes 20min, so don't if you arrive starved Hot shower — One of two rooms I stayed at had only cold shower and didn't have sheet slip between reused unwashed blanket and bedding Caution: Be very careful of Kashi Handloom tailor their next door recommended business goto Friend. I wanted an Indian Liengha dress made bought silk sari material. He overstated the value of what he sold 5-10x takes advantage of foreigner ignorance. Supposedly been in family business since 1800's. But absolutely no ethics. He ask prepay 100$, badly done the dress, kept half of unused remaining silk until I demanded it, and the neck chiffon stated as 900rupia was worth 100 rupia didnot match the dress. What a scam!

Good location but take care of the concierge (trunk) he will press you with the tips every time and he will even come inside your room asking for that. The owners are friendly.
