The interiors and rooms are okey however the hospitality provided is not what we expect from a 5-star. The food quality is not at all up to mark. It’s just taseteless. I think there are pretty much better options to explore when you are at Udaipur.

The lalit laxmi vilas is a royal retreat where one is pampered thoroughly. The warmth extended by the staff ie commendable you truly are treated like royalty. ALL over again, I am in love with the city the and THE LALIT LAXMI VILAS, is truly incredible.

The restaurant is poor in service. They overcharged me on a bottle of wine and charged me on a platter that I sent back owing to bad taste. I can only imagine what services they must be offering while you stay there.

Exotic place, best views, sumptuous food, great entertainment, can improve hospitality by increasing the staff or the ability to keep up with the renovations.

Staff is courteous and services are amazing. Breakfast spread was delicious and had many indian cuisine options. It's has an amazing view of fatehsagar lake. They have music shows and puppet show at night. I would definitely like to go back for a longer stay.

I was with my mom Dad and didi. The palace was superb. My mom and dad was feeling like king and queen. That was their first 5 star hotel exprience. I wanna add some words for hotel staff too. Their behaviour was very good and the kind of serviceability they offered. A big thank for all hotel staff … Thank you thank you thank gatekeeper, waiters (Tej), managers and all supportive guys for making my day wonderful. Because parents smile is more precious than any luxury and the luxury and respect they felt at Laxmi vilas hotel only brought this smile.

Good Ambience, nice food specially Veg and Non veg platters. Loved the aroma of sizzlers. Stings of some Rajasthani folk songs and dance. Good place to enjoy with family and friends.

The stay in the hotel was awesome. The most commendable thing (which was pretty obviously noticable) was how courteous, warm and welcoming the entire staff was. We were picked up in the airport and we also took the hotel ride for all the sight seeing. The view from the rooms were awesome. We went there for our anniversary and took the moonlight dinner package in Cabana with a personal Butler and 4 course meal. However, I did not like the red lights in the Cabana which resulted in no good photos which was disappointing considering we spent so much on the dining experience. However, Hotel was good, room was big and staff was cordial.

View & location was outstanding! Both restaurants were exceptional. Our suite was huge and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable. Very beautiful property to stay and staff was very good and welcoming.

Place with it's own culture. It's on the bank of fatehsagar lake and has very nice view.

Check to make sure the booking given in old wing as not worth to stay in new wing at such high cost. I felt bad to know that the hotel didn't hv all the rooms as shown in the pics.

The palace was once the state guest house for the Maharana of Mewar. I was run, or rather run down by Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation until The Lalit Group acquired it recently and have since maintained it on high standards. Great views of Fateh Sagar lake, multi restaurants and decent service. The pricing is a on higher side but they try to make it worth it!

This place is worth a Five Star hotel and restaurant and the rooms and services are so tiptop. Its located near fateh sagar. The serve complementary breakfast which comprises of about 150 items from all over the world. Their welcoming style is just worth every penny. They provide you with everything you need. They have a gym, pool, in-house restaurant, mini bars in all rooms.

The level of service and friendliness of the staff is extremely high, very good.

Not living up to the standard of a Five Star hotel. Pros: location lovely, service very warm and hospitable, had lunch one day food was good. Breakfast spread good but could be more imaginitive-too much repetition day after day! Cons: Rooms not upto the mark for a five star. Extra bed provided was horrible though 2.5k charged per night. No swimming pool. Not very interesting activities.

Amazing place by the lake. You get to revisit the olden times. The palace is divided into different sections, with every section representing something different from the other. The place is huge, takes almost 5-6 hours to cover the entire palace, better to take a guide along for better experience.

If you want to experience how the kings of yore lived in the olden times, pay a visit to The LaLit Laxmi Vilas Place. This experience is helped tremendously once you realise the hotel was a palace before! Superb hospitality and a beautiful property. Would love to come here again. The staff was also courteous.

They offer drinks and food to outsiders which I personally feel is something very good about a 5 star Hotel. The ambience and food were just awesome and the view of the Fateh Sagar Lake was too good.

Udaipur is nice place. You can enjoy small vacation with family. There are lots points to see, crystal place, vantage car museum and city palace are my favorite… Although tickets are very around 500-600 per person. Lakes and garden are other attractions of city udaipur become more beautiful in rainy season. Enjoy small vacation there.

Excellent food quality, personal attention from the restaurant staff, and fairly quick service. What else would one expect from a good restaurant? Seven happy souls walked out of the restaurant after a satisfying meal.

The Lalit Laxmi Vilas Palace is located near Fatehsagar Lake in Udaipur. The services was awesome been recently there for dinner with my family members. Earlier also I have did a visit my best friend's father was manager there now they have got transferred to Jaipur Branch. A. C. Hall, clean rooms, friendly staff. Loved it.

It is a picturesque place. Overlooks the beautiful Fateh saga lake. Hidden away to give one the much needed peace and tranquility. The historic hotel gave us the Maharaja experience. Food and entertainment was perfect. Service and courtesy commendable. Our lil holiday will be forever cherished.

Awesome place and super awesome staff. Food is a bit costly but I loved Dal Baati at Aangan. If you love Sufi music, then don't miss dinner at Aangan. Staff is very helpful. Thank you so much for your services.

Beautiful Hotel. Less breakfast.

We travelled with an infant, and every amenity from a crib to a stroller was provided. To top it even a bottle sterelizer was provided. At breakfast the kitchen obliged us with pureed fruits for the infant. However the breakfast buffet becomes repetitive for anyone who stays more than a couple of nights. For some reason powdered coffee is not available at breakfast. The rooms are getting a bit long in the tooth and need a overhaul. We had 2 room and in both the safe had to have batteries replaced. Neither has bed side table lamps. In one of the rooms the master switch is behind the pillows and keeps getting switched off when you lie down. A bit underwhelmed at the experience. Was expecting 5* service but honestly many of the budget hotels or non chain hotel give a much better experience.

Lalit luxmi villas has perhaps got the best view in whole of udaipur. Hotel staff is very courteous. We celebrated our anniversary here and hotel staff made it special for us.

My daughter and I stayed in Lalit Laxmi villas for two nights recently. Our princess suite was spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful view of lake Fatehsagar. The landscape of green grass was breathtaking, loved strolling in the morning near the lake! Food was good and staff is very promt and courteous. Overall wonderful experience, and I would definitely recommend the hotel for quick peaceful getaways :)

Beautiful view of the lake. The Palace is well maintained and provides the stay with a touch of class. The landscape was excellent. We were given our room an hour after checking in and the room had a stench of cigarette smoke left by the previous tenants. Breakfast was nice.

Hey everyone visited there only for dinner. Property is beautiful view is breathtaking. But the dinner buffet was really bad. Din like any of the dishes… limited spread.
Staff is helpfull but worst place to go nd have food.

Ambience, View, Food and the entertainment, all excellent, thoroughly enjoyed. Need a better gym and spa with sauna, steam and jacuzzi.

Lovely view. Also I happened to be there on the International Day of Yoga. They had a free yoga camp organised for the guests and staff.
