Sitting area on terrace were full of ants and was a mess trust me
Called reception and told about the problems they say sir nahi chal raha kuch nahi ho sakta then told them about complaining on social media and they were like chalega
They were carefree

Don't go for Udai kothi at all.

Unprofessional staff and owner. No rooms to offer after a confirmed booking. Wasted half of the day as they were not refunding the money, had to call cops. Wasted 4 hours. What a he'll place. No owner was there to entertain infact their phones were switched off. Not just a problem with us. Many tourists had to face this on a single day. Avoid this place for sure. On asking a rickshaw wala person he told us "inka roz ka hai. Couple mein banti nai hai to doono bookings le lete hai aur tourist suffer karte hai " please avoid! in case anyone want proof I have a video of that day!

It was a amazing experience being there! I love to visit once more❤️

Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms, but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff. All of the people are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice.

The place is magical. The staff are super attractive. This is a very special place to stay and I would highly recommend it.

Fantastic location and amenities. Staff quiet efficient and non intrusive but helpful.

Great place to stay. Food ambience everything is just perfect. But only one drawback is the road to reach here is too narrow and hence unsafe. They provide free temporary parking but does not have any facility to wash the car or for the driver to stay.

Please never visit that place for food. No proper menu and more thn 80% of items are not on the menu. Horrible serve as well. This review is only based on food.

Very inaccessible hotel. Difficult to locate, very very very narrow lanes to drive — our vehicle (force traveler) got stuck even at 10:30 PM. Daytime drive is even more difficult as it cuts through the market. Very average food, very average service. I was given a joined bed in place of a king size booked. AC's were not working in one room and was a noisy orchestra in the other. The breakfast service was TTTERRIBBLE. Only saving grace is the view from the terrace if you have to sit in the pool which is very tiny too.

WOW! The hotel is just marvelous. It’s a 4 Star hotel but it certainly deserves to be upgradef to a 5 Star hotel. Extremely professional and serviceoriented staff, very romantic building and good food in a good location with a great poolarea. What more Can you wish for? Highly recommended. ”

A grand palace hotel facing lake pichola. The place and its grandeur will keep you in awe. With huge corridors and decorated balconies you will get the feel of an erstwhile palace. The rooms are equally majestic. They have a very romantic roof top restaurant where you can have a candlelight dinner. Their restaurant caters to foreigners in terms of food variety and quality. The food is very bland.

The hotel is nice the hotel has an old and a new building. The new building has very nice, large, clean and beautiful rooms with a nice modern and large bathroom.
The bed is a bit high but very comfortable. The air conditioning works very well and is not noisy. The Internet + WLAN does not always work and is very slow. The room service has put fresh flowers in our rooms every day and changed all sheets and towels.
On the roof there is a nice well maintained swimming Pool. Unfortunately, There are few shady places. The green courtyard is really like a small oasis.
The Reputation-top restaurant has a very nice view. You can order by card or use a small buff. Depending on that, the food is good or even very good.
The breakfast buffet seems a bit small but there are also Indian dishes to reorder (included in the price). There are freshly prepared pancakes and Omelettes. Apparently, There is a new toaster too.
Only the five guinea pigs have leidgetan me in the small cage. They have to run around on the cage Grates. I ask for Improvement.

Nothing to complain about, the room is OK (even if it takes almost a stepleau to get on the bed), the pool is very nice and the restaurant buffet is very good.

Prefer foreigners. But it's a beautiful hotel. Has a nice rooftop pool and restaurant.

Beautifully decorated hotel located walking distance from all major landmarks in Udaipur. The view from the rooftop is absolutely breathtaking. The pool is small but comfortable, the breakfast offers a wide range of choices. The hotel is expanding so be prepared to see some construction works (they stop during tourist season so there is no noise). Staff is friendly but does not get out of their way to help you : for example they can book a taxi, but wouldn't be able to recommend a cooking class. I definitely recommend staying there if you want comfort in a unique decor.

From beginning to end our stay here was awful. The service at the front desk is just abysmal. I cannot believe this hotel is more expensive (double the price) than Jagat Niwas. We arrived at 1pm. Note this is an hour after check-in time. The man with a mustache at the front desk has me wait for an HOUR. I sit there while he helps copious amounts of other guests check out. He told me the internet wasn't working, so he helped a huge french tour group check out while I sat there. After an hour, I was fed up, and stood up abruptly. He saw I was upset so he hands me a room key. 1. If you didn't have internet but could've handed me a room key at ANY time, why didn't you do so in the first place? Instead of making me wait an hour? I would have stayed at the Lake Palace for lunch if I had known service was this terrible. I came at 1pm to check in because I wanted to get the most out of my day. 2. If the internet was fixed, why would you continue helping every other guest — the french tour group and a group of asians before you check me in? The French tour group was checking out and the asians were trying to book a room. I already had a room and was sitting in heat with all my baggage STILL outside — left untouched — at the bottom of the steps.

The food was of very poor quality n overpriced and the service was horrible. Mostly all the staff are untrained n unprofessional. As compared to prices I wont recommend this hotel u can find much better options. The roof top restaurant and the pool were the only attraction point.

1-Star instead of 3-star hotel. The staff totally rude and reckless. It stinks throughout the house and in the rooms as it would be moldy. The rooms are not as comfortable as shown in the pictures, cold, the sockets do not work. Etc. The Wi-Fi is not available. The breakfast room is too small you have to ask several times to get a drink at all. The yogurt Gieselig, the offer in any other hotel better and a toaster for the toast is not there either. Even the rooms of the highest available category Garden suite, which are staged on the pictures chic, correspond to a maximum of German 1 star level. The bed is also hard, by the way. And the room service did not change the towels even with a 3 day stay!

Completely unreasonable poor service. In advance, an extra router was promised by the owner for important work to be done, which she wanted to know when we first moved in. The regular WLAN is only outside to have UNF needs minimum 1/2 min to load a page at all. Unless it crashes again immediately. At breakfast you have to ask the numerous staff several times to get a drink at all. The yogurt completely gieselig, the offer scarce and the toast without toaster. Even the rooms of the highest available category Garden suite are very cold, uncomfortable and dark due to the lack of exposure due to the complete marble cladding. It also smells uncomfortable musty.

Located in old Town, its very close to many popular places. But hard to walk around due to traffic (car/auto). Most of the local cab drivers avoid this area due to the congestion. The hotel itself is nice but wasn't worth the price tag. Expected way better service. Their internet doesn't work although they put it in the list of available amenities.

Pros: Convenient location. Rooms were decent and clean. Cons: *No Working Wifi* They mentioned that the hotel has Wi-Fi but it didn't work during our stay. We complained several times and received the same response — IT guy is working on it. Room service is horrible. I contacted for several times, every time they said they someone will come but no one every showed up except just one time. Rooms had a terrible view — just plain garbage.

Very charming. Has the old time charm. Flowers and shielding is beautiful. Restaurant on the rooftop has nice view and food is also very good. Breakfast buffet. No elevators. Rooms are nice size. Fan and room heater are provided. Bathroom is quite spacious. Nice getaway. Not with little children.

Lovely staff and beautiful garden on main floor. The rooftop pool, restaurant, and bar were very relaxing. It is a quiet hotel with nice modern rooms, and close to the walking bridge and many amenities. The one downside was that the stairwell leading to the rooftop leads up to a sandy area under construction, which you must pass through to get to the dining area (from some of the rooms).

A beautiful hotel with a great rooftop pool that pleases children very much. A good restaurant is also present on the roof for the fond of Indian food!

Fabulous small heritage hotel. Superb food served on magical candle lit rooftop terrace with superb views. Staff are delightful and very helpful. Highly recommended.

This Property Looks fancy from outside. There is no comfort inside. Booking guy Dhruv's behavior was very bad. They want only overseas customers and pays zero respect to Indian customers. Parking facilities are very bad. Think twice before choosing this Hotel.

An amazing hotel. Lovely rooms. A roof top swimming pool. Courteous staff. Upgraded! And only thing that room cleaning was not up to mark!

Lively and Lovely place, had a family outing and loved every moment of my stay. Very very friendly staff and 2 lovely dogs welcome you, makes you stay even more warm. My daughters loved the place and the dogs, they simply refused to leave the place. Another good thing about the place is its connectivity to the city and all its attractions.

Nearest n cheapest place near big palace in udaipur. U will love the kothi in udaipur.

Lovely location. The whole pichola lake is visible and ambraai ghat is walking distance from the hotel. Which makes it heaven. The only drawback is road that takes to this place is too narrow and we have to suffer from frequent traffic jams on the same. Once reached inside. Its heaven.

Beautiful hotel. The pool deck on the top floor is spectacular in the evenings. Very friendly and polite staff. The rooms beds and curtains are slightly dated. Food in the restaurant is good although slightly pricey.

This is my worst experience. T. V. Of both room is not working because they do not recharge their set up boxes. The bed of room is very poor condition and after complaint no one recharge set up box. It is totally wastage of money.

This is a awesome hotel… Cannot say much about this hotel. Excellent staff. Tasty food. Good atmosphere. Big and comfortable room… parking space available. 5 STAR For this hotel cannot even think of giving it 4.9 stars. It was soo damn good. Better then 5 STAR properties in udaipur… Must go hotel.

Hotel is located in the heart of the old city, clean, basic breakfast, small and nice pool, good for 2-day relaxation.

Good hotel. Try to stay in the new wing, rooms are new and spacious, though some work is remaining but they are trying to finish it fast. They have a roof top restaurant. Service is slow and the hotel needs to hire more people. Cell network in the rooms is poor.

Axel Reinsdorf. In January 2015 for 14 days in Udai Mothi. Very nice Hotel, very good Service. Aberm caution in European Whiz, how can me not be good anymore. Had 5 Were at the piece of puked. Tomatensousse was bad. Staff otherwise OK. Spoiled me several times in the days leading up to departure with delicious Indian cakes, where the plate with Lotus leaves designed goods, and with napkin and spoon and fork were provided. Food very good and tasty (without Chilly).

This is the worst Hotel experience in my life. What matters in service industry is attitude and willingness to support. Which is completely zero with the Stuff and management of this Hotel. I had to cancel my preplanned trim to Udaipur during Diwali due to unavoidable health related reasons in my family. I already Book the hotel with 80% of payment. When I cancelled my booking this Hotel did not returned me a single penny. Their stuff stopped responding on e mails. They tried to mislead me over phone. Where as with other 2 Hotels where I also booked my stay with advance amount have returned me 75% of the amount, which was ok for me. I will never go to this Hotel in my life, and would recommend others not to opt for this Hotel in Udaipur. There are lot more good Hotels in Udaipur. If they possess such bad attitude, you can imagine how bad there service will be.

Bad experience. The hotel is under construction. A lot of noise. Room was not in a proper level. Very low standard. Breakfast very poor. The manager was rude and unpleasant. We left two days prior to our leaving date. Couldn't be there anymore. Stay away.

Hotel Udai Bagh is one of the most memorial hotel in my life. The service, rooms are no. One and the people are so polite. Food is delicious and hygienic. Would like to visit again and again.

If you want to have fun on the lake side, wanna experience the royal feeling of Prince — Princess and enjoy the comforts of a hotel at the same time then Udai Kothi, Udaipur is the best place to stay. I must say that the entrance to the property is one-of-a-kind! The Royal Palace look, extended interior and huge beautiful painting in reception area with glooming lanterns and lamps. The small tumblers filled with Marigold flowers and lighted beautiful U-shaped candles are well placed in and around the Hotel. Oh my god! What a wonderful way to welcome its guests? You are quickly welcomed by the front desk personnel with a welcome drink and a marigold mala as you check in. The hotel has a very lush green foliage and the front street takes you to the Lake side restaurent! What more can one want? Most of the rooms overlook the lush mini garden at the centre of the property. The rooms from inside are well built and are spacious enough for a comfortable stay with separate dinning space. The Bathrooms are clean and well maintained. The maintenance staff serves with Smile and warmth of Udaipur's tradition. The swimming pool on the 3 floor roof top is a great place to hang out and make new friends because of the extended "Dining Area" which is an open terrace restaurent – yeah you heard it right! The multi-cuisine restaurant is located on the third floor just above the rooms. It has a very warm decor inside and also serves its guests in the open air.

Best hotel and the most reasonable hotel in the whole world! Very beautiful property specially udai suite and boat rides.

Udai suite was great however the breakfast buffet served was pretty ancient.
