My mother, brother, and I spent 5 nights and 6 days in Kashmir, staying in Srinagar. Prior to our arrival, we were discouraged for choosing Kashmir as a vacation destination considering the ongoing instability within the state. With due consideration, we decided to go forward with the trip and haven't regretted a single decision we made. The hotel options provided within this package were all good, and Mr. Aftab made sure to cater to all our needs. The house boat on Nagin lake was fantastic, the main highlight being the excellent food served by the cooks and the very hospitable staff. The hotel (do not remember the name) had friendly staff, working Wi-Fi, and a spacious room. The food at the hotel was sub-par, but we made up for it by eating at Mr. Aftab's own restaurant in his hotel which was easily the best food we had in Kashmir. Overall, it was one of the best holidays we had taken, and I would strongly recommend people to visit Kashmir for it's breathtaking beauty, and very friendly locals.
