This the worst hotel I had stayed in ever. They are not at all conscious about the customer… Bathroom are not clean… There is a chance of shortage of water in the middle of your bath. And with all these disgusting problem the price they are putting is above the sky… A non ac room cost 600 for a night. In this price range… A lot of good hotel u can get. Just get rid of it… Waste of money it is.

This is not a hotel basically, a den is the right word, not given room as mentioned, dirty, overall a very bad experience. Never ever go with family as the area is not good and there is no security at all.

Well, my stay at Hotel Major's Den was brief, so I will not be able to cover all the aspects as to what all the pros and cons are about the place. I shall be sharing my experience only and how I felt staying in Hotel Major's Den. To begin with, the hotel is located in a very busy area near the New Delhi Railway Station. It's just a fifteen to twenty minute walk from New Delhi Railway Station to the place and it is not hard to find. Everyone around knows the place. Moreover, it's a popular destination amongst the budget travellers, especially the travellers from abroad. The charges of staying in Hotel Major's Den are quite reasonable and ready on the pocket. The first thing I noticed when I arrived in here is that the entrance of the hotel is quite narrow. A narrow staircase leads the guests to the reception/front desk located at the first floor which again is too congested. When I arrived at the reception desk I found out that our room want ready and had to wait for an hour and a half or so to get the room ready. The room we were provided was a two bedded one and was neither small, not big. It was just ok. The bathroom was narrow and not neat. Even the towels we were provided had stains which was quite a deterrent for me. Overall I was not impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel. But one thing I must admit that the staff was very courteous and very well behaved. Their conduct did make up somewhat for the other flaws which I found in the hotel.
