We would reccomend Aman homestay. We loved staying there whilst in agra. There is a lovely family vibe. The rooms are high standard and there is a nice roof top area to relax. The breakfast was lovely and a great opprotunity to meet other travellers as everyone sits around 1 big table. They have a water filter to save buying plastic bottles which was also great. They can also help with travel and trips. We ate at good vibes restaurant opposite which served amazing Indian food. It's a great location within walking distance to a taj gate. If we ever return to agra we would stay again.

This place made me feel at home after so many bad experiences in other places. We had a great welcome from this smiley lady, who is the owner. She introduced us to our astonishing room. Everything was perfectly clean and well organized. The bed was very comfy, the shower had running hot water, as many towels as you wish, it was simply a treat! The meals were served in the main dining room where all the guests could have a chat and enjoy a 100% handmade Indian meal. There was also the option for the room service. For who was interested, there was also the chance to cook in the kitchen together with the staff. The building has several floors with many terraces from where enjoy the good weather and relax from the noise and the caos of the city. I recommend this place to everyone! It was the best place in India, so far!

The homestay itself was in a great location with some restaurants around the corner. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. We only stayed 1 night as a stopover and felt like it was really good value for money. There's also an option for breakfast, lunch and dinner (for a fee) and we opted for dinner for 1 night. Plenty of communal areas in the property to hang out and they have a great view over their rooftop looking over Agra. There are tuk tuks and a taxi driver should you need one when you head out.

Aman home Stay in agra was a nice location to stay. Friendly people and everyone could help you. Nice place and close to Taj Mahal.

Amazing hotel! So far the best in India. Room was very clean, staff were helpful, and they even let me borrow their motorcycle. Good location next restaurants and nice rooftop patio. The only con was we had a very small amount of hot water. However, great experience overall.

Very cozy homestay. The family is very friendly and accommodating. 1 point deduction, as all night in the hotel opposite is music played.

Nothing very special. I do not understand why there are grossly overrated reviews for this place. Owners r not able to provide food if ordered even at 08:00 PM. They are not gracious enough to offer food from outside (there are some restaurants in the vacinity, they can very well arrange food from outside) Rooms r devoid of sunlight, narrow staircase leads to rooms at other three floors, no lift, as it is a residential house. I can say it for certain that it is not at all a good choice for indian tourists. I regret that I chose it relying on reviews of foreigners, which I feel are grossly overrated. Defination of a homestay is not supposed to be analysed by owners of a particular property, travellers do fully understand what is a homestay. Providing tea and biscuits in morning, refusal to accept of its cost and subsequent remark that it was not charged, shows the meanness of owners. They have put up notice that food at night is to be ordered at 1700 hours, which I came to notice at a later hour when I went to upper floor.

Relaxed place to stay, walking distance to Taj Mahal east gate parking (there is a free shuttle cart to the gate itself). Helpful staff (a bit slow at check-in) and nice rooms. Make sure you take advantage of the home cooking in their restaurant! Delicious.

Wonderful hospitality from Ranjanna and family. A lovely homestead wirh a warm friendly reception. A great cook. Had WIFi. And clise to Taj Mahal.

I wanted to stay there when I was in Agra, based on the high reviews for this place but it was sold-out! I went to check if I can have dinner there, once I got in everyone who were staying there were gathered all together on the dinner table talking and having fun while eating the last bites of food. I stepped in the kitchen and the family who run the place were extremely welcoming and I told the lady of the house that I really wanted to try her food and she said we ran out of everything then asked me to come back after 15 minutes till she finish making something for me. So I went back and the food was AMAZING! not only that, but she sat down with me and was very nice and talked to me I felt like I was visiting a friend or something! I was so happy and satisfied with the food so the lady refused to let me pay for dinner but I insisted so she said only pay for the sprite! I had a great time along with great home-made Indian food there. Go and check it out!

If you want to truly experience some of the best India has to offer, stay here! Incredible India is full of marvels & no visit should be completed without coming to see the Taj Mahal. However the best India has to offer are it's people & here you will find some of the best of these. Aman Homestay is just what its name says. It is not just a place where you can spend the night in comfort, but where you are actually made to feel at home (and get great food). Feeling weary from the heat & all the noise & bustle? Relax in these surroundings & soak in the warm family atmosphere. It is like balm for the soul. I will never forget my stay here & remain thankful for the kindness & hospitality. What I probably regret most, is not having had more time to spend there. Next time I will plan better & probably also try one of the cooking classes there.

Great Homestay to meet fellow travellers from around the world. Hosts were fantastic with service and the food was great. Was able to enjoy vegetarian food whilst being a strong meat lover.

The place is at walking distance from Taj Mahal. The host family is very helpful and supportive. Rooms and property is well equipped and maintained.

Nice place to be when you are in Agra. The whole atmosphere is like a family. Food tates good over here. (A bit expensive) but has wonderful taste.

I can absolutely recommend to stay at Aman Home Stay for a visit at the Taj Mahal and other wonders of Agra. rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, bathrooms spotless, food is yummy, any questions or help they will provide what you request, calm terrases, good Wi-Fi, view of the Taj on the roof top terras, … … (it s not a fancy hotel cause it s a superb home stay! )

Comfortable convenient rooms, awesome food and wonderful people. Felt at home from the moment we arrived till we left. Adults and kids alike loved the food and the smiling friendly faces. They catered to each ones dietary needs without a single reminder. Will definitely recommend this place to others and will be back if we ever come back to Agra (which we hope we will soon).

This Is Just a perfect place. The host, a bright woman, her son and doughter are friendly, helpful and really kind. We arrive earlier than the expecting time, because of a problem in Delhi, and She let us in, She prepared us the breakfast and She helped us in everything. We really felt at home. Her son also helped us with the train ticket. The house Is big, cleaned, the food Is great, the atmosphere Is great. We reccommend this Place to every kind of traveller.

Aman homestay was a great place to stay in Agra. Super friendly, rooms are really nice and clean, and you can't beat the home-cooked meals. It's about a twenty minute walk from here to the Taj Mahal, which I would suggest doing rather than taking a taxi or rickshaw. Highly recommend leaving Aman homestay about 30 minutes before sunrise in order to see the Taj first thing in the morning. Aman also has a rooftop terrace where you can see the Taj from a distance (I've included a photo below).

Aman and his family run this great homestay as clockwork. It was an absolute pleasure to stay with them. Aman and his mum accommodated a very late check in and even provided me with much needed food late at night! Aman helped me book train tickets, arranged for laundry and his mum gave me a packed dinner for my train journey to Delhi when I said my goodbyes. The house is awesome, welcoming and comfortable, in a great location at walking distance from the Taj Mahal East entrance. Wholeheartedly recommended.

This place is absolutely the best stay in Agra. It is centrally located and the staff is profoundly amazing. They fix you breakfast and dinner and upon departure to tour the city, they will arrange low cost tuqda for ya. For absolutely authentic food there are two Indian restaurants "Pinch of Spice" I highly recommend. (But no Wi-Fi) and the other is Indianaa (Wi-Fi).

A wonderful gem in Agra, not far from the east entrance and nature walk. Wonderful rooms, warm attentive helpful staff, a great balcony to rest or write on, lovely group dinners and cooking lessons and laundry and Wi-Fi to boot. Prices are below what they should be, a gem at a steal of a price. Would easily stay here again. Make sure to ask them to book Vicky the Tuk Tuk driver to take you on a day your and a visit to the local carpet factory. Well worth it.

Beautiful homestay. Had an absolutely wonderful time here and would recommend it to all. The rooms are suburb, the food is fantastic and the family are absolutely lovely. Absolutely recommend to everyone. If ever I return to Agra I'm coming back here.

This is the second incarnation of Aman Homestay and it is 1000% better than the first.! The location is different — I stayed at the old location a few times — and is much closer to the Taj Mahal. Aman Homestay is operated by the same family that operated the previous homestay. Aman and his family are great hosts and they take every care to make your stay a memorable one. Given that the rooms and bathrooms are superb, given that the meals are superb, given that the location is superb… now, what makes Aman Homestay really great is the family. They GO OUT OF THEIR WAY to assist the traveler in every way possible. If you need anything, just ask — they will do their best to help. It is also noteworthy that Rajana, the mother, offers Indian cooking classes! She is a great cook. You will not be disappointed if you stay here; and, I say this as someone who has visited Agra several times and stayed in a few different places until I found Aman Homestay. I have returned to Agra a few times, often accompanied by friends, and I don't want to stay anywhere else. The new location and facility far outshines the old one — I'm always happy to return. And, you will too.!
