I spent a night in one of the suites with bathtub, the grove one. Price was around 50000Rs. The reception people was quite apathetic, not welcoming. They wrongly overcharged me. I had to file a request later with Hyatt, and they refunded me. It took days. I found a very basic and common 5 stars hotel, selling itself as a Super-Luxury 5 Stars. I was looking for luxury, and I paid a price of luxury. However, I did not find it. Food was acceptable, but not exceptional. Breakfast was decent, but far from great. People from the Bar and Restaurant are kind and professional. The ones from reception are simply awful. The room was nothing special. Good Wifi, I have to say. It was impossible to have a good hot bath, as the temperature of the water was very mild. This was completely unacceptable. The Bathrobe was rough and pretty common, not comfortable. There were not enough soap or luxury products. The toilet paper rolls were not new. It looked cheap. The telephone or intercom to speak with reception was not very user friendly, difficult to use and of very poor quality. People hard of hearing may have a bad time. The bedroom is made of a carpet fabric that maybe unsuitable for people with allergies. Location is not great either. It is a very steep climb. You need a car. Also, the hotel is enclosed in a forest, with nearly no views. A very basic 5 star, completely overpriced, selling themselves as the ultimate in luxury. Believe me, they are not.
One of the best preferred luxury resort in Himachal Pradesh.
