Deyzor is by far the most outstanding place to be at in the Spiti valley. The hosts, the food, and the rooms are all amazing. Definitely worth a visit.

The place is as good as the people that run them and Karan & Skalzang are as good as they come! Deyzor is a place with a lot of personality and such great vibe! I planned to stay here for a day in 2016 but ended up staying for a lot more! If you are in Kaza then you have to stay at Deyzor!

Amazing place in middle of nowhere. Awesome ambience, cozy rooms and friendly staff and super helpful owner (Karanbir).

Superb place with one of best amenities one can’t even expect at such a remote part of the world. Food is simply class apart. Room service guys are friendly & helpful. We also loved having Simba and other pet d (Karan’s furry family) around. They made our stay memorable! A must visit place in Kaza, Spiti Valley. All this is bcoz of the Hardwork, creative mind & thoughfulness of Karanbir who works tirelessly & has managed to create a heaven inside a heaven called Spiti!

It is a very lovely place with ecofriendly thinking. There is a nice tea selection. You can find here lot of interesting books, music is good and silent. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Good place. During my spiti ride I visited this place for lunch. Location is good and easy to find. There is parking option available. Restaurant artwork is on another level, 10 stars for that. Owner is nice and friendly. You will not find internet there also they do not accept cards or online payment, only cash will work. With my friends we order non-veg thukpa and mutton curry. Food taste was good. You will also find lot of option to eat and drink.

Go have some delicious food, read a book, chitchat with travellers, hear good tibetan music. Great ambience. But not so affordable.

You must really be here to understand how we felt… Not everything can be described in words and must be experienced at least once in a lifetime… Hotel Deyzor surpasses all the expectations and is absolutely amazing… This place nourishes the part of our souls in a way we can't expect… The small library (great collection of books), artefacts, food everything is fantastic, and yes rooms as well… The way rooms have been named, the antique locks these doors bear… A place so beautiful that you will feel like going there Everytime you get a chance… Everything on the menu is so delicious… Was here in June hope to visit again soon… Just try and plan a stay here…!

The hotel is one of the best we've seen in Kaza. We were travelling here from Sangla via Sumdo. The welcome was extremely warm and the staff here is nothing like a regular staff. They are more like pipeline who are running a non-usual homestay which in it's entirety is a boutique hotel with a beautiful view. The people here, especially Karambit are extremely knowledgeable of Spiti Valley and the people over here. The food is being phenomenal and the decor is unique and beautiful too. Come here if you're a trvaller and not a tourist with a North Indian family because it's not the ideal comfort you want. It is a travellers paradise with propl who work within livable hours with an attitude which is unparalleled. Deyzor was a beautiful experience, and I'm sure you'll love it too.

They have the most lip smacking food in the whole kaza! Their ginger lemon honey tea is a must try. Shahi paneer and aloo parathas are also delicious.

Karan… You rock. You're not just running a hotel, you're giving travellers an experience they'll never forget. Awesome cafe, finger licking food, good reading all over the walls and 3 dogs that make staying there so memorable. Deyzor is a writers adda. It's a stimulant for any creative mind. And the people who come there are just as interesting. Hats off to you for not only building the hotel but also engaging the local community in providing local grown products.

This place is really awesome neat and clean, Food they serve is also good, The service and staff is very polite and punctual, There is Wi-Fi but very slow (don't expect high speed internet in mountains — i. E. Watsapp will work) Main market and everything is just 10 min, away from DEYZOR. Make sure you book in advance online because mostly it is full.

Amazing hotel managed by some awesome people. Had an absolutely great stay. We were originally supposed to stay for 2 nights however we extended it by a night because we loved the service, food and the vibes of the hotel so much. Karan is a great host to all the guests and there is a lot of learn and know about Spiti from him which is rare in the region. If you going to stay in Kaza, dont think twice and book this place.

What a gem! Highly recommended. Everything about this hotel was fabulous. The owner had an immense personal touch. He was personally there to chat up and provide recommendation for food and site seeing. Each room is tastefully designed with a theme. All of them have names of mountains and add a lot of color to the barren Spiti landscape. I was pleasantly surprised with the food though. You don't expect luxury at such a remote place. The food was not only delicious, but I would not be exaggerating if it was one of the most delicious food I've ever had. Right from the momos to eggs to full fledged meals, everything was finger liking good. The owner also recommended we go to the bed of the Spiti river one evening to watch the sunset and boy was it worth it. If you ever need to stay in Kaza, don't even think about it and just go ahead and stay here.

It's a home away from home. It is a little home for everyone who visits kaza. Karan has made this place heaven by his experience from all over the world. We visit recently in may'18. I can stay there for days without doing anything literally. And the staff are awesome. I would not only recommend but will suggest this to be the only place to stay when in kaza. Simba and all the other fur babiesake it even more beautiful to be. I miss u all and will definitely come back sometime to see u guys.

The cafe gives a feeling that u r sitting somewhere in Europe. Nice ambience, lots of books to read. Accommodation is also very good. Nice facilities. Nice staff. Everything nice about the place.

Excellent, amazing experience. The best that can be had at in a remote high altitude place. Was also served Trout kebabs which is a bit difficult to find. Quite good.

This is a great place to stay in kaza. The ambience is nice. Room decorations are very good and attractive. Even you can contribute to decorate this hotel. Staff behaviour is good. Most importantly food here is awesome. This is the best place for continental dishes I have ever had. Please try their ginger honey tea, Kish (one type of pie), mutton, breakfast sizzler, pizza.

Amazing ambiance and decor… staff is very good… Indian food was disappointing but rest stuff was good. I suppose they are not good with Indian food… the fries, hot chocolate were good… the dessert (chocolate cake) was simply awesome… instagram: honestly. Hungry zomato: honestly. Hungry.

Clean, cosy and hospitable. These would be the words I would use if asked to describe Hotel Deyzor in three words. We arrived at the hotel at 9 pm and were immediately taken in by the warmth of the place which was in stark contrast to the look of the other hotels we passed on the way here. Karan and his team made us feel home and looked after us exceedingly well during our three short days there. Considering the remoteness of the location, this hotel has all it needs to make for a comfortable, friendly stay. Plus Karan is always at hand to help plan your day for experiencing Spiti. Should definitely be the best place to stay in Kaza.

Few things you will find only here like. Warm welcome, served with love, passionate towords hospitality. You just become familiar in 1 visit with owner n staff. Food taste n service is surprised … which even we don't get it star hotels n cities … really lucky for been here.

The best places in Kaza for stay. Rooms are clean and well designed. The hotel is more like a home away from home. The management and staff are super friendly and take care of you very well. The food quality and taste are also brilliant.

Loved everything about this place and was a great base for exploring the surrounding villages, mountains and peaks. We stayed at Hotel Deyzor run by Karan Bir Bedi. Having someone like Karanbir around was informative, given his extensive knowledge of the local area, refreshing, for his outlook on life. The whole place has a really laid back vibe and the best food I sampled in Kaza specially the pahadi mutton… Karan and the rest of his staff do their best to ensure you have a comfortable stay. The dinning n rooms r tastefully done. The rooms are large, clean, all with attached bathroom and Oh yeah they have Wi-Fi! … Thanx Karanbir Singh bedi… had a get time with u at Deyzor…

Unforgettable experience. Caring, hospitable and hardworking host — Karan. A home away from home in the pristine Spiti Valley (Kaza). Every minute spent there felt like being connected to the soul and the source. Karan has given it a Divine, personal touch by writing inspirational quotes on walls and corners and adding fresh colours to the decor and linen. The artefacts and crafts from Spiti and beyond allow us to discover a new way of life. Can't miss the variety of soothing music being played in the coffee shop all through the day. Really appreciate the initiative taken by him to support the craftspeople of Spiti by providing a platform to sell their products in the quaint corner shop without any additional profits.
Kudos to Karan and team for creating an oasis in the beautiful, arid mountainous desert. Highly recommended for those who would like to indulge in some soul searching (excellent collection of books) and yet want to be pampered with delicious, creative food and warm hospitality.

The hotel has a cozy vibe about it. The scented candles make it warm and relaxing place to stay. The owner an ex raid de Himalaya champion knows local places to visit like the back of his hand and his recommendations can be trusted. The food however was too hipsterish for me.

Worst hotel, unfriendly staff, insects inside the room and toilet. Stayed at new circuit house (hppwd) after the stupid receptionist asked us to leave at midnight.

It’s  home away from home. One of my nicest stays ever. A rich natural ambience, high level of hospitality, what should one desire more. I strongly recommend this hotel.

Such a warm, ambient atmosphere! Honestly, I was a little skeptic before leaving for Spiti. Spiti is known as much for its harsh climate as it is for its stark beauty. If one couldn't get a good accommodation there, things could have gone terribly wrong during the trip. Luckily for us, we managed to get a room at Deyzor. The property looks out at the looming Himalayas on one side, and the giant poplars that guard the avenue on the other side. There is even a small football ground at a stone's throw from Deyzor. Evenings are a cheerful affair with the children coming in to play at the ground. Inside, Deyzor has an enviable laid back feel that only place in the hill can have. As soon as you enter, you are in the cafe which is beautifully decorated with photographs, brass, books, branches that seamlessly add a character to the walls, reeds gathered from the wild brushes, ammonites, and, of course, prayer flags. As the evening sets in, the places livens up even more with music, food and fellow travellers. Rooms are spacious, well attended and service is prompt. There's always hot water available — in the mountains, esp. Mountains as rugged as these, it was a luxury. I especially liked the fact that my room was furnished with candles and incense sticks. It wasn't a honeymoon trip, but the electricity tripped a bit in the evenings, so I found the candles to be a thoughtful gesture.

Its a perfect adventurous place n the owner is very vibrant… its possible u would want to stay here for more than u planned!

The most discourteous Hotel owner I ever met. Let out the room to somebody else which was booked by us days ago even after he took a confirmation from us!

Unfortunately, came to know about the place much late. But fortunately, found it nonetheless. Such warmth and immaculate hospitality. I wish I could stay there much longer. The staff is also very courteous. Food was excellent. In my next trip I know where I am staying. All the best to Karan. Keep it up Manisha.
