Nice area where property located, ambience, interior, amenities like pool, steam, sauna. Very good Breakfast. Friendly staff. Gaurav who help and served well in breakfast. Hospitality is good. Good restaurant, saloon and pan parlour near to hotel. Nice, clean area and roads. Need improvement in breakfast menu and taste.

Very enjoyable and a memorable stay. Excellent rooms… very cooperative and helpful staff. Wonderful sumptuous food… and what have you. Everything was good.

Holiday Inn Amritsar. Reviewed on 19 June 2018. Overall good experience with nothing major to complain. The only thing that can be improved is to have more water pressure in the bathroom. Like the prompt service. I asked for scissors to cut bag tag, and the person came in immediately. Typically my experience in other hotels is opposite. Even the service during breakfast was also fast, all the waiters and captains were asking if I want to order anything special. Special mention is hotel manager Ajinkya, was very helpful. Tags: 4 star hotel, Luxurious but affordable, Multicuisine restaurants, near Amritsar airport.

It's an excellent hotel. The rooms are spacious. The staff are also friendly and very helpful. The food is amazing and the service provided is great. Overall experience is outstanding.

Wonderful 5 star property in Amritsar. Had a relaxed stay for 2 nights. The rooms are very nice with modern interiors, bathroom is also quite spacious and comes with all luxuries. The staff is very warm and cooperative, had a very smooth check in. Breakfast spread is quite good and food taste is quite good as well. It is nicely located as it is just 10 minutes drive to Golden Temple and at the same time it is away from hustle of the city. Definitely a great place to stay in Amritsar.

Not an extraordinary stay. A good stay. Poor room service. Staff takes alot of time. Small rooms. A good pool. Market nearby. A good location. Breakfast,, lunch,, dinner all are good. Most of the dishes are Indian. An average stay.!

Real courteous staff and comfortable hotel. Lodging and food were really good… Staff provide a real view and for the benefit of the guest. That's to be much appreciated… We had a early morning train to catch and the staff was were so very helpful that they entertained our requests to pack our breakfast at 44 in the morning and organized a cab at 4.30 am, that has to ஏ really appreciatwd.

I had visited this place in back 2015 to attend my brother marriage and I would say that hotel is so good. Food quality is very nice. Even staff behaviour is also very nice. I had enjoyed so much.

Good place to stay as it's centrally located and can be reached easily from Airport or Railway Station. Only advisable thing is that ppl must look for food outside hotel. There are great food junction are across city and that can be explored.

Excellent property. Well lit rooms. Standard hospitality. The doorman greets you with the great Punjabi welcoming smile. Staff is very cooperative. We didn’t get a chance to try their restaurant apart from the breakfast buffet which was a very average fare. Location is slightly away from the routine hustle and bustle of Amritsar. But Kulcha land right opposite the hotel is a delight for street food lovers.

Disappointing! My wife and I stayed there last month for two nights. So many issues — one of the two key cards was issued for the wrong room. The shower door wouldn’t close fully and water leaked into the bathroom. The shower drain was plugged. Then the repairman tracked mud all over the bathroom! Breakfast was supposed to be served starting 6:00 am but many of buffet offerings became available only an hour later. One of the two treadmills in the gym was broken. The assistant manager apologized and promised to look into these issues — but I have never heard back! Not a value for the money.

Great hotel standing tall in the area of Ranjit Avenue, Amritsar. You can stay here when arriving the city, host parties and seminar. The hotel hosts the highest number of seminars of foreign Universities and colleges for the students interested to apply for their higher education in.

The ambience is good. Staff is very humble, polite & ever smiling. Good service. Comfortable rooms. Worth visiting.

One of the biggest mistakes is the selection of this hotel, instead of a rather well known chain like Taj. The room was mediocre, but the service especially in times of a medical emergency, by serving rotten fruit (pic attached) when requested and have the audacity to pay for it instantly value at that particular moment. Asked for a doctor on call and was not provided any help, not even a cab service to a local hospital, again was asked to pay. Very disappointing to end the last day of the year.

Although it's a well known chain of hotels, it's probably the very worst of all. The rooms are ok, but if you ever need anything in case of a medical emergency, don't depend on the hotel, as they might literally ask you to pay for the little help they provide. Except in case of desperation, this hotel is better avoided.

Stayed for two nights. Rooms are good. Breakfast was included hence enjoyed that as well. Only thing which was strange, the reception staff were very keep to get the whole payment at the beginning. I did made the half payment. And within 5 hours into my stay they asked me again.

Fantastic hotel. Right from check in to the final billing absolutely flawless services. Beautiful room. Excellent housekeeping. FNB was also awesome… Finally a great hotel with real professional staff.

Amazing service! Had to stay due to a delayed flight and the team accommodated and fed us out of usual restaurant hours even though they had been given no prior instructions by our airline (Air India — you bunch of scumbags! )

— Very comfortable beds — Food is great — Workers dont expect tips — They didnt refill our toilet paper, it was the same toilet paper as the previous person staying in our room, which was a little gross — Toilet seats are clean but they arent glass so they look a little stained — Pool is not for use because of the smog and pollution — Good room service.

The room was lovely, as good as the ones in the UK which I have stayed in staff friendly good location for golden temple lots of restaurant s nearby, breakfast was good no complaints at all.

The Party hall was decorated beautifully. The food served was good along with the snacks. DJ provided by the hotel was also good and best thing is that the location is good. Parking is easily available.

One of the five star hotel in Amritsar. It has average ambience with all essentials service. I would recommend it if can't find place in other hotel. The day I visit AC of resturant was not effective enough. Food was below normal standard (filling in many snaks was ill-prepared). A bad experience.

Staff is exceptional. Shanu is one of the best duty manager I have come across in my travels around the world. The rooms were pretty ordinary with multiple problems starting with the door key problem. Wasted so much time unbelievable. Towels are dull and didn't feel like using them. Shower did not suspense hot water for 45 minutes at 3.30 am as we were planning to go the Golden temple for 4 am. Hot water kettle was not desacaled hence water was full of small particles. Definitely not value for money spent. Breakfast was good. Shanu and staff were kind enough to host us for a late checkout. Staff 5 star — Facility 2 Star.

Hotel is good. You get what you expect out of a holiday inn located in amritsar. Staff is superb… very well trained and managed. Breakfast is good, restaurant is a bit small when everyone is there for breakfast in the morning.

Holiday Inn has one one of the best services to provide but they need to do work on their food. They have good rooms and is situated near best markets of Amritsar, also they have a great swimming pool to enjoy. Their prices are reasonable and services up to mark.

I stayed there from 23 july 16 to 31 july 16, in room no 218 perfect example one the best hospitality, like on reception mr. Ajinkiya. restaurant ziva manage and supervise by mr vineet and mr atul is truly professional they always take care about you and your food preference like family member. i strongly recommend for comfortable stay food.

We were very glad to book two rooms and mesmerised by the Reservation Department for there fantastic service (Ravi). The staff of the hotel is really an assert to the property and absolutely love there involvement with the guests. BUT the biggest contradiction or a dark side of the property come out as a rude shock when at 9am on a Saturday morning :- 1) Heavy contraction at the property : 9 am on a cozy Saturday we woke up to a noisy drilling machine and hammer sound. 2) Helpless management : A team headed by Mr. Kunal Shankar (GM) namely, Mr. Balbeer (House Keeping) & Ms. Penny where very SORRY about the State-of-affair BUT couldn't help stop the noise, whereas, profoundly blamed Project team. Among them came out a sign of Hope Mr. Karthik (Duty Manager) who personally took charge of the situation and went ahead stopping the noise! My submission to the hotel management is not to allow these construction on weekends and when the occupancy rate is high! Hope my feedback helps!

TL; DR: Best budget pseudo 5 star in Amritsar. I stayed here for 3 days, and I have to say that the place is great. The rooms are modern and spacious, food is incredible (their Italian restaurant is amazing), and service is top notch. While it is not expensive per se, it might still hurt your pocket of you don't book in advance or get a package deal. Wi-Fi is complimentary, but speed is limited to 512 kbps up/down, and you can't get more even if you want to pay. While they mention 'Premium Plans', the staff had no idea for the same. The Hyatt is more expensive, and has more of the flashy luxuries (like electronic blinds), but rooms are tiny compared to here. Food and service are great in both the places. What is a 'pseudo 5 star'? Many hotels have all the necessary amenities to be categorized as a 5 star, but instead choose to remain as a 4 star to save on taxes. While this impacts their PR, it is better to stay at these hotels rather than she'll out more in luxury taxes at proper 5 stars.

Very poor service and tasteless food. No one even serves u water. U have to call the waiter 3-4 times before they listen. Food served had bad taste. Wastage of money. However I was terribly disappointed with their staff and their pathetic service to be honest and would never ever go their again. Nor will I ever recommend it to anyone. They even don't deserve 1 star also. Zero quality, zero management.

This has been the best hotel service I have experience. Neha helped us greatly and always told us about the best places and times to leave for them. She went out of her way to make sure we had the best time in Amritsar. The staff is very friendly and always want to help you. It was a great experience.

A great hotel. Modern, clean and spacious rooms. The pillows and mattresses were really soft. The staff was really warm. The bathroom was well maintained and all the other facilities were excellent.
