One of the finest hotels and restaurants in bikaner is Basant Vihar. Ambience is superb and food is also good at the price. Hotel rooms are also cosy and service is overall mint. Worth deserving 5 stars.

The new restaurant at this place is very refreshing in addition to the new open area! Food has always been delicious here. But no non veg! Try the " gatta curry " in main course, good place to enjoy both the local and global cusines.

The whole new renovation thing has made this a must visit place, food and the ambience is fantastic, truly loved it.

Basant vihar palace is excellent place to experience the royalty of Rajasthan. Rooms are luxurious and decorated with a pool outside of it. Services of basant vihar is good.

The hotel is first-class, with a touch of traditional as well as modern design. There are a variety of rooms available as per the requirements of the guests, well designed and comfortable, including attached bathrooms. The Hotel boasts of a splendid vegetarian restaurant as well as a recently opened Coffee Shop which provides guests a variety of delicious snacks and drinks ranging from Sizzlers to smoothies as well as the look and feel of a 20th century cafe. All in all a brilliant hotel which especially caters to the North Indian cuisine.

Good ambience, average quality food & service.

We just went for some couple of hours, for a engagement function. I experienced a good time there. Room were really so nice. The interior was so well designed. The garden was nice. But could not found entertainment goodies, might be they were present but I may not have figure out where they are. I think there is no body massage facility available. Well the bathrooms were very clean and hygiene. Overall it was a nice experience. And most importantly the restaurant was amazing. I will give a five star rating to that.

The food and ambiance is amazing. The heritage feel and the warm environment is out of this world. It felt like time travel during my visit. The climate is grotesque and forgiving yet a Jewel stands in the middle of dessert giving food and comfort to weary travelers.

Had best dining experience. Food, service, interior, parking, location and everything was perfect.

After the reinnovation of this Hotel now we can say that Rooms are value for money now. Room size are Ok and with good interior. Room tariff should need to be rectified. It is still on higher side.

Luxurious and the most elegant place in Bikaner. Booked it for a night for my brother's wedding and it was worth every penny. Recently went for meal and the food was amazing! Keep up the good work.

Food is ok but no concern for cleanliness and hospitality. Otherwise the building and gatden atea is exquisite.

Seating arrangement is a big turn down. Can accommodate more and make the ambience more lively. Preserving the heritage look can be done with more panache. The lawns are very good.

One of the best places for dinner in town.

The facilities here are fantastic by local standards (albeit overdue for a refurbishing). It's a shame the same can be said for the service and the atmosphere. While I was staying there were some families who would leave their doors open, allowing their shrieking kids would run out into the hallways, back and forth for hours at a time, creating a very loud and uncomfortable environment. But it was one particular run in with hotel staff that ruined it the most for me. I had a friend staying at an adjacent hotel come and join me for a meal at the hotel restaurant. While ordering the waiter inquired about whether my friend was a guest at the hotel. My friend replied that he was not. After the meal we went to the reception to pay the bill and organise a taxi for my friend to go back to his hotel. The whole time three staff members stuck around stickybeaking and watching like it was some kind of novelty. I then walked him out the front steps and he left to catch his taxi. At 11.20 I am awoken by a buzz on the doorbell. It was the same nosy waiter, come to ask whether the guest is gone. Bemused I told him yes, he has gone, the entire reception staff saw him leave. I then called reception, who then got the manager to call me back. I asked to know the reason why I was disturbed so late over such a petty matter. He told me he didn't know, but he would check with the staff member responsible.

Hosted my sister's wedding reception here, it has huge suites, good room service. Two lawns are there which are sufficient for 1000 and 500 people respectively. It is owned by the bikano group, well maintained property with easy access and ample parking space. The food served here is delicious, the chef is working since 21 years and cooks well. Next best option to laxmi niwas palace, but this is in a budget.

Although rooms are spacious, facilities are not so good. Campus is very beautiful, but the location and surrounding is not good. Breakfast was ok. Overall a good experience.
