The rooms are super clean and comfortable. Staff is very helpful and courteous. The view from the Roof Top restaurant is simply amazing. The food was very delicious. Lallu Ram Bhil our server was exceptional with a great sense of humor. We totally enjoyed our evening chatting with him!

Quiet rooms, great service. Fantastic for a woman travelling alone.

Lovely stay here. Rooms were amazing. Quiet, yet in the centre of everything. Members of staff were absolutely lovely.

This place was my fav stay in all of India. Its quiet, but close to everything. The staff are incredible, the rooms are perfect. I will be going back to Jaiwana one day!

This place was great, and the owners where really nice. Give 4 stars and not 5 because I got sick from eating something at the restaurant, some soup, not sure if water was not boiled or veggies not washed but it gave me a sleepless night. Otherwise, I definitely do recommend staying here, just be careful what you eat, and go for a safer option. The views from the restaurant are amazing.

Location of the hotel is very good. City palace is 5 min walk from here. Rooms are good with basic amenities. View from roof top restaurant is great.

The rooms are good and the services are average. The staff at reception were helpful with giving the insight for the visit. But inspite my booking was for the lake view they didnt give me lake view. Lake view at the roof-top restaurant is fantastic. The only problem at this place or maybe with any other hotels in this area would be with the Parking. If you are coming with your own vehicle then I would say be ready for hell of traffic nuisance within the Lal ghat area. You have availability of govt. Parking at payable basis.

We had a lovely stay at Jaiwana haveli! The room was just enough for 2 guests. The bathroom had issues but was attended to as soon as we informed the helpdesk. The rooftop restaurant was amazing! The food and service were both simply outstanding! Helpful and informative staff. The hotel does not have lift, so I wouldn't go here with my parents, but it is a great place for younger people!

Lovely place to stay with a great view of the lake and Taj palace. Very friendly and helpful staff managed by wonderful people. Rooftop experience was amazing and great food quality. If going by own car consider parking in the pay and park as the streets keep on getting narrower and hence more and more difficult for a car to get inside. Although this place does have parking space for 3-4 full size cars, that too try getting in early in the morn when there s lesser traffic. All in all a biggg thumbs up for this place.

I really love this hotel in Udaipur, and it also have very good location. The stuffs were very professional and friendly, It’s also very clean. I got a room which has lake view, I enjoyed it when I stayed in the room. And it’s near the boating place that only 3 mins by walk, what a convenient place. I ate dinner and breakfast in the roof restaurant, it have great lake view just like the photos. The important thing is the food was good, that’s why I give this hotel 5 stars.

The menu was moderate and the food was good enough. The place is very comfortable and great to be in the evening to wind down. Nice and comfortable seating arrangement. The menu is extensive with everything you would want and expect from India. The thali was the best we had on the trip for a very reasonable price. Indian wine and beer were available. Friendly staff.

Fantastic place. Can't recommend it enough — great views, and more importantly, staff that will go out of their way to help out with trip itineraries and other details. Moreover, on our last day there I fell ill, and was due to check out of the room. The staff at Jaiwana Haveli provided me with an extra room to stay in before getting on my flight (at no charge). They went above and beyond what I would expect — highly recommend.

Location is very good as you can get view of the lake and restaurant is on the roof so you can get beautiful view at breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can go to visit city palace with 5 min walk. Food taste and quality is very good. Rooms are big and clean. Comfortable stay. Staff and service is very nice. Very good hotel with nice location, food and rooms.

Very nice place to stay. The view from the terrace and the room is great. Bed mattress are slightly too hard but this is only my feeling :), it doesn't affect the overall experience.

The room is very nice and the bathroom is not comfortable. And very small.
The breakfast included is not up to par.
During our stay an Internet problem was present for 2 days.
Here what you are going to pay is the rooftop with a view of the lake! Excessive price for the benefit.

What a beautiful spot with stunning lake views from the delicious rooftop restaurant and glimpses from our room. Hot water, clean rooms and safe. The family here are very helpful with what to do and organising tours and transport. Thankyou very much for having us! Great location close to all the shops and an easy walking distance.

The hotel is very well located. The facilities are correct. The room was small but ideal. The terrace of the restaurant is the most beautiful to watch the sunsets.

Excellent location of this property. All the important tourist destinations are well within walking distance along with some famous eating joints. Very well maintained property and rooms. Food is good too and offers an excellent view of lake Picchola.

1) Food are just awesome. Too tasty. 2) Roof top restaurant positioned with a clear view of Pichola Lake. 3) Very clean and tidy. Will feel fresh all the time. 4) Staff behaviour has warmth and one will feel at home. 5) The hotel position is too perfect for local sight seeing. 80% of the area are at walking distance. Areas of concern:- 1) Rooms are too small to accommodate 2 person along with luggage. 2) Though tea kettle is available but plug points to heat it up are on a height. So one have struggle to heat up the same. 3) Bathroom does not have Bucket and Mug. May be they does not want to allow the tenant to wash clothes or waste water. You will have a feel of Hotel Ginger. 4) No lift available. 5) Rooms does not have Balcony. But they do have bigger window. One person can sit in there. 6) One should ask for Rooms on 3rd floor having windows directly open on the Lake.

Cozy place. Warm and welcoming staff. The food is tasty and the rooftop offers a great view of lake pichola, especially at sunset. The rooms are comfortable and beds cozy. Amenities provided are good. The best part is that they give you a local map and have drawn a plan on places to explore and its spot on. Milo is an additional fun point if you love pets.

Spartan equipped Haveli in a prime location and I have the best view of the lake. No air conditioning available, therefore quite hot at night. Owner very sympathetic with many helpful tips for staying in Udaipur.

The location of the hotel is almost right at the Pichhola Lake and the view from the rooftop restaurant is very good. The rooms are also lake facing but there's no balcony in the rooms. Rooms are clean and comfortable but can feel a bit stuffy at times due to the small size. It's better to stay at the third floor as the view from the rooms is good from there. The food is ok only and nothing special. Service is the best part about the hotel. The staff is extremely helping, informative and warm. Due to the central location of the hotel it's very convenient but parking is an issue there because sometimes vehicles may not be allowed inside the main town limits in which case the vehicles need to be parked outside the town. Overall a quiet and peaceful place to stay.

This place has an awesome view of Lake Pichola and one can have an evening of a lifetime kind of memories having a dinner here. Lights lit up and cool breeze around the lake is just awesome…

I stayed in room 31, which was a corner Room. It had a nice view of Lake Pichola. I felt that the room and bathroom sizes were small, however they were clean and tidy. One could easily see Jag Mandir from there. Their roof top restaurant also has limited seating capacity with around 5-6 tables in the open area and 3-5 tables inside. One would enjoy the meal during evening.

Very nice. Family orientated place to stay. Run by very helpful family. The staff are very nice and ready to serve you better every time. Would like to come and stay again.

Went to their rooftop restaurant that was much recommended. The view is to die for, no doubt. Food was good, nothing extraordinary. The service was super slow, snail paced to be precise.

Nice clean hotel. Location is hard to get to though as cars aren't allowed in that part of the city at certain times. Not so good value for money though.

Lake facing rooftop view is just amazing. As the sunlight changes, one gets a different view throughout the day. Rooms are comfy. Complimentary breakfast is sumptuous and is best bang for the buck.

View from the rooftop restaurant is the highlight. Small hotel, family owned. Service is fast, staff warm. Places of sight-seeing are walkable distance away. Only flipside is not directly accessible by car, 2-5 min walk from the nearby paid parking at lake palace.

The best Haveli-turned-into-a-hotel to Stay in Udaipur. Located in the Southern part of the city of lakes, this hotel gives you the super clean bed linen, bathrooms and a fresh start of the day with small but meaningful breakfast at the roof top cafe which gives you the perfect view of Taj Lake Palace, Jag Mandir and the rear view of The City Palace at Lake Pichola. All this can be enjoyed at the dinner too when all these places are illuminated at night in beautiful lights. Hosts make you feel like its home as they educate you nicely about the places to visit in and nearby Udaipur.

A solid choice in a great area. The hotel staff is quite hospitable and attentive, the rooms are nice. It is an easy walk to all of the local attractions.

Really good breakfast with a great view of the lake and palaces and surrounding hills. Prices are a bit higher than average but worth it. Staff is very friendly and speak English well.

My first visit to the 'Lake City' or the 'White City' last year was awesome… Thankfully I chose the right place to stay, Jaiwana Haveli… Great staff, nice room, though would've liked to get one on the top floor… The candle light dinner on the rooftop restaurant was memorable, add to the fact that I had booked the corner table to have the best view of the Pichola Lake in the background plus very nice food… The only feedback from my end is the double beds need to be longer & wider… The location is also perfect as The City Palace is at a walking distance & also the temple… The puppet show & other traditional dances from Rajasthan at Bagore Ki Haveli is a must watch … Would love to visit again…

Had a lovely breakfast here. Bit expensive for budget travellers but we had the namaste meal which had a ton of food. Service was great and view was amazing.

It was a great stay in jaiwana haveli. Loved the place. Harsh was amazing … loved udaipur also bcoz of this place though it was just one day… Great place to stay. Staff was very courteous. Food was amazing. Roof top candle light dinner was awesome… not just five but many many more stars…

We had gone here for family holidays,. We stayed here for four days. Their hospitality was really wonderful and perfect… Rooms were neat and tidy. Service was quick and wonderful… No discomfort… Kids enjoyed alot. Beautiful sight from hotel rooftop… restaurant service was awesome… Thanks to all the staff of Jaiwana Haveli for making our trip so comfortable, relaxed and ofcourse a memorable one… We would wish to visit again… Heartfelt Thanks.

Overpriced and bland food in the restaurant, but it does have a good view.

Great value, convenient location and nice, helpful staff. Rooftop deck is beautiful and restaurant is passable, with friendly staff. Check out surprised us as being at 10 am, which we thought was a bit early. Wifi a bit spotty; fine if you're just checking email but trickier if you are trying to do any real work.

Can't comment on the hotel, but the roof top restaurant was superb. We had one of our best meals in India up here, delicious food, great views, kind and attentive staff, and still very reasonably priced. The bhindi masala (okra) and the gulab jamun dessert were outstanding.
